Markley GMC Service

My 3 girls and I stopped in for an oil change the week of Christmas. While it took longer than we were told, I was not upset and didn't expect any sort of discount. When the car was ready, Blake apologized several times and gave us our services for free. Customer service is still alive and can be found in Blake at Markley!

What could be better?

Blake is a patient man. He put up with way more questions than many in his position might have. My 2008 VUE XR had wrong ratio tires on it when I bought it from Markley a few years ago. It was time for new tires and I wasn't going to have the inability to put cable-chains on because of clearance issues any longer. I waffled again and again about brands and styles and Blake kept working the numbers. Always polite, never short with me. I chose Michelin Premier's in size P235/60R17. Right off the lift I noticed a big difference. Better acceleration, braking, cornering, noise and ride. Two days after getting them, we got a good soaking rain and I was only surprised once at the beginning of my ride. I think the mold release was still all over them. I noticed that after about fifty miles in the rain (some of that on muddy, greasy Weld County roads) the traction improved on the wet blacktop. I feel like my VUE has been given a new lease on life. I also notice the brake pulsing is gone. Maybe it's the damp conditions or perhaps the reduced leverage of stopping the car that the brakes are feeling because of the decreased rolling radius. Either way, I'm happy I didn't say yes to having the brake work done and gave the tires a chance to show me what they could do for the car. Markley matched the price on the tires to the best price I was aware of. Home grown business gets my local money. What could be better? Thank you to Blake.

I have been bringing my 2004 GMC to Markley for all the routine service and all repairs for 11 years. I trust Markley Service Department because they have always been fair, honest and helpful. Repair no power steering problem at times

This was the second time my truck had a problem with the power steering failing. I am hoping this time with the parts that were replaced corrects the issue. I am grateful for the loaner vehicle I had while my truck was being repaired.

Couldn't be more pleased!!!

I recently had my oil changed on my Saturn at Markley's. I expected to wait so I brought reading to do. I hardly got my cup of coffee done and my oil was changed and my car was shiny clean. I have always had professional service here. The best part;however, is that they keep me informed on Saturn recalls, etc. My transmission went out in November. What an expensive repair! When I saw there was a recall on something that sounded like a transmission, I as Markley about it and filed a claim. John Eisenhower called me within a week and told me a reimbursement was on the way!!!! I am so pleased with your company and will continue to bring my business here!!

ANOTHER NAIL

We just moved into a new neighborhood and this is the 3rd nail we've got in 2 weeks. The first 2 were repairable but this one found the sidewall and had to replace the tire. We were headed out for a Ski trip the next day and they got the tire in and put on within 2 hours. Thanks Markley's!!

Tailgate Rattle

I had a rattle in the tailgate. In demonstrating the rattle for Service Writer Steve, I opened the bed cover. Knowing they had to work on the tailgate, I left the bed cover open. Someone ran my truck through the car wash. This would normally not be a problem but I had a heavy blanket in the back which was soaked with water. No damage done, just time to dry out the blanket. Whomever takes vehicles through the car wash should check for things being open before doing so.
