We were extremely pleased with the attention given to our appointment which was for an oil change,. While the car was there, they called and let us know that our Cabin Filter need to be changed and asked if we would want that done!. We were appreciative of their attention to the basic needs of our car. Over the top customer care and service! Thanks Keyes!

Just a oil change

by Anthony on 04/24/2023

Just an oil change but also noticed I had a small oil leak when I took car out of storage. I told this to the service department while getting the oil change and they dug into the issue for me! Just overall good experience.

Great customer service & technical expertise

by Mr Dave on 06/05/2018

I feared my issue may be sticky to resolve given the difficulty with the diagnosis but the technician worked his way through it and completely solved the problem. John also facilitated the work in a low-stress manner given the circumstances, provided a great loaner vehicle, and took care of the "paperwork" side of things quickly so I could carry on with my day.

Go here if you want to be fleeced

by JAN71866 on 03/20/2018

Completely dissatisfied by the people at Keyes Chevrolet in Menomonie, Wisconsin - from the salesman who sold us our equinox, to its owner, to its service team. We purchased a used 2012 Equinox XLT with 65,000 miles on it. We found out after we passed both a 100,000 and a 120,000 mile service warranty extension that we had issues with our vehicle that the dealership should and would have been aware of, not to mention that the service department had the actual service memos on file. Long story short, we paid them $1500 for service to our vehicle and ultimately we had to get a new engine due to a complete lack of competence by this service department. After we asked them to check why we had high oil consumption (Due to bad piston rings that this year's model and the two prior years as well we found out later) we were told it was "normal". Chevy had issues with the 2010 - 2012 models of equinox for high oil consumption, but no one, sales or service, would tell us that. We didn't get service memos until after we had already passed the 120,000-mile cut off. Later, we had our engine blow its oil due to a frozen PVC Orifice, which a service memo was sent out to in January 2016 (special coverage adjustment 14882). We were well past the 120,000 allowed for this repair when we received to notification. The service team did a cleaning out of the intake, but again, we blew our oil out the main seal, which required more extensive repairs to clean out the PVC orifice and ultimately cost us $1500. We put about 3000 miles on the vehicle, adding more than 4 quarts of oil after this 'fix' and when we finally had to turn it over to them for diagnostics, they old us there was only about 1 quart of oil in the vehicle. That's when the laid the news on us that they could replace the piston rings and timing chain for around $2500 or put in a new GM engine for about $5000.My wife and I had had enough. We contacted a local repair shop and received a quote for a 2014 motor with 58,000 mile on it for $2200 - less than they offered to replace the piston rings and timing chain. I can't stress enough, don't take your vehicles here. They don't do the diligence that should be done to see if there are open issues from GM, that would affect your model/year of vehicle. They don't do repairs as they should, as the guy at the current shop said they should have done with this vehicle, and they over charge their customers.

New car purchase

by PJ18Equinox on 01/26/2018

Sales people were accommodating and respectful as to my questions and concerns. Josh kept in close contact during the process and was thorough with his explanations of vehicle features and additional products. His selling technique was more of educating me on products and letting me decide what I needed rather than 'pushing' me into a purchase. Great experience overall.

bait and switch

by nokeyesfan on 05/20/2015

Salesman pushed the Memorial Day sale save $500 today. When we were at home looking at contract by ourselves the $500 had not been deducted. We returned to the dealership.. When we asked for this correction we were told it did not cover the new Equinox. We called GM and they said dealership offered a car wash and oil change to make up for this. The salesman said he had in fact pushed the $500 sale for the Equinox when asked by the dealership.

Took our CTS Cadilac in to Keyes for servicing, running rough. They replaced the fuel filter $100 ++ Still running bad, brought the car back, they cleaned my valves and fuel tray $500. When I picked up the car it was running real bad with loud engines noises. Now they wanted $2,300 to replace timing chains and tensioners ? I could not believe this was happening to us. I called two other cadilac dealers and both said something is not right, but one jokingly asked if there was any oil in my car. I went to check the oil and there was not one drop of oil on that stick. Not one drop ! I could not believe my eyes. The car took four quartz of oil and it runs great. Can you believe this !
