Our purchase had to go to the mechanic days after driving off the lot.

We bought a vehicle from Heritage that was definitely a lemon. Within a few days of purchasing, we had to pay $1200 to repair it and had the rear breaks blow. My biggest complaint and warning to you as a buyer, is that they advertised the vehicle as having undergone a 150 point dealer inspection AND had just passed state inspection, which is NOT possible. The drive belt (visualized by us) on the vehicle was literally chewed up. Also, the front that the flap of front end (diving under the vehicle) was literally taped up with duct tape! Can you imagine? We noticed it hanging down/blowing in the breeze after driving it a few weeks. I don’t believe or claim that Heritage knew this, but their third party inspections are not trustworthy. I would not buy a vehicle from them without first taking it to your mechanic to get it checked out first. Also beware that a carfax is not sufficient and doesn’t tell the whole story. Heritage DID try to work with us and pay for repairs at their location, but we did not trust their mechanic after finding these issues.

Slight of Hand

Military Service Members beware. I recently purchased a truck from them. Within three weeks of purchasing the truck I have had to pay over $5000 in maintenance to get the truck road worthy. Zero reimbursement. When you buy a vehicle from them you run the risk of buying a glorified lawn ornament. Military Service Members beware.
