Jake Bumacod, After Sale Advisor, is a (10+) and he was OUTSTANDING to work with. He was Patient, Courteous, Responsive to our Auto Service needs and Honest every step of the way. Jake, spent the time to explain the vehicle inspection process and he also ordered the parts necessary to repair a squeeky trunk lid. Jake, is a CREDIT TO AUTONATION and he serves as an example for others to emulate.

This dealership is the best

I spoke with several other Toyota dealerships in the area, and no one even came close to the deal Toyota of Cerritos gave me on a new 2024 Rav4 Hybrid. Highly recommend going to Toyota of Cerritos if you live in the SoCal area. Everyone there was super nice and helpful, specifically Henry Mendez. Henry took care of me during the sale and answered all my questions and made sure I was happy. No pressure. He didn’t try to upsell me or try to talk me into things I wasn’t interested in. He also gave me a great deal on my trade in. Not only that, but the financial director, Faramarz Khounani, who finalized all the paperwork was great. Very kind, knowledgable and friendly. Trust me, these guys are the best. All the other Toyota dealerships in the area were no where close to Toyota of Cerritos in terms of communication, value and honesty. Thanks again Henry! You deserve a promotion.

Bad customer service

I brought my car CHR for service and I told them that I wanted to bought a Toyota service care for $329 for5 services, when they called me to pick up the car, they said my car is not go through with the service that I want to buy and I have to pay more than I expected.

Oil and filter and tire rotation package

Service was done but they failed to top off fluids as described on my invoice. I went back and the service advisor said they’re not empty, but weren’t to the fill line either SMH and left they will not get more than oil changes from me.

Disappointed

I took my Hybrid Toyota Highlander to get the windshield and pillar fixed after it had been damaged by a flying object on the freeway. The first time I picked it up, they forgot to fix the pillar and they dirtied they inside of my car leaving black oil finger marks as a result of changing the windshield. So I took it back and they gave me a loaner Camry in the meantime. It took about a week or two to hear back from them because according to them the only person who could fix it was on vacation. Meanwhile I’m paying more for gas than I usually woul with my Hybtid. When I go to pick up my car I noticed that they’ve left parts dangling after fixing the pillar, so I have to leave it there for another week or two. By this time I’m frustrated that I can’t fit any of my teacher boxes in the trunk of the Camry, not even my son who is 6’3 fits in there with his baseball gear. In all, it was a very frustrating experience because of all the inconveniences I had to deal with. I don’t think I’ll be bringing my car back anytime soon. I do have to say that the service worker, Mayumi, who was in charge of my case was polite and professional and it seemed like she was trying her best to help me.

Great service and communication the entire visit! I was a bit late to my appointment and they were still able to finish the service by the estimated time. They found an issue while inspecting my car and provided a detailed overview of the situation and the next steps for submitting a claim on my behalf and ordering a needed part. They were able to get me scheduled for a follow up service visit within a few days of this initial visit.

Disappointing Service Experience

Took my truck in for a scheduled oil change. Took two hours for them to get the truck on a lift. Received a call stating that two screws on the factory skid plate were stripped and I would have to pay to replace them. The truck has only ever been serviced by Toyota technicians, which means the last tech stripped the screws, not me. Have to argue with the manager to get them to replace the screws at no cost to me. When the truck was first returned to me after completing the oil change, it was clear that the skid plate was removed off the vehicle and poorly reinstalled, screws and bolts were all loose or not even in all the way, with additional damage to the skid plate from breaking off the screw heads of the stripped screws. Had to get the manager out of his office to look at the truck. They sent it back and reinstalled the skid plate properly but some screws were still found loose. Also I found my tires over inflated after the service. Usually have good experiences with this service center but for whatever reason, it seems the service technicians are being careless with their work. What should have been a two hour service turned into 4 very frustrating hours.

The Experience

Sales was super helpful and everyone was kind and courteous. The process was quick and fast. Just under 1 hour and a half for paperwork- quickest I have ever experienced. Some issues came up mechanically with car - however when I brought them up - they were addressed immediately and even supplied me with a rental car while they corrected the items discussed. I would 💯 % go back here for another car sale or car service.
