onWe walked into Volkswagen after leaving another dealer, and having an awful experience. Mike was the first person to greet us and from the first greeting he was lovely. Personable, humorous, and above all non-pressuring. We walked out of the dealership with our first Volkswagen. Thank you so much, Mike.

Inattentive and substandard service experiences

onWorst service ever. Repeatedly leaves you on hold then hangs up. Does not even look at car for a day or two after appointment. Fails to provide updates or obtain work authorization. Doesn't contact when work will not be completed. Management never available. Lastly, substandard work with inattentive service advisors never taking accountability for their crappy service. Stay away.

Poor Communication all around

onI bought a VW Jetta from another dealer at 27K miles and about 5K miles later I had dangerous complete transmission failure while driving in the mountains near palm desert. This was Jan 4th. I was able to safely get my car to the VW in palm springs. I struggled to get a hold of the service department about getting a loaner care then came to find out there were none available after putting in time and effort. I had to rent a car out of my own pocket and wait for my repair to get done, until Jan 17th. I was finally able to get a loaner car (which was dirty inside and out) and had a noise everytime it ran over a bump, after waiting a couple hours in the lobby to get the keys. I think my car was ready to be returned to me March 1st but I was traveling so I wasn't available to pick it up until March 9th. There were some issues getting a part sourced. I understood all of that. Where they really dropped the ball is consistent communication. The dealer was supposed to reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses while they didn't have a car for me when mine is under warranty. I have to call and bother them and busy up the lines to get any updates on reimbursement. The only reason I heard my reimbursement was on its way is because iniated several calls in March and finally April 8th, a check was supposedly mailed out. I get no check in the mail (my mailing address is 2 hours away) so I have to follow up again and I was promised a quick 48 hour refund to my credit card, on April 22nd. Nothing has came of it and after more calls, I decided to go to the dealer on my way to Los Angeles and get it done in person. No check was given in person and I handed my card to the service department and waited around for a receipt. None could be given in a timely manner (i waited for about 20 minutes). I begrudgingly left without a receipt and emailed the service manager and still no response with a receipt. It's now May 4th and I haven't heard anything still. long story short, they can't be trusted with their communication and don't ever pay for anything out of pocket if you expect to get it back on time with them. There are other VW dealers that may be more trust worthy near by. I was promised a refund for the 4th time May 5th, still no proof of that being done.

onGabriel is the salesperson and client would want on their side. Always attentive, knowledgeable and honest (if he was unsure of an item in question, he was honest about it and took the time to secure the information). He listened and is the reason we came back and finally found the car we wanted

onUpon my arrival,I was there for repair on previous vehicle..decided to upgrade and received assistance fromSales assistant JOE whom was an angel through the whole experience but a little to stressed and dry to represent VOLKSWAGEN INDUSTRY...I was there for 5 hours dealing with Finance whom by the way treats her fellow employees like children as well as her customers..what was already a frustrating situation she took it upon herself to escalate the situation by taking her Tim e through three different contracts due to a missing part of Address supposidly and reversed payment on my CAPITOL 1 CARD To whom I had to phone in front of sales rep 3 x..as he received assistance after this had escalated to a 10. for the whole dept I received no apology..and just a send off with an envelope in my hand.Im very shocked and saddened with my experience and I purchased a 2022 TAOS...never will I go back to purchase from this dealer..I will take my VOLKSWAGEN elsewhere..and another customer walked out of finance stating she would never come back and do business with the finance dept again Gloria does not get STARS for her business ethnic or behavior in a professional place. Two Stars for Joe who needs more training Thank you.My the way service and business dept are Top Notch and Im sure its because of them you have return customers.Thank you.

onWe wanted to trade in our 2014 GTI for a new 2016 GTI. We called the Palm Springs dealership (where we bought the 2014 new) multiple times and no one called us back! We ended up going to and buying from Coachella Valley VW. We decided to use Palm Springs VW for service, however, because the Service Manager personally called us when the sales people did not. Now, after three visits to the Palm Springs service department and no resolution to a driving issue that carries big safety risks, we are totally disgusted and will never go back to VW Palm Springs. No one cares about your safety, the service department ignores your descriptions of malfunction and neglects to check anything-- for an issue that is well documented on the internet and easy to find. When I asked the service department what I am supposed to do when my car fails to drive on the highway, the service department person told me to "call volkswagen corporate". Seriously????? The absolute worst! Now I am left with a car that I cannot trust on the highway, and I drive 55 highway miles back and forth to work every day. You suck Palm Springs VW !!!!!!!

He was super friendly and very helpful. he took the time and explained things as they were happening and helped in every way possible i would recommend VW to everyone if they're looking for a car to purchase. i was greeted by multiple people as soon as i got there and it just was such an amazing experience. i will be going there again for my next vehicle!
