Poor Customer Service OverPriced Used Vehicles
by 03/21/2016
onThe dealership sales manager was very rude and the used vehicles are extremely over priced. Example TMV , Kbb states car is worth $9200 and they try to sell for $11999. Other dealerships have listings for $8999 and $9999 . First thought maybe mistake but no they were trying to sell it for that price. When stated reason why I felt like price was over priced and that other dealerships had it at that price the sales manager stated "Well why are you there then". He had a point and can not be happier that I did not purchase from them.

onI have been looking for several weeks for a used car for a price under 15k certified and sporty looking. i found a 2011 Focus SES. The salesman Chris F. was very helpful in explaining the features, coming from a 1995 Ford thunderbird sync and all the new electronic stuff is new to me. He did a very good job answering my questions and demonstring features. when it came time for delivery the financing Department was very clear on explaining warranty coverages and options and going over the paperwork making that phase go smoothly. Overall i was satisfied, i got the car i wanted at a price i could afford, that was slightly under TWV. I can not vouch for the entire Staff at Ewald, but i can vouch for Chris F., Justin (financing) and Darren the internet Sales manger.

Could not get them to sell us a car
by 12/17/2012
onWe went to Venus Ford, because we bought 2 other cars from them in the past, and hoped we'd get the same good service. However, we visited Venus 3 times to try and buy a C-Max, with 2 of visits being a real waste of our time. The second of our visits - set up with our salesman - was to retest-drive the car, only to find they no longer had the car for us to test drive. After that, they offered us a good price on a new vehicle if we would come back in. So we did, but there was some "confusion" over what the rebate incentive would be, although Edmund's was showing it still in effect. The sales person said to try again after the weekend to see what the new incentive would be. I checked Edmunds on Monday, and the same incentive was still in effect. Doesn't matter, because we bought went ahead and bought the C-Max from another dealer at the same price Venus was offering, PLUS there was no confusion over the rebate -- the other dealer, Braeger Ford, gave it to us, and provided a VERY nice trade-in on our 10-year-old car.
