Excellent and Best Buying Experience ever

Bobby, our salesman, was exceptional. He was personable, cared about our buying experience and honored our needs through the process. The whole experience was very straight forward. We got a much better deal than the prior dealer and felt this dealership had our best interest at heart. It was fast and no hassle. No buyers remorse whatsoever. Great deal and exceptional service. I would definitely go to Performance Honda first

My wife and I recently purchased a new CR=V from Performance Honda in Bountiful. We first went into the dealership in May and looked at SUV options and decided we liked the CR-V. We were in the middle of buying a house so we waited for a while while it closed. Over the course of the next 5 weeks we heard from representatives of the dealership offering support for a future purchase. And they were really great about backing off when we asked and following up when we needed them to. It's now nearly the end of August and we've just completed the purchase, nearly 3 months after we hit the dealership for the first time. There ended up being a problem with the car's paint that we drove off of the lot and Performance took car of that issue to our complete satisfaction. We've been very pleased with Jared Barnes and his sales management's performance. We've really appreciated the transparent and supportive way they've dealt with both the sale and the support after the sale. We strongly recommend buying a car from our friends at Performance Honda.

My salesperson, Jamie, was great to work with. Bought a certified used civic that I liked, pricing was better than most dealerships I had looked at. No pressure, pleasant experience. They even agreed to fix a few little door dings, I brought it back today and it's all fixed. Looks great, drives great, nice dealership, recommend.

I went into Performance Honda on Saturday 13th. I was pre approved for a vehicle through my bank. I made it very clear to my sales man that I was pre approved and to NOT pull my credit. I made it VERY clear multiple times. I had to fill out a paper with my info on it and I left the SSNumber part blank, he said they needed it to run a terrorist check to make sure my name wasn’t on the list (I know, how gulable I was) I said to him again that I do not want my credit pulled, He reassured me that my credit would NOT be pulled, And even wrote it down on the paper to not pull my credit! Well come to find out they went and pulled my credit without my consent. What they did was illegal! Why would I go get pre approved for my loan and take the paper in and hand it to them and let them know I already have my loan, for them to go run my credit to do the loan through their creditor ! All so they get the full commission off of my sell! I’m one unhappy customer. I’m definitely going to take whatever action I will have to do to let this company know what they did was illegal! I would leave No star if I could!

Bought a used vehicle from Performance Honda, and I have to say it is hands down the best dealership I have ever been to. When you walk in and every single person turns around to greet you, you hear laughing, jokes, and even a few employees singing out loud to the song playing on the radio. It’s the kind of car buying experience you have always wanted. Worked with Jamie Suter, and Ryan I believe he is the used car manager. Go in and ask for them. You will not be disappointed at all with them.

My family has bought 4 cars from this dealership previously, and now just bought our 5th. This was my first car purchase personally, and it was basically as smooth as it could be. The salesmen are polite and not pushy. I feel like I got a good deal on my new car

Legal but not ethical

We purchased a used Dodge from Performance Honda in July. After driving it around for 3 days my 6 year old noticed 2 of the 6 seat belts were completely slashed. It was obvious at that point they did not do their 120 point inspections as advertised and legally obligated. 2 months later the Van would not start. We took it back to them to repair it. Unfortunately in Utah there are no lemon laws. All of the laws protect large corporations not the average buyer. We would have gladly returned it or taken it somewhere else, but we were hoping they would help us out. Boy were we wrong. We took the van in on October 18th. They did not have it fixed until Dec. 4th. We went more then 6 weeks without a vehicle! The way they treated us was the worst part. They were rude to us the entire time, acted like we completely inconvenienced them when we would come in to check on the progress. We were fed lies the entire time promising dates it would be done that we're never met. It was obvious we were not a priority. We were not worth their time and they made it very clear. Worst experience I have ever had!!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars

I was very impressed and pleased with my experience at Performance Honda Bountiful. All of my questions and concerns were appropriately addressed. Every associate working with me the day I got my new car was very helpful and patient. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Very happy about my purchase and am planning on going to them in the future.

Beware. Worst cust service

Went to this dealership to buy a 2013 Honda Accord period explained to salesman, Alex, that I already have financing set up through cyprus Credit Union. We Waited several hours before seeing someone in finance and completing sell. Based on the questions he was asking me. I asked Dalton, the finance guy, if he ran my credit and he replied no. I never gave this company permission to do so. A month later I received a statement in the mail saying that they pulled my credit. I went in and spoke with Dalton and he assured me that he never pulled my credit. On serveral occasions he lied to my face. After contacting Experian and verifing that they did in fact pull my credit I went back and spoke with Jeron, a guy claiming to be the manager. he told me oh well there's nothing that they can do. In my experience it seems everyone in this company that I've dealt with is lacking customer service. The worst part of it is they didn't even hide that they did not care. And they basically said we have your money that's all that matters. On the day I purchased my vehicle I stated that I would not pick it up for 2 days so that they could detail and do an oil changed as agreed. When I came to pick up my vehicle I had to wait 2 hours for them to figure out where it was and then provide me with a rental car as they told me that it was not ready to go. I was then informed I had to wait an additional 3 days to pick up my vehicle as they could not do the maintenance on it that fast. On the third day I called in to verify the vehicle would be ready when I got there and they informed me that nothing was performed on it yet and that they would do the maintenance within 2 hours. I showed up to pick up my vehicle 2 hours later and was handed One driver 2 key. Was informed that I would have to pay for the other key. On several occasions I expressed my concerns. No one at this dealership cared! This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had and do not recommend performance to even my worst enemy. Beware if you choose to buy from them.

BEST car buying I've ever had

Scott did an amazing job dealing with me living far away, less than amazing credit, and my weird demands and wants in a new car. They got me a great rate, good payment, and what I wanted to drive. The first time I've ever purchased and almost brand new car, that had everything I wanted. I wasn't pushed into it, nor was I haggled. It was a great day!!!
