I LOVE my new LEXUS

by AllaK on 10/25/2023

I got my NX300 last week and I cannot be happier. Originally I wanted RAV4, bur the price for Lexus NX300 with less miles , same year was only a tiny bit higher, but it is so much more luxury!!! The service was amazing, Anna K was helping us. She was so patient with us, so knowledgable about cars, and very very helpful. It was the most pleasant experience I ever had buying a car!!! Thank you, Anna K, thank you, Lexus of North Miami

VERY DISSATISFIED

by Truthful_Review on 06/05/2018

Absolutely no communication, even from upper management after emailing them directly, regarding a repair that was not done correctly, in my opinion, by Lexus. It's a situation like this that will cause a person to venture to another brand. I received excellent service the first year of having the car, but it has been a complete turnaround of service since. I have had to call repeatedly for a simple repair that should have never happened.

Stealing [non-permissible content removed]!!!

by JustAWarning on 05/05/2018

I give this crooked place NEGATIVE stars. Here’s why: I had a traumatic experience of getting sideswiped in my little Honda Civic coupe by a speeding suv on i95 last month. Thankfully all parties involved were not hurt. This created a whirlwind of migraines with car insurance and my mental need to trade-in my civic coupe for an affordable suv. A car accident will do that to you. I figured I had been through enough and wanted to fix my cars damage through my insurance at a luxury Lexus dealership instead of an auto body shop just for a better experience. So I thought. My car took 9 days to fix the scratched door and what the collision center said was the inner workings of my front headlight (which was working fine the entire 2 weeks before bringing it in to their center). Fine, no biggie. The insurance deductible was the same. So I had to schedule a time to pickup my car with Zoe Green from the NMB Lexus Collision Center after hours because of my work schedule. When I picked up my car, the doors were unlocked and the odometer was set to Trip A. I thought nothing much of these things as I went to a Lexus dealership and the car was safely in their lot. I went home and locked my car for the night. The next morning as I left for work, I tried unlocking my car door manually since the battery in my keyless entry died a few months ago and I haven’t yet had the chance to fix it. It didn’t unlock. That was migraine two. The mechanics at this dealership accidentally disconnected the wire that controls the lock on the drivers side door. Ooops. I spent all week parking around Miami with unlocked doors until I could bring the car in again when I was off from work. If you’re not aware, a civic coupe only has a manual key entry on the drivers side door for some reason. Moving on, I had to go back a 3rd Saturday to have this issue fixed. Ok fine. Headache over. Now I’ve had my car for 4 years and it’s been good to me but I mentally feel the need to switch to an suv. And here’s the BIG problem these people have cause me: I am VERY aware of the total mileage I have driven in my car, I ALWAYS kept the odometer setting to show me my total mileage. I had UNDER 30k miles on it. I don’t drive a lot! I don’t like driving down here and that’s always how I’ve felt way before my accident. As I was suv shopping, I had my car appraised and they had to change the odometer settings back from Trip A to the overall mileage. They told me I had over 46k miles on it... WHAT!! I had an internal panic attack right there as this ruined my deal for me, it drove the price of my car down by THOUSANDS of dollars. What happened at that Lexus dealership?!?!? So I decided to call my agent that helped me, three times. Twice I was told Zoe Green was busy at the moment and would call me back shortly, and once I got their machine. She did not call me back (and still to this moment has not). I had to write an email later that night to her work account telling her what happened and asking how this could be. She has responded to only one of my emails, and still none of my calls. Her only response in the email was that she can assure me her dealership did not drive the car tens of thousands of miles in those 9 days and that she does not know how this is possible. She wrote in my total mileage in her Lexus logs as 22,888 Miles. Hmmm. I also have the Lexus receipt of this entire transaction and it clearly states I had 22,888 miles on my car. Hmmmm. How can it now be 46k? I assured her that I did not drive tens of thousands of miles in my car since visiting her dealership either last month. I told her I don’t think anyone drove anywhere, some glitch with the computer or ECU must have happened at the dealership and unfortunately I caught it only last week. She still has not responded via phone or email past her initial response. It’s been clearly indicated to me there is nothing Lexus can do and I’m not here to waste my time going in again to this joke to have my blood boiled. So I am WARNING everyone about these stealing [non-permissible content removed]!!!! I am beyond upset and disappointed.

Be clear on what you are negotiating!

by ladybug123 on 01/18/2018

Thought I was negotiating a price on a vehicle from their online inventory. Had an out the door price, only to find out that, even though the description of the car I was negotiating said certified, that they would not honor the certification because we 'negotiated' a price. Really? What dealership advertises a certified vehicle, works up a price, and then says, by the way, we will not certify this vehicle since we negotiated. NOT TO MENTION, the salesperson I worked with neglected to tell me this detail. It was the director of internet sales who told me only when I had to resort to calling him to get interior pictures (after asking for 3 days). I was given the 'Ma'am, I am the director and it doesn't matter what the breakdown of the price is if you have an out the door price.' Well, let me tell you I am the paying customer, and if the paying customer asks for a breakdown of the price, you give them a breakdown of the price. I don't care if you are the director or the POTUS. I only had to call the director because the salesman didn't deliver within a reasonable amount of time (3 days!) Very disappointed.

Worst experience that I ever had

by Nicolae1221 on 05/27/2016

[HTML removed] The short version: We tried to buy a car and ended-up in $3000 debt, no car, damaged credit score, wasted more than a month of time and a lot of stress and disrespect from the dealership. Please note that the lease on our names (me and my wife) started on Apr/16 if I’m not mistaken. Still today we play the ping pong. Taking into consideration all above I will make short summary of my experience. Everything is backed-up by documents, photos, emails and SMS messages that I have also shared. I have experienced an extremely bad communication with the dealership and I was never getting concrete answers to my questions From time to time seeing things do not go as smooth or seeing things that I don’t like I was trying to halt the process and try to escalate the situation to the next level management, every time I was “dragged” back into continuing it as is. I was saying ok, maybe this time they know and will work it out. I was thrown from one person to another and the next one started from scratch the process as nothing existed until that moment My impression is that I was, and most probably I am still taken for a kid, thus I feel discriminated by age, because this is the behavior I feel towards me whenever I get the chance to talk to one of the so called “managers” I am under the impression that during the application process people I have worked with (concretely Ted and Nick) had no idea what to ask, quick example: they asked the I-94 Form for US citizen, which is my wife. As far as we know the I-94 is for foreigners only. US citizens do not have or need this form. I was threatened with police by Alfred for not returning the car, even though I have repeatedly asked in few emails and SMS messages to come and pick it up. I suspect Alfred did not had all the feedback I sent for the last month at hand or flat out ignored it. In any case, never in my entire life anyone called me thief or threaten with Police for any reasons. I find myself with damaged credit score, the Capital One and Credit Karma show -30 since we started the process. Not sure but I think we signed only to apply for Lexus Financial and not anything else that was applied for. We are forced to pay between $2000 to $3000 to ship my trade in car to California and and ship the 2016 Lexus GX back to Florida, this is in contrast that we did not do any wrong steps except trust and follow the guidance of the dealership in terms of papers to send, signature and if we are allowed to use the car or travel with it. I have the email where I asked if this is not allowed then to tell me ASAP. The simple fact that there is no deal and the $3000 downpayment is still not refunded a month later makes me suspect this is some sort of robbery or blackmail in plain daylight. And BTW I have asked explicitly few times to proceed with the refund, ship me my car and pickup dealership’s Lexus GX. nothing happened. No reply, no suggestions, no middle-ground. What happened is Alfred called and harassed me with the Police. Before all this got out of hand, I have requested the front desk by the phone to ask the General Manager to call me. They said he left, I requested for him to call me the next day. What happened is that John Worshin called which is in charge of finance and he was not able to answer my questions, he said he will get back to me and he never did. I was thrown to another person. Despite that when I call nobody seems to care, when the dealership calls they leave voice messages that are meant to sound “very heavy and important”. I swallow this “attitude” and call back to see what is so important after tons of my emails and unanswered phone calls from their side.

Service

by ReallyBad on 02/04/2016

Sent the wife to have the 20k service done on the GS350. They did not address the issue with the windshield wipers or the steering wheel mounted audio controls. They charged my wife for the oil change even though it is included with the car we purchased from this dealer. Wife followed up with getting a refund (forget the fact they didn't address any of the issues with the car) for the oil change and nothing ever happened. The wife has had to follow up multiple times over the past two months and still no resolution. Worse yet they take no ownership of the issue and do not return calls, the wife has to call in to get any information. This is not even mediocre service, this is just bad. At the very least the service manager should have called my wife to apologize for all the inconvenience. I am very disappointed that I did not get a Lexus survey to share my feelings about how Lexus of North Miami treats their customers.

Exemplary Sales Experience

by miguelvalle31 on 11/11/2015

Just a note to express my sincerest gratitude for the attention I received from Mr. Justin Adderly in my recent purchase of a LEXUS IS 350. I have purchased many vehicles throughout the past 14 years, but this experience stands out as the most enjoyable. The customer service this gentleman provided me was exemplary. Justin Adderly is an asset to LEXUS of North Miami. He should be commended for the great sales process he carries out with your guests. I would not hesitate to recommend your dealership and sales experience to my family and friends. Thank you for all of his efforts and commitment to satisfy the customer. Sincerely, Miguel Valle

Excellent Sales Person

by Ls11257 on 09/14/2015

We leased our new Lexus ES from Edgar Santiago. It was the most Pleasent lease experience we've ever had. Edgar was straight forward delivered a phenomenal deal at the price we were looking to spend. No salesman games back-n-forth. We did this in3 easy phone calls and Edgard delivered the car to us in Miami with all papers ready to sign, we did not have to worry about driving up to Pembroke Pines. We highly recommend Edgar Santiago and are going to refer all our friends to him!!!

worst dealership

by daran005 on 08/10/2015

I have been a lexus customer for the past 2 years, my lease is almost up and i wanted to either get a new deal or return my lease and pay the fees owed. after spending the entire day at the dealership and paying the amount owed for my lease, the deal they worked out for me did not work out; this is when i decided to return the lease. I was told they could not receive my Lexus and that i had to figure out what to do with it. they said they would refund me the money they had already charged me and told me i had to call Lexus financial and figure out what i needed to do. everything was good until i said no to a poor deal and refused to sign. After calling Lexus financial i was told by the operator that they were not allowed to turn me away, and asked me to come back the next day to return the car. I come in Saturday morning to preowned and was rudely greeted by Albert. He yet again turned us away without even listening to what had happened. He was rude and very disrespectful to me and my husband he even called us irresponsible for coming in on a Saturday to return a car. I will never again do business with this poorly managed dealer.

NIGHTMARE

by TUDORLEXUS on 04/04/2015

The last visit to this dealership turn into a nightmare just like I said in the title. I leased a Lexus RX 350 for almost 4 years and last month I decided to buy out the lease because I'm going to move to Europe for a few months and I decided to ship my car overseas. Now, they told me the TITLE (you cannot send a car overseas without the title) is going to take 2 weeks but a FAST TITLE will take only one week so I decided to go ahead I made my plans for my departure: quit my job right after I paid off the lease, did not extend my rent, arranged the car shipping date, etc. After 2 weeks they didn't have the fast title, after 3 weeks they did not have it either and even after 4 weeks they do not have my title or even an estimate date when they will have it. During this 4 weeks period I called Lexus of North Miami a million times. They always lie to me about the title after putting me hold on different departments. I had to wait 34 minutes on the phone one day and after checking my info they told me that they are waiting for the bank to send the title: lie because I paid cash, there was no bank involved. All the people that were involved in my lease/lease purchase, did not respond to my emails at all. Very unprofessional. They don't care about you after they take your money. They don't even respond or reply to you. Every time I called everybody there told me that they are going to call me back but nobody called me. I decided to try to solve the problem on my own and I contacted Lexus Financial Services which was a very nice experience. They inform me that they sent the title (not FAST TITLE) to Lexus of North Miami in about a week after they received the payment from the dealership but there was no request made for a fast title so they sent it thru regular USPS mail without any tracking number or delivery confirmation instead of a FedEx overnight delivery which was very possible and easy if the dealership would have told them or request a FAST TITLE as they suppose to. By now I suppose to be in Europe already but because Lexus of North Miami did not treat my title issues properly I can not go anywhere and even worst, I don't know when all this is going to be over. Lexus is a nice car but do not buy or lease it from Lexus of North Miami there are a lot of other nice Lexus dealers in Miami area, stay away from Lexus of North Miami, they don't care about you they care only about your money.

Broken Promises

by LexusNoMore on 02/02/2015

I am a loyal Lexus customer. I have purchased one Lexus and leased another two. I was contacted during the holidays by Lexus of North Miami and was offered the opportunity to get out of my lease for a new 2015. I explained that I had accumulated excess mileage and they advised me they would waive the excess mileage so long as I leased or purchased a new Lexus. So I returned the 2013 and leased a 2015. Today, over a month later, I received an invoice from Lexus Financial in the amount of $1506.29 for the excess mileage. I immediately called Lexus Financial and they advised the issue was between the dealership and me. I called the salesman, Mayer Damouny, and he denied ever having stated the excess mileage would be waived. I got burned by a sneaky salesman but Lexus has lost a loyal customer.

Purchase of my Certified Pre-Owned ES

by tennisguy81 on 01/27/2015

Alex S at Lexus of North Miami made the whole car buying process very bearable. Car buying has never been a fun thing for me but from the moment I met with the internet manager and she introduced me to Alex, the process was easy, no pressure and could have been enjoyable if I wasn't so nervous. I like the amenities that are also offered at the dealership. Overall the process was good and I would recommend this Lexus location to anyone looking to make a purchase.

Service Nightmare

by Tharr62 on 01/13/2015

Lexus of North Miami is the worst car dealership experience i have ever had. Everything started off great in Sales.. and then when I went to service my 2015 RX 350 the nightmare starts. It went in after only three weeks for a small squeaking noise when the steering wheel moved up and down. (07/11/14) They told me that they HAD to replace the ENTIRE STEERING SYSTEM in the car, and was going to be a big job. I was shocked and told them that I researched online, that it might only be a simple matter of adding some lube to the worm gear that moves the wheel up and down when you exit the car. They refused to do that, and I EVEN OFFERED TO PAY for this service and they still would not do it! So, I took my car to another Lexus Dealer (Kendall) and they had this issue fixed in just 15min, and yes, all they needed to do is add the lube to the gear, and magically it was fixed. Clearly they wanted to bill Lexus Corp. for massive work that was not needed, at the expense of not having MY car, and all the un-nessary part replacement, which on a brand new car is ridiculous. I called the service manager Ed Rubenfeld back to let him know how upsetting this was, and how ridiculous it was that I had to drive to Kendal, when I live less then 2mi away from this dealership. He said he was sorry, and that to give them another chance to do work.. Okay, on 01/09/15 I dropped the car off again for an oil service, and for them to detail the car / wax, etc. I had a loaner for two days, and picked it up only to find a DENT in my passenger side door, with white paint on top (I have a black car). THEY DENIED the dent, and said it was already there. (it was not there, the car was spotless). It was so obvious too that this dent was fresh, and just happened. So, much so that I went right over to the collision center there at the dealer and they were able to wipe off the white paint marks around the dent. as it was so new. Now, I am having to fight with them over this. They claim that they marked the condition report to show the dent, but when they gave me the form the date was the day of pickup and not when it was dropped off. They are / were trying to cover up the dent, and took no responsibility. Next.. I get home and read over the service paperwork that was printed.. and notice they patched a nail from one of my tires?? Um, there was no issues with ANY of the tires when I came in. The paperwork stated that the tire light was on, and that they put a patch on the front tire. There was NEVER any tire light on, and this was NEVER on the service order to start with. No one called me to tell me, nothing. IF there was a nail in the tire, then this happened there at the dealership! Trust me, if there was a tire light on don't you think I would have said something when I dropped the car off?? I called and spoke with the Service Advisor "Harvey" today and he was very clear that the tire light was "on" when the tech took the car into the shop. Yeah, I bet it was :roll my eyes: This dealership is not a good place to bring your car. They are too busy, and not careful at all in the least bit. They are trained to take advantage, and offer no support whatsoever. Take your car anywhere else for service, and be VERY careful when you drop it off for service on what the condition is!
