We purchased a new 2023 Camry Hybrid. This was the fifth vehicle we have purchased from Smart Motors since 2004. Rodney Potter has been our sales person for this and our previous purchase in 2013. Rodney kept us informed as to the status of our order that took six months. We appreciated the time Rodney spent with us review the features of the car when we took delivery. We have always been happy with Smart Motors and would highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful car purchasing experience with Gary F and Smart Motors used cars. He was very friendly, patient, kind, knowledgeable, honest, no pressure sales person and listened to what I needed in a car. He was also kind enough to stay late to accommodate my schedule to be able to walk through the vehicle details in full, so I had a the best understanding of how my new vehicle worked. I honestly believe the main reason I bought this car was because of his salesmanship and friendly personality. I would 100% recommend him to friends and family looks for a great salesperson. This was by far the best experience I ever had buying a car.

I flew in from out of state to purchase a truck from Smart Motors Toyota, the first time I ever did something like that, and the whole experience with this dealership went extremely well. My salesperson, Austin, was the best car salesperson I have ever dealt with. He was very honest, knowledgeable, and very helpful with the whole process. I flew into Milwaukee and the dealership had Austin drive from Madison to pick me up at the airport. Austin even took the time to help me install a bed cover for about an hour on my truck that I bought somewhere else. And everyone else I dealt with from sales, financing, and the service department were all very courteous and helpful. I started out a bit worried about making such a purchase out of state but Smart Motors Toyota made the whole process smooth and worry free.

The experience was top notch from start to finish . Awesome staff and very knowledgeable. They treated me very very fair on my trade to new vehicle purchase. Exceeded my expectations

I have bought over a million dollars worth of vehicles in my lifetime, new, used and in between. They did not play games and Iwhen I said I didn’t want extended warranties, service contracts or “stuff” (the new term is environmental protection like paint sealer and hemorrhoid preventer) . They didn’t try a hard sell.

After visiting a different Toyota dealer who wanted to sell us a "Certified" used 2018 RAV4 with worn tires, at a price roughly $2,500 ABOVE market value, we visited Smart Motors. The salesperson at Smart listened well, was friendly, polite, well informed, and put us in a NEW 2021 RAV4 HYBRID, for only slightly more than the other dealer wanted to charge for a three-year old car! We will always buy our cars at Smart Motors. We also have very good experience with the Service Department at Smart Motors. Highly recommended.

The car buying process is made simple at Smart Toyota due to their staff working in a partnership with me to find what I was looking for. Cody was great as my sales contact, he was able to outline the steps, process, and timing and was readily available to answer my numerous questions. There was no pressure and it truly was an easy process. The dealership is accommodating, clean, well lit, and the customer service is unmatched...we were greeted a the door and did not have to wait long at all to complete the paperwork. Cody was thorough in expelling all of the features of the new 4Runner we purchased. I highly recommend Smart Toyota in Madison if you are looking for a Toyota. I made the trek up there from Illinois as the local teams her were out of stock or less accommodating.

I have purchased almost 20 cars in my life. It can be and has been a very stressful experience with some of my purchases. I recently purchased a new 2021 Toyota Venza at Smart Motors in Madison, Wisconsin. It was a stress free experience. My sale person was not pushy or put pressure on me to buy that day. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and spent a fair amount of time with me answering all my numerous questions. I had previously done my home work on the car and knew what I was looking for. I was happy with my negotiated price of the new car and my trade in amount. Because of my excellent experience with Smart Motors, I thought I would share it with other prospective buyer.

We have purchased a number of cars from Smart Toyota over the last few years. We bought a Camry XLE Hybrid (my third Camry) from Beth. My last was a 2007 and many updates have been made since then. We purchased a van through Al Franklin, he was informative and not pushy at all. He was fine with us looking vans from 10,000 to 40,000 and helped us settle on the perfect van in the mid-twenties. He didn’t seem to pressure us into any vehicle, and asked questions that helped us identify what we needed. He was upfront with us and we felt we got a vary fair price. They were also very fair with our trade in offer!

In the time of Covid we had scheduled appointments at four different dealerships to test drive new suv's. At two of them we waited outside in the cold for 30 minutes before we could drive a car. Even though I was heavily leaning toward one of them in advance this experience killed the chance of any sale. At Smart Motors the cars we wanted to drive were waiting for us - no delay at all. The salesperson was attuned to our information style and did not slow us down with needless questions or canned sales pitches. Our attitude toward the salesperson definitely transferred to the brand. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed driving their new Venza and we ended up buying it two days later even though a hybrid was not even in my consideration set. I managed to somehow turn off the driver seat memory during set up, drove into service without an appointment, and 20 minutes later left with it working again. Very happy with the car and the dealership.
