Excellent Service

This service puts on my snow tires every year and last year they put a note on my receipt that I would need new ones this year so just to make sure, this year, I went to a tire shop and without saying anything brought my old snow tires which they said were too worn out to use on my car. So they gave me an estimate on new snow tires. I then went back to Audi service and got an estimate and they were actually cheaper than the tire shop. They took me right away and put on Pirelli snows and washed and vacuumed the car. Rocky always provides great service and found me an additional discount which is why I go back every year.

awesome bodyshop experience

recently purchased a brand new A3 from Hoffman. Somebody scratched the side of the car and I took it to the body shop without an appointment. They buffed out the scratches while I waited. I was in and out in 10 minutes. They were awesome!!

excellent body shop experience

I recently purchased a brand new A3 and discovered that somebody scratched the side of my car. I went to Hoffman Body Shop without an appointment and they were able to buff out the scratch right then and there. They were awesome!! I was in and out in 10 minutes.

horrible manageman

There was damage that was done to the paint of my car when I had a repair done at this dealership. Chips out of the paint and paint completely torn off when I picked up my very expensive Audi S6. I have put thousands of dollars into maintenance and repairs at this shop and spent my hard earned military disability retirement on a nice vehicle and was expecting a respectful manager to come out to me and offer a way to clear up any complaint that a loyal customer may have. The manager came out and looked at my car, looked at me, and said, my shop didn't do this, im not reconditioning your paint, I don't buy it, and threw his hands up in the air and turned his back to me and walked away before I even finished explaining the damage that was done by his dealership. This was the head manager, Elliot Matos..... When I stopped him from walking back into his office and blatantly disrespecting me with "I don't buy it im done here im not reconditioning your paint" he turned around and stopped again and said "I owe you nothing, im not fixing anything, your car was repaired, I owe you nothing, I don't buy it" And walked away from me AGAIN. when I stopped him AGAIN, and said you know sir you could at least show me some Respect after I put thousands and thousands of dollars into your business, and say "hey maybe this or that happened" and calmly explain to me an even possible understanding we could come to, I wouldn't be as angry, but you throw your hands in the air and turn your back to me when I show you damage your dealership did after I dump hundreds of dollars into a repair!? He says "I don't need to come to an understanding with you I owe you nothing" I said oh because im a young kid coming in here with a serious complaint you think you can just walk away from me, after I spend thousands and thousands at this dealership I expect you to respect me and speak to me like a respected customer...... He says "your wrong I can do what I want", and I said "the customer is ALWAYS right SIR! And your disrespecting me and walking away from me after YOU damaged MY car when I dumped 450 bucks plus tax into your business!" I said you should at least talk to me, you think because im a young kid you can throw your hands up say I don't buy it and walk away huh? I expect you to respect me as a customer and at least sit me down, APOLOGIZE for my aggravation, and offer something to come to an understanding. He says, "I owe you nothing, your car was repaired" and went on to tell me that how dare i disrespect him by raising my voice! I said I give what I get! I am THE CUSTOMER and I was disrespected by the head manager of this service facility then you turn around and lecture me about how I should be showing you respect!?!? I said give me your card now, I will be in touch with the better business bureau and with your ownership, and he said "you can't do anything" and handed me his card, told me to leave, and closed the door on me. If you have a vehicle to put lots of money into an expensive repair or maintenance, and it comes out damaged, you can expect to be called a liar, have your back turned to you by management before you even finish explaining your aggravation, and be yelled at and then lectured on respect to them when you came in with a vehicle that was damaged by them. I gave this dealership one star because ZERO stars is not an available rating. The best I could do here was get the manager to say "yes, the customer is always right, but your still wrong" and walk away from me.

A Bad Situation Turns Into Something Good

I have a 2001 A4. I love it. I bought it new and it still looks great and runs powerfully. The only thing that hasn’t held up well is the dashboard panel. It has lost some of the little red lights in the center. This means that the outside temperature display is hard to read. Consequently I can’t tell if the panel says 58 or 66 or 39 degrees. Needless to say this is not a big deal. Things get a little tougher with the warning alerts. Two weeks ago today, near Vernon, CT, on one of my occasional drives from Boston, MA to Morristown, NJ, a warning symbol went on. I pulled off I-84 and into an empty parking lot to look at it. From the imperfect image on the panel, I knew it wasn’t a gas or windshield fluid alert, but I couldn’t figure out which icon it was. An unknown warning symbol on a long trip is at best unsettling. After a few seconds of cursing to myself, it occurred to me that there must be an Audi dealer near/in Hartford. About 15 minutes after having that thought, I pulled into Hoffman Audi. I walked into the Service Department, and a very nice person greeted me from behind the check-in desk. As I got out the first words to explain why I was there, a voice came from a side office. “What can I help you with?” I immediately said that I wasn’t there to buy a car. The person speaking to me was Elliot Matos. He responded with a big smile, “That’s okay. I’m not here to sell you a car. I’m in Service.” We walked outside to the A4. Elliot sat in the driver’s seat, turned on the car, stared hard at the panel and then said, “It’s oil.” I don’t know how he determined that given the very few bits of the image that could be seen, but he was right. He had one of his colleagues bring out a quart of oil and just for good measure he topped off the windshield wiper fluid, too. Then he said, “No charge. Have a good rest of your day.” I tried to give him a tip, but he wouldn’t take it. So, I asked what charities he likes. He mentioned Big Brothers/Big Sisters and The Hole in the Wall Gang. Today, I made a donation to Big Brothers/Big Sisters in acknowledgement of Elliot’s fine work. Elliot’s professional, friendly assistance turned a bad situation into something good. I am sure those of you who go to Hoffmann Audi already know about Elliot. Now, you also know the charities he supports. I wish this dealership were close to my Massachusetts home. Thank you Elliot. Excellent service visit

I brought my car in for its regular service visit and winter wheel change over. I was in and out of the area within a very short time and my loaner car was ready for me. The customer service person, Jackie Smith, was very helpful in answering a set of questions I had about needs for my car and took care of all of them during the service visit. I especially liked the texting service with customer service. It was easy, convenient and saved me time making calls. The car was ready on time and the work was all completed to my satisfaction. Overall and excellent experience... as usual.
