Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Let me start by saying that I love jeep and my grandfather opened the first jeep dealership in Arizona a very long time ago. My dad drives a jeep, my mom drives a jeep, we love them. BUT WE HATE THIS PLACE. Save yourself the money and the headache. They missed multiple engine issues during their inspection and did not recommend the correct items at each maintenance interval as outlined by the manufacturer. Furthermore, their customer service is beyond poor. If you currently have an appointment there, I recommend that you just cancel your appointment and find another shop. And if you ever do decide to make an appointment there (which you shouldn’t) be very sure it is not with Brad in the service department. The ultimate embodiment of a male ‘Karen.’ His is the slimiest of any service writer I have ever worked with and has an attitude the size of Alaska. Just as cold too. When this was brought to Mike’s (the manager) attention, he was barely apologetic and seemed more almost careless to my concerns. I wouldn’t expect much from this team. Lastly, you will save money by avoiding this place too considering how overpriced they are anyway. $280 for spark plugs, $280 for brake fluid, $100 for air filter, and I could go on. The shop by my house is going to do it ALL for under $400. Again, do yourself a favor and go to another shop. 2021 is all about supporting businesses that support their community, and this is not one of them.

Service & Parts Department One Star

I'm told by my Tempe Dodge service advisor that my part was ordered a month earlier than it actually was (called Dodge corporate and confirmed when the part was actually ordered), yet I was repeatedly still told the delay was ALL due to Dodge corporate. Had I not called a month after taking the vehicle into Tempe Dodge (to find out what the heck was taking so long), I believe the replacement Garmin GPS radio would still not be ordered. Zero checking on service back-orders, and zero honesty from the service and parts department regarding delays (once the customer discovers them). Weeks later I'm still waiting for the promised phone call I asked for (twice) from the General Manager. The only department I trust in getting accurate and timely information is the Sales department (which is great). Everyone can make mistakes, but lying about the mistake makes the problem far, far worse and completely destroys all credibility of any claim towards 5 Star Service.

What Express Lane

My RAM was taken into this location for a 'quick' oil change. The express lane that is advertise as taking 30 mins in the MOPAR video. Yet, in my case it took at least 1 hour and a half- for one oil change! Furthermore my oil change sensor was never turned off after the work was complete. I had to turn the sensor off myself. Since the oil change is covered in my maintenance plan I have nothing to say about the pricing. My review is mainly to show the lack of care shown in the Express lane work. Also, it may be crazy but I have become accustomed to (from my past dealer experiences) receiving paperwork (or the option of it) about the work completed on my truck before leaving. In the case I did not receive nothing. I understand the record is listed online with MOPAR but I would still like the option of a hard copy. To be fair in this review, I did receive new oil so the job was mostly done (other than the sensor). It may seem like a little thing but I did pay for this work when I bought my truck so I expect a complete job. Also, I should mention I only used this location because it was so close to me but I will not return to this dealer. Though it is out of my way Scottsdale Airpark, where I made my original purchase, seems much more streamlined and much more polite.

Do not buy from here or have your vehicle worked on here

I bought a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392 from them. It only had 11k miles on it and looked like new until I noticed the rear tires were already on the wear bars meaning they were past due to be replaced. Sales agreed to replace the tires. I went back and they replaced the tires but not only did they install the wrong tires but they severely gouged the wheels, had the wrong tires pressure in them and didn't install the valve caps. After spending 3/4 of a day leaving messages and emails service manager Mike Pertle agreed to replace the wheels and install the correct tires. After waiting several days for them to call when the new wheels and tires were in I had to call them. After they finally returned my messages they said they would only paint the wheels and replace the tires by some guy who repaints in the parking lot. I should not be penalized with a band aided car that was clearly their fault by letting someone untrained install tires ruining not one but 2 wheels and then not telling me. I had to show them the damage. I have made multiple calls and sent emails to the management who refuse to call back, specifically Mike Breyfogle the supposed general manager who they say will not talk to customers. This is the worse experience I've had with customer service and getting something fixed right. Do not buy a vehicle here and definitely do not use the service department

Enough is Enough

I called this morning to make an appointment for a recall on my truck. It started with a standard greeting and a promise to direct me to the right person. This began my journey around the dealership. First stop was a service person that asked what I needed. I said I wanted to set up an appointment for tomorrow for my truck. Without asking for what, he said "we're booked I'm sending you back to the operator." After a short wait, I was greeted again by the operator and I repeated what I was told. She said hold please and off I went to the next person. After a longer wait, I was greeted again by a service person asking what I needed. I started by saying I need to schedule an appointment and was cut short with "let me transfer you". Off I was again to another person. After an annoying wait, the line was picked up but not answered. I could here someone talking with another person about recent vacation events. I kept yelling hello until someone hung up the phone. I quickly called back and connected with the same operator. I was surprised she did not recognize my voice since I had been talking to her for the past 15 minutes. Again she asked how I could be helped. I responded that I was being passed around like a hot potato and all I wanted was to talk to some one about making an appointment tomorrow, but said I was told the service department was booked. She responded in a sarcastic tone,"If they say they are booked then they are booked!" I told her I get that, but no one had offered me an option to schedule an appointment on a different day. She said she could schedule an appointment and then give it to the service department so that they could call me back. I told her based on what I have been going through this morning, I was not assured that they would call me back. She asked what day I would like to make an appointment, but again, I need to talk to a service tech to see if the vehicle needed to be left over night or a few hours too perform the recall. She said she would transfer me and at that point I said that I would try another Dodge Service Department. I said that if I had no other option I would call back and try again then hung up. I understand people are busy and the availability of service is not always there. That is not my complaint. My heartache with this whole scenario was that at no point in time was I asked what I was making an appointment for or if I would like to schedule it later in the week. Twenty minutes of my time was dedicated to neglect by the service department. I was so agitated that I felt I had to write a review. This is not to let other people know how bad the service was, but so this can be read by the people that employ those I dealt with today (6-3-16). In closing I have moved on to another Dodge Service Department at another dealer. I was on the phone with them for 5 minutes and was told they were booked tomorrow, the information on two recalls for my truck and what would be the best time to bring in my truck to get it done. I am now scheduled to have both recalls completed and an oil change later this week. I will let my friends know how this new service department treats me and will not hesitate to tell them why I do not frequent the Tempe Autoplex Dodge service department anymore. FYI: I have purchased three vehicles from that dealership and up until today, had them all serviced there. I originally tolerated the decline in customer service provided, but enough is enough.

VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

I especially liked being greeted by (oh, I forgot her name Sarah?....) She remembered me from before and is extremely kind and helpful - exceptionally so!!!!!! The whole atmosphere is very welcoming to a woman who can be intimidated by a repair shop. The work was done promptly and having a coupon helped, whereas I would have shopped around elsewhere for a better deal. Have been away at other garages for a number of years as dealers are known to charge more - yet I am very pleased.

Choose Tempe Dealership!

Everyone is very kind and very helpful. I have been to the Gilbert dealership a few times because it is closer to my home and everytime the people there are rude and don't ever want to help me. It might be a little of a drive for me but I will go to the Tempe dealership everytime for my car needs!! Great service and great customer service!! So for that thank you! :)

Rip off - poor customer service

Beautiful new building - but there customer service commitment has gone down the drain. Dodge Caliber with bad transmission solenoid = Repair Cost $3,800.00 Chrysler does not provide parts except for a "Factory rebuilt transmision". This is 2 x the cost of a rebuilt transmission anywhere else. Dealer installed transmission, "Check engine light" came on on the way home. Dealer stated not to worry about it (?) SERIOUSLY....Next day I noticed that the RPMs stayed between 2,000 and 4,000 RPM. Returned car to dealer. Took dealer 2 days to figure out that they did not reprogram the computer to talk to the transmission. Also, the gas tank was totally dry when I picked vehicle up from dealer, due to an "extended test drive". After a long wait, one of the service guys put some gas into my car, so I could get to a gas station. I will definitely NOT recommend this dealer to anyone or ever purchase another dodge vehicle EVER.
