As our wait ticked over to the four hour mark, I was ready to have Dominos deliver at the dealership. The end of this deal almost made the purchase not worth it. David Dubey, our salesman, was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He did not pressure us at any point, and even when we test drove the vehicle, he did not ask for the usual pound of flesh. He was phenomenal to work with. Once we moved down the complex to the Toyota dealership, the experience became painful. I completely understand that it can take time to get the best deal possible on financing, but communication is still key. If the finance manager, Chris, had come out and talked to us every 45 minutes to an hour and given us a status report, we could have tolerated the wait. He did not, though, and only after I made it obvious we were growing impatient did he give us any information. And then it was only that they were waiting on a quote from our credit union. That was at the three-hour wait mark. Bergstom's has fresh cookies and soda available, but that did little to assuage the irritating wait. That's too bad. David Dubey gets Five Stars for the excellent job on the sale of the vehicle. The financing process ruined the experience, though, pulling down the overall review of our experience to Three Stars. Don't let our 3-Star review deter you from talking to David about your next vehicle.
