THANK YOU FAITH FOR REACHING OUT.

by Amarie on 01/23/2023

Thank God for people like Faith, who reach out to customers and listen to their side of the situation and try to figure out a way to make things right. Rosen is so lucky to have you on their team. I appreciate your understanding. and I want people to know that I understand that one person doesn't make a company bad. it just adds to the frustration. of whatever the situation is. looking forward to giving Rosen another chance at obtaining my business. and if I didn't mention it before, thank you to the wonderful woman in the service department for acknowledging me and helping me get help.

Failure to communicate/ greet/ inform

by Amarie on 01/20/2023

where do I begin, when first arrived at the dealership and went to the service center, people were busy with customers, then i had to go back outside, came back in, now theirs 5-6 people in the area, no one looked at me, said good morning, someone will be with you, are you being helped? after standing there a while, finally the woman in the service department, asked me if I was being helped, NOPE! no mam, I said wow, no one even bothered to look up or even ask. she assisted but had to turn me over to Chris. well fast forward: it took them a little less than a week to get it in the service center. the next day i heard from Chris. he told me that in order for the to determine what the problem is with my vehicle they would have to tear apart the engine. which cost 2,100. if it's a warranty issue, i don't have to pay. if it's not a warranty issue, i get my vehicle back without it being put back together. like huh? another dealership did the head gasket. and he said if it's an issue with the work they did, they could come back and say, well "how do we know it's something we did". and he said if it is a covered warranty issue, that he has been there a long time. and has seen it where the warranty company with want to see the maintenance records and fight it. basically, Chris was trying really hard to keep me from using them to do the repairs. i called him back a couple times. because he successfully convinced me not to use kia, so i had to set up a tow. to get it back to the original dealership. Chris had my number, i called the service center back a couple times, told them i had a tow truck coming. made sure they could just pick up the keys, and then is get a call from the tow truck driver, why? because I had a bill. at no point did Chris or anyone else tell me there was a charge, or i would have taken care of it ahead of time. 199.00 for what, I was told you couldn't determine what was wrong with it unless you dismantled the motor. why am I getting charged. I'm not a mechanic, but come from a mechanic family, doing a diagnostic with the way the vehicle was running was pointless. and to charge almost 200.00 taking advantage of a bad situation is how you guys operate. I hate I ever had it towed to you guys. the lack of communication is crazy, you had my number to inform me. I'm very disappointed and will do my best to let everyone know exactly how you operate. if you don't have skilled enough mechanics then say that. if you don't have the available time to do a job. and give people information in advance. communicate more, acknowledge your customers.

Consistent, patient, reliable

by Harley on 05/21/2019

I know I'm neurotic about my car, but staff is always so helpful and patient, willing to take the time to hear my concerns and explain the details of how my car works .

Spot on customer service

by Janine on 04/17/2019

I purchased my Kia Soul just over one year ago and have used Rosen Kia for all my service needs. They have always been fast, friendly and reliable. Today they proved they are also attentive and understand what customer service is. I had an issue and sent an email to let them know I was unhappy with what had happened. Faith from Rosen reached out to me to make things right. More importantly she did not drop the issue when I failed to return her call. She reached out a second time making sure my issue was addressed. They have earned all my future business, from service to sales. They really do live by the motto that you are part of the Kia family. Thank you Faith and thank you Mr Rosen! - Janine

Beware

by leslie11609 on 01/27/2019

Went to Rosen Kia to lease a car to basically drive 3 miles to work and back on a daily basis. After the lease was signed, everything broke loose. Never before in my history of purchasing cars have I been asked to produce my passport and my social security card in addition to my driver's license which is a Real-ID driver's license. Granted, I have an accent and was born in a foreign county, but I am a naturalized US citizen. Is this the manner in which people with accents are treated at Rosen? After I showed my "outrage" about the request for my passport, and after I made it known that I considered the request discriminatory, the issue (previously so necessary) went mute, and the Rosen dealer seemed to no longer need my social security card or my passport. Something is fishy with this dealership, and I see that most others on here rate this dealership as substandard.

Detailing

by Detailing on 03/21/2018

Highly recommend Kevin Carpenter. He is very helpful with anything you need. Kevin was able to help me get in to get a big scratch out of my car door. Was only there for a max 10 minutes and was very happy with the service!

Unethical and Horrible Business Practices

by Kristen on 03/12/2018

Agreed on a lease price for a new car. At the very last minute when signing the paperwork with the finance manager he changed the deal and made it sound like a much better deal. At this point it was after hours and i was tired. I trusted him that it made sense. At NO point did he turn his computer to show me the numbers or go over the lease in any detail what-so-ever. All he did was rapidly throw the paperwork in front of me and say sign here here and here. It happened so fast and they acted like they were doing me this big favor by staying late that i just signed where he said. He made sure to keep talking about sports and other stuff so that i would be distracted and not notice. I have since finally sat down and really looked at what i signed...i am paying the full sticker price of the car for just a 3year lease. The car was somehow marked up by 28K over sticker. No idea what happened or how this is allowed. So now im on the hook for an exorbant amount of money. Went back to talk to them today and no one cared. I was point blank told their job is to make money and they made a lot of money off of me. Im stuck. They didnt try to make it right in any way and blantetly told me they dont care if im upset or whatever. Finance manager said he told me the bare minimum of information on the lease paperwork that he is required by law to discuss. Really shady and unethical to do to people. Yes its my fault for not reading every line of what i was signing but he never gave me a chance and rushed me through the whole process. He knew what he was doing was wrong and not at all what we agreed on. Their policy of 100% customer satisfaction is a joke. When i told them i would be posting a negative review he said i don’t care, doesn’t bother me personally at all. I dont know any other businesses that you can blatently screw people over and get away with it. Its sad because i really love the car but now i don’t even want to look at it or have anything to do with it because of how everything went down.

Very positive car buying experience

by NicoletteA on 05/23/2017

For the last year I have been entertaining the idea of a new vehicle, but the idea of visiting a dealership to actually negotiate a sale was not something I was looking forward to. I first did my research online and eventually narrowed my search down to three different brands of mid size SUV's. My plan was to visit three different dealerships and hopefully make a decision within one week. The first dealership I visited was Rosen Kia in Milwaukee and I was very pleasantly surprised by the positive (and actually enjoyable) experience I had there. My salesperson was David Karpinski and he truly was a pleasure to deal with....friendly, knowledgeable and very reasonable....without a trace of pushiness. During the process, David was always attentive and quick to respond to my emails and texts. I was extremely happy with the discounts that were extended to me towards the vehicle I was interested in and the amount I received for my trade was far superior to that offered by any of the other dealerships I was considering. Ultimately, I purchased a Kia Sorento, which I am totally thrilled with. David was a breeze to work with regarding the options and accessories I wanted and any minor issues that arose were quickly resolved. I was also very impressed with the Rosen Dealership itself. The facility is topnotch....very clean, organized and welcoming. I feel my sales experience with David Karpinski at Kia Rosen was indeed worthy of Five Stars.

Once was plenty.

by railfan_210 on 10/12/2013

To the positive, at the onset the salesperson was down to earth, friendly, not pushy. Brought out the car for my test drive, handed over the keys and said to take my time, like 15-20 minutes. Reviews on Google maps and Angie's list praised Rosen Kia. When I sat down in the finance office, suddenly the price the salesperson had committed to increased by thousands. I wanted time to think about the new terms, and said I would come back the next day. But they kept talking and talking and probing and questioning and trying to explain what I said I understood, but I said I just needed time to think about. The "conversation" went around and around and around. Meanwhile, back when I thought they were honoring their initial, lower quote, I'd signed the title to my trade-in, and they had it. And weren't handing it over. After at least 30 minutes, what felt like hours, I was exhausted. My head pounded. I had two options. One was to do something incredibly rude--grab the folder of papers that was under the finance person's hand, dig out my title, and walk out. Two, I could sign. Then they conceded a few hundred dollars. My mind lurched and I couldn't resist a way out of that office, I could sign and leave, I'd have a new car, I'd be done with car shopping, I wouldn't have to deal with any more salespeople or finance people. Maybe this was a good deal, maybe I didn't need to think about it. I felt sick to my stomach. As I left her office, the finance person refused to look at me, much less shake my hand. She kept staring at her computer. Finally, I was in the new car, ready to drive away, and the salesperson stood in the open door. My exit required backing up, so he blocked my way. He asked if I was happy and if I could be counted on to give all 10s in an upcoming satisfaction survey from Kia. Because, if I took off any points because of the finance person, it would penalize him, too. Again feeling I had no way out, I assured him repeatedly that yes, I was happy, I just wasn't acting happy because I was tired. I felt like I was being kicked in the rear, then being forced to genuinely act like I was happy about it, lest I get more kicking. Since then, I've received a call from "Faith," asking if "we" can count on me to give all 10s in an upcoming survey. I said I was waiting on another call, which I was, but she kept talking so I said I had to go and hung up. I haven't received a survey from Kia or from the dealership, just this one from Edmunds.com. Thank you for listening, and I wish you the best in your car buying experience.

Be careful!

by 21heyyou on 01/09/2013

They are very sneaky in their practices. Make sure you buy the car you want to buy, not the car they want to sell you. They "throw in" something called the total package, (which you pay for, for me $299!) For that kind of money I expect explanations of how it all works. Good luck with that! Make sure you do your financing FIRST, not last, like they force you into doing.
