Once again an easy buy

Came in Saturday the 23 March 2019 looking for a car for transportation only. My sales rep, Randy Humphrey was easy going, knew what I wanted, didn’t try to get me an upgraded model. Within two hours we had a deal, shook hands put some money down and came back the following Monday at scheduled time and car was ready. Took less than an hour to sign paperwork and was out of there with a new car. This is our 3rd Subaru, don’t think we will buy another make of car and will always buy from Don Miller. ~ Nick Nicoles

This is my first Subaru. I had driven Honda's for 30 years, but they no longer offer cars that meet my needs. The Forester is just what I was looking for. Safety features was my first requirement and Forester is the best that is offered in this price point. Walking into the showroom I was nervous as to whether I could connect up with a sales person that I could trust. Fortunately, I met up with Michael whom I had actually known for many years and had had great service in his previous business endeavor. Michael was the key to a very pleasant sales process and I feel like I have an advocate if anything should go wrong with my Forester. I don't anticipate this happening. This car seems really solid.

A Positive Car Buying Experience

Thanks to TJ Kelly for his patience and thorough knowledge of Subaru cars as I debated options (new car or used? what size? what features? essential vs non-essential items?). I drove 2 or 3 different Subarus (among others), and fell in love with the Crosstrek SUV. TJ managed to find one with everything on my wish list up in Eau Claire and have it brought down to Madison. Thanks to Kathy Kay as well for navigating the paperwork jungle and making it seem easy, at least for me. I love my new Subaru!

I had a bless buying two cars not both at once but at different times this year, about five months apart between each vehicle. All the staff are awesome and friendly like you feel almost like dealing with family. One salesman though that I directly worked with and bought both cars goes by the name Riddle, Dennis. This dude is amazing, quick, full of joy super helpful, and fun to be around. Thanks Dennis!

My wife and I were interested in buying a new small suv. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted but were hoping to find a salesperson who could give us a complete comparison of some cars we were interested in. T J Kelly convinced us that the Forester was the one that best fit our needs. It was nice that he had both the knowledge and patience to help us through the process of buying our new 2018 Forester. Great Buying Experience with TJ Kelly and Steve for Finance

My husband and I did our homework and knew we wanted to replace our old Forester with either a newer-used Forester or a newer-used Outback. We walked in the door, and TJ Kelly helped us make the choice of a 2017 used Outback, which we are very pleased with. TJ was personable and very knowledgeable. He quickly tuned in to what is important to us in choosing a car. My husband is an environmental engineer, and had many technical questions, which TJ answered clearly and completely. We were surprised to find ourselves making a car selection more quickly and easily than we have in the past. TJ also did a great job of getting us up to speed on the new features our Outback employees and gave my husband a comprehensive tour under the hood. Steve Weyhrich, was very friendly and helpful with the financing details and explained the warranty options in great detail to help us make the decision best for us. Buying a new car is a major purchase and can be stressful, but it was stress-free working with these two Don Miller staff members. I hope they will still be there when we have to replace our other car. We would be glad to work with them again.

I test drove 5 vehicles from different dealers we well as non-subaru cars at Don Miller. The salesman, Kyle, was not pushy and was honest with pricing. He even found a car with everything my husband and I wanted for a slightly cheaper price. I recommend all the staff at this dealership. Follow up calls and questions that I had were also very helpful as I learned more about the car. We got an Impreza hatchback manual. Love it!

Felt like I was with family

I bought my Subaru Impreza from Don Miller Subaru West. We had been other places, but this place made us feel like we were with family. Our salesman, Mike Zweifel was so knowledgable and we felt like he was helping us to find the car that was best for us, and not just trying to sell the car he wanted us to buy. He helped us evaluate what "we" wanted & helped us navigate thru all the options with our needs in mind. Buying a car can be so overwhelming, and Mike made it so easy. We trusted him fully, and knew he cared about us. The owner came over & answered some questions and talked to us like he had known us all of his life. Once we made the decision to buy, then the Finance manager Kathy Kreutzer helped us with all of the finance decision. She explained all the differences in warranties and service agreements. She has an amazing sense of humor and helped us be at ease during the process. I just cannot say enough what a wonderful experience it was, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car. They care about customer satisfaction and it really shows.

Great Experience with Don Miller West Dealership (Madison, WI)!

My wife and I live in a small town in rural WI about 90 miles from Madison. We had been looking for used Subaru Outbacks with limited success finding a basic level Outback. I noticed an online ad for a new 2015 Outback 2.5i, the kind we wanted with minimal bells and whistles. I sent a message expressing interest in the car and got an very quick reply from Eric Orvold (Don Miller's internet specialist), that even included a price quote on a new vehicle, which was a very good deal. The next day we went to the dealership to see the car and met Hans Stuiber. a sales representative at the dealership. He, like Eric, was great to work with. He "got" us and did not push us to get a car or features we did not want. We were fortunate as the car we wanted had just been delivered...it wasn't even "prepped" to test drive (the hub caps were still in plastic in the back area!). We said we were interested but had to return to our home that night. But we told him we wanted to actually test drive the car before making a decision to buy it. He said he would arrange to get it prepped before our return the next day. I called to make sure the car had not sold before we headed back to Madison and was told by Eric that it would be ready for us when we arrived. Hans met us as we drove up in our 22 year old Subaru Legacy wagon. We took a test drive in the new Outback and the car was a delight. When we sat down to negotiate, even that went smoothly. The price we got via the internet was extremely good. We even got a fair offer on our old Legacy as a trade in. We also decided to finance through the dealership as Subaru had a great rate for their loans, and that went as smoothly, as well. While we were working on the financing paper work with John McCaskill (who did a great job explaining all the details and options), Hans was working to make sure the car would be detailed and would have the options we selected put on the car immediately so we could take it that day to save us another trip to Madison. Once we were done with the paperwork, Hans did a great job of orienting us to the car. Over the course of the two days, he patiently answered an extensive set of questions from us and was extremely knowledgeable about the details of the car. We left very impressed with the Don Miller team and with our new Outback. They never tired to pressure us and were very willing to listen to what we wanted in a car and got the car ready for us as quickly as possible, since we lived so far away. In the end, we got a new Subaru for less than some of the used ones we were looking at. I teach business ethics as a small college in Wisconsin and I could use the people at Don Miller West as an example of what to do right in working with customers.
