Not happy

Went if for an oil change, that was fine... Went on a trip the day after and when the cruise control is on and you turn on a blink the cruise control shuts off, the dash lights flicker off and then back on and the GPS now has the red circle with a line through it indication it is not functioning. There were no issues prior to the service visit and when I called the service department and explained things to them they want to charge me $160 to even take a look at it! I will never go back to this place for any reason

Did the bare minimum, but was cheaper than Jiffy Lube.

I took my 2015 Spark for an oil change because it was displaying Code 82. They also offered to do a tire rotation. Waiting at the counter took a long time because they are understaffed. When I got my car back, they hadn’t cleared the Code 82, and the tire pressure was low, even though they rotated the tires (at a recent Jiffy Lube oil change for another car they refilled the tires even though they didn’t rotate them). The actual service didn’t take very long, and wasn’t too expensive, but overall I wish I had gone somewhere else. The reason I took it to the dealer specifically is so that I wouldn’t have to bother with clearing codes.

A Lie Told

Let me tell you a story. It began with a visit to the dealership to have a speaker fixed, a loose door panel fixed, and a small leak of a tire. Apparently, the speaker needed to be replaced, they were able to fix the panel on the door and the tire needed to be replaced. Well, the worst LIE was told to me when the service department employee ( Leah) told me the screw in the tire was on the corner of the tire and it was unpatchable. The dealership was unable to change it due to the tire being out of stock. Well, I decided to stop by Discount Tire to see if they had one to replace the leaking tire. The DISAPPOINTMENT happened when Discount Tire informed me and showed me the screw was NOT on the edge of the tire, but on the tread where it was fixed easily, and at no cost, as they know customer service. Note, the tire has been fine since then. The second issue happened when I brought the truck back to have the faulty speaker replaced. This was required because they needed to order the part (second visit) They called, and I made an appointment to replace the speaker (third visit) when I returned to have the speaker changed and waited almost 2 hours, I was informed I would have to bring the truck back again (fourth visit) as the tech damaged a part on the door when fixing speaker. More to come as I will be making another appointment to have the tech-damaged part replaced (fifth visit) While I know things happen and are unavoidable, it is never a time to LIE and continue to consume a client's time. I am estimating more than a day has been consumed between travel time and wait time. As I am sure your time is, mine is equally as valuable. I am so disappointed and troubled by the LIE your employees might be encouraged to practice in order to grow revenue. I welcome a call from the owner of the dealership to discuss and compensate me for the missed time, fuel, and trust now lost.

Terrible customer service

Sold me a lemon. My new truck has spent more time in the shop than at my home. It has spent about 9 weeks total at the dealership since January when I bought it, you get no updates on progress. They returned it to me filthy covered in pollen and dust. I had to take it back after two days with the same problems . My other vehicle had to go back 3 times for oil leaks and parts not properly attached also fuel leaks. Seems like there is no quality control after repairs . If it runs they send it home without making sure problems are fixed. Oh yeah and you will only know it’s done if you call them. Then they will tell you it’s been done for a couple days .

Disappointed

I went in to address chipping paint and failing locking mechanism on my 2019 Colorado. Both were identified as being under warranty but parts weren't in. I was told I'd get an update after a couple weeks. I've called and emailed and get nothing in response. It's been two months. I'll call again tomorrow...

Oil change

I was told my brake fluid was dirty although they had just flushed it 2 oil changes prior because of condensation I was told. Overfilled my oil 1qt setting off my oil pressure sensor. Needless to say I'm not very happy with them try to drum up buisness.

David Hayes

I had been putting off buying a new car because I was dreading everything about it due to past experiences. A family member had purchased several cars from David Hayes over the years and recommended I work with him. I called ahead and made an appointment to see him and it was great. Well...as great as buying a car can ever be. I didn't have a specific car in mind and only had a general idea of what I absolutely did not want. He helped narrow it down to three vehicles and I went with the Buick Encore. I would recommended David to anyone. Unless that person is someone I don't like. They can go see someone else.

Very Happy

Today we bought a 2014 Toyota Tundra. Our salesman, Mario Reaves, was amazing. He was not pushy and did not try to sell us something we did not want. Mario made sure that my husband and I were comfortable throughout the process. He was personable and made the experience fun. This was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a car. Tremendous Customer Experience!!!

We just bought a "cherry" used 2011 HHR at Chevrolet Buick GMC of Puyallup, and our Sales Representative "Josiah Rowell" really went the extra mile to take great care of us throughout the process. He even found a spare key & fob that nobody knew about and is mailing that out to us. Leanne Cash in the Business Office was a gem as well, and made the paperwork part a breeze! Starting it all off was Tara & Steve James Backman who had worked with my wife after she had discovered the HHR online at their website, and found that it had not even been processed yet for inspections & detailing. Steven made a great phone video and Tara made sure we got to see it. The condition we saw in the video made us jump in the car and head over that same afternoon. Just an incredible experience for one, and all that for a pre-owned vehicle no less!

Great Buy!!

We recently purchased a new 2017 GMC Terrain SLT from Harnish GMC and Steven Backman was the terrific salesman who worked with us. He could not have been nicer or more helpful! He definately was not the stereo-typical car salesman - just the opposite. He showed us all the terrific features of the Terrain, which I've really loved for years. I also had my heart set on a blue one, which are hard to come by. They had exactly the car we wanted. We had taken our 1995 Jeep Wrangler in for a trade-in, and with what they gave us for it, along with the current discounts, we paid less than we'd anticipated it would be!! How often does that happen??!! Steven Backman, along with the other folks who helped us complete the sale, could not have been nicer or more helpful. We don't purchase a new car very often and will have our Terrain for many years I'm sure. Should we decide we need another car someday, Harnish, and Steve Backman, will be the first place we'll go. It was the best experience you could ever hope for when making a big purchase like ours. Many thanks to everyone who got us behind the wheel of our wonderful new Terrain!!

Fantastic Sales rep and support

Came in to the dealership to buy a new Yukon Denali. I was approached by Ben Rollins. Ben is a young, charismatic, knowledgeable, no pressure sales man. He is someone who has a true servants attitude when it comes to serving the customer which is hard to find anywhere now days. Needless to say I bought my Yukon and the deal could not have been smoother. I truly appreciated how the dealership approached how they spent my time. If you're in the market for a new or used car, drive to Puyallup, have lunch at the Loose Wheel then go directly across the street to Chevy Buick GMC of Puyallup, ask for Steve Backman and the rest is a breeze. Steve is fair, honest, friendly, no pressure and knowledgeable. I haven't purchased a car in 10 years. I don't know what I was waiting for - so simple with Steve.

Purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali.........

I began my search to find the dealership to give me the best bang for my buck six months ago.......After hours of viewing websites, dealerships and even going out of state, I found the perfect vehicle at Chevrolet Buick GMC of Puyallup. The price was definitely lower than other dealerships that I researched and even my trade-in value I believe was excellent. Steven Backman was always keeping me abreast on models, colors, styles and prices in my desired range. He was extremely knowledgeable on the characteristics and functionality of each vehicle I inquired about. This later became a big selling point towards my final purchase. There was no pressure selling or constant irritating sales calls or texts. I would recommend this dealership as your first search for a new vehicle and I've no doubt that you'll be able to see or negotiate the perfect deal for your budget. 2017 Silverado

Shopped around, but started and stopped with the young, energetic and knowledgeable salesman Steve Backman. There is just no comparison with other dealers in the NW. Ordered our 2017 Silverado 6.2L Crew Cab Max Tow in January and received it in March. Great experience all around. Also bought our 2015 Outback new from their sister dealership.
