Service....not so much

onI scheduled service for my Jaguar F-Pace to replace the window control panel, do an oil change, and replace the brake pads. Upon arrival I also explained that I wanted options for fixing a paint blemish on the front bumper. When I made my service appointment I requested a loaner if possible but understood it might just be a shuttle ride. Upon arrival they acknowledged my requests and told me no loaner was available, which I understood. They did not however ask me when I would need to be picked up by or suggest an eta for repairs. Roughly 8 hours later just shortly before service closed I received a voicemail from service asking to touch base on my car. When I finished a work meeting roughly 45 minutes later I attempted to return the call but the phone only rang indefinitely with no voicemail. It was at that point that I realized service was closed even though the dealer was still open, that no one could talk about my car, and I also didn't have a return shuttle ride. I did not realize I had a deadline of 6pm and no one ever said the time or asked about the return shuttle. I ended up taking an uber home. Right away the next morning I called service, explained that I needed to touch base on my car to find out the info I didn't get the prior day. I was promptly told my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I took another uber to the dealership as no shuttle was offered this time. Upon arrival I learned that only the oil change had been completed across the 8 hours they had the vehicle the prior day. The brakes had not been done as requested- guessing they wanted permission, which I would have given. I additionally learned the window had not been addressed and a follow up appointment would be needed when the part arrived. No eta was provided and no subsequent appointment was suggested. I also found that the paint issue had been ignored and my service report did not mention it at all. I had basically just paid for another uber to pickup a vehicle they said was ready, even though the work had not been completed as planned. All of this happened even though I called asking for the status and to touch base. It would have been helpful to have been asked about the brakes when I called so that service could have happened as I requested, it would have been nice if they hadn't ignored my question about the paint options, and further providing me with an eta for the window control would have also been nice. After getting to my car now extremely annoyed I also realized that the service department doesn't provide a car wash with service- even though my prior vehicle (a Toyota) always came with one when a service was purchased. I guess my expectations should have been lower. At this point, I have my Jaguar- 3 of the 4 services were not completed and I have no eta on the window control part. I regret my visit to this location, I regret having not asked about my options for a ride home the prior day when the 8 hour long oil change happened, and I regret having believed purchasing a higher end vehicle meant a higher end service experience. I have booked the brake pad replacement at another establishment and I guess I will just wait until I hear from the dealer about the part arrival. I assume the paint issue is also mine to solve elsewhere. I am angry, frustrated, and just plain disappointed. Avoid taking your car here at all costs.

onOrdering was easy. The wait was more difficult but my salesman helped by giving me the tracking info for the very vessel my Defender was loaded on as it crossed the pond. Fun stuff. It arrived exactly on time. The orientation/explanation was done by a second salesman which went smoothly. After the sale, about 150 miles in, my Defender was making a terrible screeching noise at the front driver’s side wheel. I sent a text to the salesman, who then contacted a tech (this was Saturday at 4:45) and then replied with the likely source and a fix. So grateful. No issues since and I’m really enjoying it.

Exceptional Service

onI was relocating from Minneapolis to a Lexington, KY and went off the road. Volvo towed me to Madison and Fields was able to get me in immediately and get my car repaired right away and get me back on the road! Exceptional service and communication! During a very stressful time in my life I was so relieved to have such a great experience with me vehicle repairs and cannot thank the team at Fields enough!

He resolved all of my concerns about the vehicle prior to purchasing. The team put customer service front and center. This dealership was not in my state, and I would make the 8 hour round trip again to purchase with them.

30,000 Mile Service

onMy service advisor was Avery. He rocks. Always goes above and beyond to take care of you as a customer. I brought my car in for scheduled service. Also, had my rotors checked. It seemed premature that these would be causing a problem this time. I asked him to check on my warranty. He did so and saved me 700.00. Also, I did not get charged for a tire rotation because the mechanic forgot to do it after the brake work. He acknowledged my patience and the length of time I had to wait. Kudos to Avery.. Everyone should learn from him

Heat went out

onMy S-Type had the heat go out on the driver's side. I took it into Field's Jaguar and Jason was a big help in getting the car repaired. He told what exactly needed to be done, and possible options if that wasn't problem they diagnosed. It was done in a timely fashion and I have heat again, so no cold winter for my, now I can enjoy my Jaguar on the cold winter mornings thanks to Jason and Field's Jaguar.

Happy new Volvo owners

onWe have had our Volvo for nearly a week, too soon to know yet how it will stand the test of time. However, we were very impressed with the new financial manager, and his expertise and willingness to work with us. Our salesperson has been attentive to all our questions, and patient as we learn how the accessories work. If all unfolds as we hope we will be return customers to buy another Volvo.
