Amazing car buying experience

I had the most amazing car buying experience at Dishman Dodge in Spokane with Shawn Vanderberg. He spent a great portion of his day trying to make sure I found the absolute car of my dreams. He helped me get into a brand new Jeep Cherokee with all the features I could ever want. I dont know how he managed to turn such an intense stressful time into a fun memory I will never forget. Thanks again to Shawn Vandy and Dishman Dodge!

Great Experience

We started our purchase process by phone and Internet since we lived 180 miles away. Our salesman was considerate of our time, needs and wants and kept it real but friendly. We would give him a 10 rating for sure. Other staff members were equally efficient and friendly. We would recommend this dealership and will return there if we need to make a purchase in the future. I the best experience at Dishman Dodge Ram Chrysler Jeep in the Spokane Valley. They were awesome people and treated me right .Great staff our Salesman was Shawn (Vandy) and was the best .The manager Darin Martin was so nice and very polite as well. The General Sales manager even came out and thanked us for our business. Easiest deal ever . Thank you Dishman Dodge for everything. I will definitely send you more business.

Great Jeep Inventory

Because I could not afford to buy a new Jeep, I was able to find a used Jeep Liberty Limited with all the features I want at a price I could handle. The sales process was easy and I was able to get a payment that works for me. The folks there are easy going and polite.

Dishman actually made buying my car a fun experience. I got a great deal without the back and forth grind and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I came back for my first oil change and had another great experience with the service department. I would recommend Dishman to anyone who is looking for a vehicle and wants a great deal without all of the hassle.

Second vehicle we purchased. First one the service was good. First vehicle had major catastrophic mechanical failure on the way he from the dealer. Dishman towed it back and fixed it for free even though it was used. And this is the reason we came back. Second purchase was about 5 years after the first. What a different story. Salesman was so pushy and tried to strong arm us into a purchase. We don't buy vehicles on emotion. We but them because it makes sense financially. We tried to walk out after the salesman was being very mean As soon as we hit the door his attitude changed. Although his attitude changed he would not leave us alone to go over the vehicle in detail by ourselves and find what was wrong with it. In hindsight we should have made him leave us alone or left without buying. On the way home the radiator exploded spraying antifreeze everywhere. Also the gear in the distributor let go on the drive home and the rotor was smacking the cap causing a timing issue. Luckily being a mechanic I was able to get the vehicle home. I contacted the dealer and there was no offer to make it right. I put a new radiator in myself and also replaced the distributor. The total cost for parts was only about $185. But if you had to have this done at a repair shop it would have been about 7 hours of labor and about $265 in parts at retail cost for a total of $740ish. Now that we have driven an additional 14 miles after replacing the radiator and distributor it is apparent that the head gasket is also bad. I would of liked at least a ln apology for selling a vehicle that needs over $1500 in repairs before it even got home 54 miles. The only response I got was we will use this as a training issue. We will never be using dishman Dodge again. And as far as price. Do your research. Look at retail pricing on KBB and NADA. You will see that even after you negotiate several thousand dollars off the price you are still above retail. Do your research. Do not trust ANY dealer especially Dishman Dodge.

Things Need to Change Here

The worst experience I've ever gone through in any buying experience in my life. Dodge makes a great product but any joy of this was destroyed in the lack of integrity from my first phone call to sales to leaving to get to a honest Dealership after Dishman's final insult in the destruction of my paint finish and their subsequent lies and and cover up when their scam was called out to them. Now, I'm in the process of filing a law suit to resolve this scam. This story is to long for this, I'll let a judge hear it. Before I left, the service visits were brutal with several finger prints etched into the hood apparently from solvents on mechanic's hands. On one oil change I was fortunate to discover a puddle of oil and to discover the oil filter was about to fall off and other repairs I'd requested never completed. At least at the Service Dept I got an apology and a promise to do better but the Body/Paint Shop should not be allowed to be in business and to keep it clean I'll say again, I intend to let a judge hear it. Save your money, lower you anxiety and go to a Dodge Dealership that has integrity. I was warned but went forward and the stories I'd heard came true.The buying process was very insulting/offensive remarks, no professionalism what so ever. I was told I couldn't use my phone on their lot and physical intimidation came in too. It was a very immature, nauseating business model displayed to me by Dishman Dodge. I got a good buy, but my mistake was thinking Dishman Dodge was capable of being a honest partner to help me in my warranties and care of my new vehicle. I can only warn you, as I was warned, don't make this mistake Thank You!

Went to the dealership today and had a Durango picked out that fit everything that I was looking for. Color, Trim, Size, Type, and of course Price. I called the dealership and told that that I would be in at 6 to sign the paperwork on the car. When I arrived the dealer met me and allowed me to take the car for a drive. It rode like the previus time and reaffirmed my decision to buy the car. I was offered a screaming deal that the dealer said the they were going to take a loss on. When the salesman came back from the office area where he was for about 5 minutes he was followed by a manager. They proceeded to tell me that the car that they committed to selling me was already sold. Of course I was blown away by the response as to our agreement of me to buy the car. They knew I was mad and my lady too so they said they had another car on the lot that fit my specs and would give me a deal on it as well. When the manager and sales person returned I was offered a price that was $2000 higher than where my first offer was at. I believe that this poor customer serivce, no corporate follow through and un professionalism are reasons not to do business with this dealership. I am not for speculation but I believe that they were able to sell the car to the other individual for more than what they were able to sell to me at. Once again a dealer following through with a decision that brings more to their bottom line instead of doing the "right thing", honoring their commitment and offers to clients, and ensuring the longevity of their dealerships standing in the community with honesty instead of the "extra profit to the bottom line". I am extreemly displeased with this organization. Please choose like I have an choose another dealer. (( Concerned Durango Buyer
