I have been an Audi owner for the past 15 years. I was in the market for a Q5 either used with low miles or new. I've been stalking the internet for Q5's all over CT and found one at Hoffman Audi of New London. I made an appointment to come in and test drive one and that same day I drove home with a beautiful shiny new Q5. Both Bob and Ken were wonderful to work with, super knowledgeable and and very patient. I did not feel any pressure and was so impressed with everyone and the dealership. It was a great experience and I would recommend Hoffman to anyone that is in a market for an Audi. I will be a customer for life.

I had a rather mixed experience. The sales consultant and sales manager were helpful, but I thought they were extremely antagonistic once I began to negotiate the price. After we reached a deal, the remainder of the process went smoothly.

From the moment my car was sighted approaching the enclosed service reception area to the time my smiling and friendly service writer introduced himself I was made to feel that I was visiting a friend. I had elected to stay at the dealership while my A5 was being serviced and found that the attitude and demeanor of everyone at Hoffman Audi was just as cordial and friendly as the day I first visited the dealership. There were no surprises when I was told that my [now] freshly washed car was ready. Everything my service writer had promised had been completed. This was a great buying experience! From the time when I first walked in there was no pressure or 'hard sell' to get me in a car before I left the dealership. When test driving the car, Nat M. the sales consultant methodically took time to explain all the features available and even some subtle amenities that you don't always discover for a while. He was knowledgeable and great to work with. The rest of the sales team were also great. The business manager was helpful in arranging a low financing rate that beat the lowest rate I could get from my credit union. One of the best dealer experiences I've had ever!

Highly efficient, friendly service and the 2-ish hour wait was actually enjoyable. Upon arrival, I was offered an Ipad, given their Wifi code, planted myself in front of the television with the remote and the cup of chai tea that I made with their Keurig machine. Great! Couldn't have been better! They clearly set out to be the best. . .and, based on my experience, they are.

Great Service and Communication

My car has an intermittent problem with several different solutions. Mark in service took a very practical approach to trying to figure out the problem. Other dealerships would have just changed out every part and charged me for it. Mark took a much better troubleshooting approach to deduce the root cause of the problem and replace just the offending part. Thanks Mark and the service staff at Hoffman of New London for a great job.

Every person I came into contact with at Hoffman Audi, especially Caitlin M. my sales associate, made me feel as if I were visiting friends. Product knowledge, courtesy and a real desire to please are hallmarks of shopping at Hoffman Audi. Anyone that is in the market for a fine German automobile needs to pay these folks a visit. Leave any adversarial attitude at home as you'll not need it. You will be able to choose what you want and there will be no pressure trying to persuade you to buy a slow selling item that might be languishing in their considerable inventory. This type of professionalism in a modern car dealership has becoming very rare. RB
