Worthless dealership

YOU WILL BE BENDING OVER FORWARD FOR THEM [non-permissible content removed]! If you want to be lied to this is the place to go if you don't want your plates on time this is the place to if you want to have to get the utah motor vehicle enforcement division involved just so you can get your plates then THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Nothing but a run around once they have your cash you don't mean a damn thing to them. It started with me going to the dealer to look at the car I called them in the morning and they said come down around 3 and it will be fully detailed and ready to show when I got down there at 4 it had just barely went into detail. They pulled it out so I could test drive it and then it was supposed to go straight back to detail I waited inside for about an hour walked outside and it was sitting in the same spot it was when I got back from the test drive the salesman was [non-permissible content removed] everytime I tried to bring something up and then after hours of waiting I was told the detail was almost done went in paid for the car came back outside and my car was gone nobody could find it. They spent another hour trying to locate it they finally found it god knows where and I was finally on my way fast forward a week before my temp tag is ready to expire and I called them to get a status on it. The lady tells me safety and emissions wasn't done so I had finally had enough and called the motor vehicle enforcement division once they got involved a safety and emissions certificate magically appeared only after taking the car home and going through it with a fine tooth comb that car never should have passed safety the inside of the back tires are bald, both control arm bushing are completely torn, and a motor mount is broke they had the odometer wrong the car itself had roughly 138k on it but all paperwork was showing 145k when I asked the finance manager to fox it his response was just don't sale the car until it hits that mileage! But it's ok for them to sale it? Also the detail my 3 year old could have wiped it down better than they did! I could ramble on but I think I have gotten my point across this dealership is a joke if you buy a used car from them prepare to fight them the entire process and come out on the losing end of it.

After spending approximately 5 hours at another dealership (That we have purchased 4 or 5 vehicles from) we decided to try Brent Brown. Upon arrival we located a vehicle we were interested in and within the hour we had agreed on a purchase price. It was truly one of the best car buying experiences we have had.

I bought my first new car from Brent Brown Toyota in Orem. I wanted a specific type and color of 4Runner and no one had the car in the area. They found the nearest one and immediately had it transported. All my questions were answered and they informed me of the best options available for my car. I look forward to having my car serviced by them and am very happy with my purchase.

Great Car Service was not

So I have mixed feelings on my purchase with them. So i started searching for a new Toyota Tacoma. I went in on March 30th to look. I found one that I really liked, but the amount they were going to give me for my trade in was a little low, I had my car up on KSL and already had a couple offers. So I told them I would wait and see if I could sell it on my own for a little more. The next day on the 31st they called me to ask how it was going. They were willing to go up on the trade in to the point it was worth doing the trade in versus trying to sell it on my own. So I told them I would be in at lunch and we could take care of it. I show up at lunch. They show me the truck again. They have me go inside and start the paper work. They start making copies of my insurance and have me sign the Title. They have me start to fill out the credit application. As I've almost completed the credit application, they come and tell me that the Tacoma I have been looking at was a dealer trade or something and that I couldn't have it. They tell me that they will have a truck exactly like the one that I wanted in on April 2nd (Saturday) or April 4th (Monday) at the latest. So I agree to go through with it. They have me go through all the financing and everything on the 31st. My guess is because it's months end and wanted the sale to count for the end of the month and end of the first quarter. So Saturday comes around I reach out to the sales guy and he says that it hasn't gotten there yet. Monday comes around I reach out to the sales guy again and the Truck is still not there. Tuesday comes around I reach out to the sales guy and he tells me it should be there that day. I follow up a couple hours later and he tells me it is just getting of the truck. It would be a few hours to go through there inspection and detailing but it should be ready. I told him that I get off work at 4:00 and asked if it would be ready by then. He told me yes. He also informed me that he was not in but he gave me the name of another sales guy that would know what is going on and to ask for him. So after work I go to pick up the truck. I ask for that sales guy. They page him while I sit there for 10 minutes, he never comes. After a few more minutes a different guy comes and tells me he will look into it and see what is going on. He comes back after a while and lets me know that they haven't even taken the truck back to start the process and that it will take a couple of hours. He apologizes and offers to get me a $75 gift card to Magelbys or a gas card for the inconvenience. (because I don't live that close to the dealer). I leave for a couple of hours and come back when it should be done.This is around 6:30. The salesman I was supposed to ask for before had left for the day. The guy who had originally tracked it down and told me that they hadn't even started the process and who had offered the gift card was no where to be found either. Another sales guy tried his best to help me out, but it still took a while for him to figure out where the truck was and what was going on for sure. I was finally able to leave with my new truck around 7:30. As I mentioned before I have mixed feelings. I really like the Truck and I'm enjoying it. For the most part the people were friendly, but the entire process was so jumbled. I wish I would have been told upfront that the truck I liked and wanted was already traded to another dealer before all the paperwork had been started. I wish the truck would have been delivered on the Saturday or Monday like I was told initially. I wish the truck would have been ready when I went there to pick it up at 4:00 like I was told it would be and that I didn't have to waste the entire night waiting for it.

I went in on 18 March, 2016. Bob Sanders wrote a bid for my Tundra, $7500. After I got home I noticed that I actually got 6500. Was it an honest mistake? I don't know.

Great Experience

We just bought a new Sienna. The experience was a good one. The sales staff was pretty good. We were looking for a couple different options that we had to have, They had one on the lot that had them already in it but some other options that I had little interest in paying for. I asked if they had one that was less and they said that they did not. I looked myself and found one on their lot. The only feature they needed to add was a dvd player and we would be set. Not sure how the salesman couldn't figure that out on his own but once we got that solved it was smooth sailing. We had to haggle a little bit to get a some more money out of our trade in but all in all it was a great experience. Paperwork went through easily. They didn't try to sneak anything through on us or any last minute add ons. They were timely in getting us through all the paperwork and in our new van. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. If you are looking for a Toyota I would recommend these guys/gals at Brent Brown. Great Experience.

Dishonest and rude

I contacted Brent Brown Toyota in June to lease a new Sienna XLE. I offered a fair price ($375/month) and my salesperson was very helpful and nice. The price was accepted and confirmed several times over the course of our emails and telephone calls. They ended up special ordering me what I needed. The first issue arose when I hadn't heard anything for over a month. I had to remind them that we had special ordered it. Turns out they didn't order it until late July. Our price was confirmed again. I scheduled to meet with the finance department and sign papers. I had to go down 3 times before we finally could sign. Each finance manager was condescending and rude. One (Todd Robinson) even accused me of lying about my price and made me go in his office and print off emails proving the $375/month. He still wouldn't give it to me. I had been waiting SO LONG and needed my car, so I agreed to the $396/month. My husband and I signed papers on the last day of the month (which helped out the dealer a lot), and my car was supposed to be ready the next day. 3 days later, I still didn't have my car. I was furious. I talked to different management personnel and finally to the General Manager named Kelly Christensen. After yelling at me to sit down and be calm (which I did), he proceeded to give me over $1700 in free perks to "make up" for my terrible experience, but still wouldn't go back to the original agreement. I say that Brent Brown management is full of condescending liars. I wouldn't recommend Bre [non-permissible content removed]nt Brown Toyota to anyone. All I wanted was for them to live up to what they agreed upon and they wouldn't do it.

Great experience with a dealer!

We loved working with the salesman and also the manager. We were totally sold by them, test drove a 2012 model and walked out with a brand new one. They were assertive, but not overbearing. When we pushed back, they listened and we were able to have a two-sided discussion. They adapted well to our limitations and didn't make us feel uncomfortable. The only feedback I would give is that product information was limited to what they wanted to share, not answering our questions. I asked for a printout version to see the different features between different models and all I got in return was "the only things you need to be aware of are the navigation, sunroof, and dual A/C control." He didn't go through all the features like I had asked for and wanted. Overall, we were treated very well and taken care of.

A Great Place To Buy A Car

For me, buying a car is quite a daunting endeavor. Collin Taylor at Brent Brown Toyota is the best salesman I have ever encountered because he made the process so easy. He didn't make me feel like he had to sell me something. I didn't feel rushed or like he had something more important to do. He helped me understand what options I had based on my situation. I definitely recommend Collin and Brent Brown as a great place to buy a car.

Great service!

I've never cared for the whole car shopping/car buying experience. For me, it's always been an uncomfortable and confusing process. When I went to Brent Brown Toyota I expected more of the same. I'm pleased to say I was wrong. I met with Collin Taylor who was very professional. He listened to what I wanted and showed me several cars. I never felt like he was pushy. Instead, I felt like he really wanted to help me accomplish what I wanted. I found a Highlander that I liked and there wasn't a lot of back and forth. When I told him I wasn't sure, he told me to sleep on it and see how I felt in the morning. That blew me away! Usually salesman try to push you to take it right then but brent brown and Collin wanted to make sure that I was 100% that this was the right choice for me. I was very impressed with everyone I dealt with. I ended up going back the next day and buying the car. I'd recommend brent brown and especially Collin Taylor to everyone. Thanks guys!

Nicest dealership!!!

After shopping around online and going to many many dealerships we found ourselves walking into Brent Brown looking for a cheap little car to get us by. We were immediately approached by Sheldon Williams. He not only was incredibly patient while my Husband asked question after question, but he got us into a brand new Rav4 when we thought we were only going to be able to get a crappy piece of junk. He helped us get to the payment we needed to be at, answered all the ridiculous questions and even called the week after AND month after to see how we were enjoying it and if we had any questions. I just went back in today to get my service done for the first 5K mile and met with John G. who was so helpful and friendly. As I was sitting in the service section waiting for my Rav to get done Sheldon spotted me and took the time to greet me and asked how things were. Talk about your follow up!! Not long after talking with Sheldon I was told my Rav4 was finished and ready for me! I thanked John for his courtesy and left even more happy then when I got there. A dealership that treats you like Family and makes sure you are taken care of and not left wondering- now thats a dealer for me! I will never have to look at different dealers and be harassed again! Thank you so much Brent Brown, especially Sheldon and John!

Extremely Pleased!

I recently went into Brent Brown Toyota to refinance my vehicle. I went in thinking it was a lost cause and I was stuck with a high interest rate. Andy helped me to refinance my vehicle and was able to cut my interest rate in half! I was sooo happy and shocked. He worked hard for me and I very much appreciated it! Definitely will be recommending to my friends and family!

THIS DEALERSHIP IS ALL ABOUT LIES, FRAUD, AND DECEIT.

My wife and I went in to check out the dealership, not intending to buy. Of course, the sales rep. that we talked with pressured us into buying a car. This was expected. However, we did not expect flat out lies. We were given a price on a used van that supposedly included tax, title, and registration fees. Upon signing, we were told that tax, title, and registration fees would not be included because the dealership "would lose money". Ok, whatever, we went with it. We drove home somewhat happy (besides a bit cookoo from being there for 4 and 1/2 hours with our 2 young children--10 mo. and 2 yr.) because we just got what we thought was an awesome car (low miles, one owner, clean title, no accidents, etc.). Nonetheless, we went home and did our research. After some time comparing the price we paid to similar cars, we found an ad on KSL by the dealership for the exact car we bought (VIN numbers matched) for $3,200 less than what we paid for it and $7,000 less than what we were told the price of the van was. We called the dealership about it and they told us it was a mistake. So we went back into the dealership to renegotiate our contract. Upon arrival we were asked if we were sure we saw what we did because they looked at the ad and it matched the price they told us (the $7,000 more price). We looked up the ad again and sure enough, the price was changed. Luckily we had saved and printed the ad before they could change it and showed them the original ad. Once they saw that we weren't stupid and had evidence, they swore (the "s" word) and gave us the price that they had listed online. Before the new contract was written we were promised the same interest rate, but they actually more than doubled our interest rate despite my 800 credit score. This again was upsetting but I was done with this dealership and planned to refinance through someone else anyway. After being declined by multiple banks on refinancing because the van had reported frame damage, we started to investigate why the carfax we had been given didn't indicate frame damage. Turns out that they had given us the carfax to a van they had already sold that was perfect! Our van's actual carfax had four (4) accidents reported on it and other issues! This is fraud! So we took the car back and threatened to sue. They finally did something honorable and owned up to their fraudulent transaction and took back the van and terminated our contract. If you ever visit this dealership you will find on their wall their "Guiding Principles". I believe them to be in the correct order: "Team Satisfaction, Profitability, Guest Satisfaction, Integrity, Innovation". They will make a profit on you before they will be honest and they will also make you think you are getting a good deal even when you're getting screwed!
