Nick was very laid back and easy to deal with. If your looking for a Mazda, go see him! We are very happy with our car and took a lot of test drives to figure out which fit us best, he had no issues at all with us taking out time.

Over the years I've purchased 6 and leased 2 Mazdas from LJM working with several of their sales people and some of them multiple times. I've always gotten great pricing and service. While at this point they know me pretty well, I can recall my first experience purchasing a car from them being easy and stress free. I paid what I wanted to pay and wasn't forced to add any unnecessary "protection plans" or other dealer value adds. If you purchase from LJM ask for Tim Hack and he'll take care of you.

Recently purchased the 2016 Mazda CX-3 from Lee Johnson. We had a great buying experience with Josh White who patiently helped us with all our queries and explained all what we needed to know. We have recently relocated to the US and this was our first car purchase here in the US. Josh with his friendly demeanor was extremely helpful throughout the process right from answering questions about the car to explaining the finance/loan procedure. We love our new car and would definitely recommend asking for Josh if you go to Lee Johnson to buy your car.

How do you know LJM sales people are lying to you

You guessed it, their mouths are moving. I won't name names because I think they are all trained the same and LJM owners condone the sleazy sales tactics. I got a quote on a 2015 Mazda 3 on edmunds from LJM that matched KBB fair price (lie#1). I was contacted by the sales guy and setup up an appointment to see the quoted VIN. I got there two hours later, on a nice sunny Tuesday afternoon. Not a single sole around in the car lot or showroom. And you guessed it, the quoted VIN was SOLD. Really! (lie#2) The one they showed me of course had more expensive options and no discounts (Lie#3). They actually fabricated a white board (lie#4) with cars sold that day (two of them) and one was the VIN they quoted through Edmunds, Right! I test drove the more expensive M3, then asked if they had any 2016s, the sales guy said they wont' get any 16 for couple of months (lie#5). 16s had been around for months, they wanted to get rid of the 15 models. At this point I'm checking my clothing and my forehead for a sign that said "Here is Stupid." I liked the CX-5s so I test drove one, sales guys said oh those are more expensive we make less on those (lie#6) and showed me fabricated ledgers with made up invoice and MSRP prices (lie#7). Even stupid people know there is more profit margin in a more expensive item than a cheaper one. At this point I was done and left, but it didn't end there. While I was driving home contemplating why these people think everyone that walks in their door is stupid I forgot to take my drivers license back, which the salesman intentionally held on to (Lie#8). I had to go back the next day to get it. Why in the world they think that cheap tactic works and I would actually go back and buy a car from them is beyond belief. In the age of cell phones, internet, edmunds, KBB and on-line reviews I expected some high tech sales tactics, instead I got a sleazy salesmen with outdated tactics that probably was used to sell Model Ts. I can only assume that edmunds.com keeps these dealerships on their website because there are no better dealerships. But I can guarantee that the five star ratings you will see here for Lee Johnson Mazda are insider people and not real people. They not only lie to you in emails, text and to your face, they actually fabricate documentation to lie to you. Writing five star reviews for themselves, that's child's play.

Waste of time

Using Edmonds' quote service, I was contacted by Angelo at Lee Johnson. I told him I am interested in receiving a quote for the Touring and Grand Touring CX-5. I provided three exterior colors and the packages I want. I also inquired about the current bonus cash on trade ins. He told me to provide him with a specific car and suggested I bring my trade in for appraisal so I can test drive the CX-5. I provided him with TWO VINs from Lee Johnson and asked him again for a quote. I wanted to secure a figure before committing to one particular dealership. His response: That's not how it work here. By from them. So after multiple emails, I didn't even receive a quote for MSRP! If Lee Johnson does not provide quotes to potential customer's via email, I suggest that they are removed as a "Premier Dealer" from Edmonds.com. I have bought multiple cars in my lifetime and this was by far the rudest of them all. At least other salespeople act nice in order to screw you over. Angelo is just straight up rude and tactless.

Stereotypical Sleazy Car Salesman

Worst car buying experience of my life. First off, I should have walked away when Josh W. refused to name an actual price. Instead he used the usual generalities like "We'll beat any other offer..." That in actuality turned out to be one single dollar (much less than the tax differential). The rest came after they had my money. Turns out the accessories I purchased with my new car were piled in the trunk instead of installed on the car. When I asked why, I was fed a line of BS by Josh W. that "It's Mazda policy that installation is not included in the cost of the accessories." Who pays the money for a new car and expects to get "assembly not included"?! I will NEVER be returning to this dealership. If I can prevent even one person from learning the hard way, like I did, I'll consider it time well spent.

Mazda CX5 - Paige Allodi

I went in to check out the mazda CX 5 just to "browse" one day and Tim was great. He wasn't pushy at all and being a mazda CX5 owner he was very knowledgable about the car and all that it had to offer. We kept in contact for several weeks and he let me know of cars that were available that matched my "wish list" . I went in several weeks later ready to make a purchase and Tim was there every step of the way. He gave us a fantastic price & I walked away with everything I hoped for. The car is perfect for my both my job as a Project Manager (great for hauling big pieces whether it be furniture or construction materials) and for my personal life too (I live in the city and never have issues parking or fitting in compact spaces). It's been a great experience and I'm glad I was able to purchase with Lee Johnson.

Excellent no pressure sales and Customer service

After a month or more of narrowing down my search for a CUV I settled on the Mazda CX-5. After sending an initial email inquiry to Lee Johnson Mazda I met with Tim H., the internet sales manager. I went in for a closer look and test drive. I explained I was still looking and hadn't made up my mind which CUV I would eventually settle on. Tim was very helpful and informative and offered a no pressure approach. In the end I had emailed and talked on the phone with Tim a several times and stopped in twice more including a second test drive as I went through the process of deciding. I really appreciated the helpfulness and lack of any pressure to decide or even buy from them, which I ultimately did in part because of this approach. I even got all the brochures and contracts for services and add-ons they would offer during the financing stage of the deal (including all of their asking prices for these) should I decide to purchase from them so I could thoroughly look it all over a head of time and know what I wanted or didn’t and gave me time to research and prepare to negotiate. Tim was nothing but patient with me as I was certainly taking my time and asking all sort of questions over a period of time (a month or so) and he also did some looking around for me trying to find exactly which CX-5 I wanted as I narrowed down my choices and options. In the end I decided to upgrade my choice to one a bit more loaded that they had on the lot. I again did a lot of research through KBB, Edmunds, and Consumer reports and I definitely got a good deal on the CX-5, a fair trade for my 10+ year old Tacoma and since the purchase I've received continued support form Tim and the folks at Lee Johnson, I found a very small ding in the paint on the hood just below the windshield and he has been nothing but helpful and cooperative in getting me taken care of. The CX-5 is a blast to drive and I know I’ll enjoy having this car for many years to come. I will be bringing my new car there for all its service appointments and when it comes time to upgrade my wife’s car in 2-3 years Lee Johnson Mazda will be at the top of our list. I would recommend Lee Johnson Mazda and their internet sales manager Tim H. to anyone looking to purchase a new car with a business that offers great customer service.

I`ve bough CX-5 on black Friday evening. Great car! I was able to negotiate fair price from KBB event couple tens lower. So don`t hesitate to bargain with them and you will receive great Mazda car for fair price and even couple of bonuses like free car washes etc. Guy who sold me a car was very polite and reasonable to my arguments.

Terrible Dealer

I dealt with many dealers in the past and this one is the worst. When I entered the place, it looked like a rundown business. Employees were busy watching TV and finally someone noticed me. I presented my interest in buying Mazda5. I drove a similar car before; hence, we passed the test drive jumping into the deal. As expected, the price went more than KBB book suggested value with $1200. I told the sales person about my expectation. He took it to his manager. His manager came and asked me about my current job title. He move out from negotiating the car price and started estimating how much I make per year and how this difference wouldn't impact me. Maybe this approach work with some customers but not me.

2014 Mazda CX-5 Purchase

Lee Johnson was an excellent place to purchase a car. We tred.com to initially test the car at our home and they connected us with Lee Johnson. Since we had already been to many other Mazda dealers we wanted to see what their price was. I was put in contact with Nick from their internet sales department. He was very professional and provided me with exactly the information I was looking for. I did not encounter any pressure to buy and it was a very comfortable environment. I was given a few purchase options based on the inventory they had and other possibilities if those didn't work. Ultimately, Nick was able to find me the exact car I wanted. He even steered me toward a different option and showed me the benefits of going a different route. I was quite pleased. Customer service is definitely Lee Johnson's number one priority and it was clear during the entire process. After purchasing the car, the followed up with me to make sure I was happy and to offer any assistance if there were questions I had. Another bonus with Lee Johnson is free car washes for the entire time I own the car. This was a nice extra. Overall, I would recommend buying from Lee Johnson. I definitely plan to buy my next car there.
