Oil change and A/C service

Took my 2017 Civic in for an oil change and to have the a/c checked out because it wasn’t blowing cold air. Service advisor Samantha mentioned a Honda service bulletin regarding a factory defect in the a/c condenser and a leaking shaft seal. Honda extended the warranty on these parts to 10 years. My a/c was checked out and verified that these were the faulty parts. The condenser and shaft seal were replaced at no charge to me and I am now enjoying cold air again. Thank you Samantha and the service department crew for a job well done. I have taken my Honda for service at Roseville AutoNation Honda since it was new and have always been pleased with the quality of service.

Honda Pilot David is great

The service technician David was 100% awesome I did not like the fact that I could not fix one issue without being forced to fix a more expensive issue and was told I have to fix the camera alignment to be able to fix the auto stop issue that was a recall and ended up paying way more than originally quoted

Mr. Edmunds was very helpful and very nice. i toke my car in on Friday and was to wait for my service. The wait was 4 hours so Mr. Edmunds rescheduled my appoint for first thing on Saturday morning. very satisfied with my service.

I came in for a recall repair as well as a brake service on my Honda Pilot. I was greeted promptly, and my service advisor James explained what was going to be done and got me written up & on my way. I thought my car wasn’t going to be done until the following day, but what a surprised when James called to say they had completed everything that day! James is always friendly and knowledgeable which I appreciate! Great job!

Service bad service

Scheduled a dropoff of my CRV for an airbag recall. Half day job took three days. The communication is terrible, they use an outsourced company to answer calls and they initially hung up on me when I pressed them on an update of my vehicle, then told me to drive myself to the dealership to get an update on my vehicle. Could not get ahold of a service consultant or manager. When I did finally hear back the manager he apologized. Its just their process is horrible. The company is too big in my opinion. Will go to another Honda dealership in the future.

Unorganized

Let me start off by saying I was an employee for a Subaru dealership. I know how dealers operate in the background. My visit to the dealer was to retrieve my belongings from my totaled vehicle that AAA sent in. Walking into the dealer, I was amused with how clean and professional the dealer was. Employees were quick to help, lively and friendly. The problem came in trying to locate my vehicle. I was sat down for about an hour and a half as staff were stumbling about calling eachother and pacing around trying to find my keys and any info of where my vehicle was parked. Typically there’s a board with numbered slots that your keys are hung on corresponding to the work order number. That way the keys are always easy to locate. They openly told me that they don’t put the keys on the board “depending on what’s going on with the vehicle”. Ok. So a porter or technician should have the keys…at least at Subaru that’s what it would mean if the keys aren’t on the board. But no porter or techs had my vehicle. The lack of a “buddy system” when a service advisor in charge of your WO is off makes things more hectic since no one knows who has the key or documents. If one service advisor is off, the keys and documents are handed to their “buddy” so everyone knows who to talk to. Yet they openly stated they don’t have a buddy system. As it turns out, the scrap yard had already came to pick up my van. If explained the situation to my AAA agent who was equally as frustrated as I was. I didn’t give my convent, nor did I transfer ownership, so the van should NOT have been touched. Adding in that AAA hadn’t yet paid the dealer for the inspection. So at that point it became a case of a “stolen vehicle”. Why so? Not only was authorization given or ownership relinquished, but I was given till the weekend to get my belongings. Mind you the van was towed in on Wednesday, and I was there to get my belongings Thursday morning. Needless to say Thursday isn’t Saturday. Given as I didn’t have a vehicle, I had to scramble to figure out a way to get to the junk yard to retrieve my belongings where I found items had been stolen. Sure this can be chalked up to all a freak accident, but this doesn’t excuse the dealership’s lack of organization and team communication.
