Buyer beware

by Conservative dad on 05/27/2022

Buyer beware of Predatory Practices. They get you in the door with sales price plus TTL, then add over $2,000 in add ons (paint protection, GPS, etc). Ask for buyers order before you drive across town.

Charged twice for same job!!

by LHabersaat on 06/11/2018

Very Lucky that I have to leave a start at all! I took my Dodge Ram 3500 in for A/C service - I previously had bought the part - they had no problem using that part to fix the one broken - However, Tech called explaining that the actuators were bad and needed to be replaced - I agreed and said ok - My vehicle was ready for pick that afternoon Cost me right above $1300 - picked it up and NO AIR was blowing out of the vents - in no less than 9 miles doing the turnaround and re-entering the Service parking lot - and back to speaking with the Service dpt. - The tech goes to get the mechanic who explains that the Evaporator is bad - I asked WHY he didn't tell me this when he Replaced the actuators were replaced - and he said he could not tell - Which is not true! When he replaced the Blower Door that was broken (the part I brought in) you can see clear as day that the Evaporator was beyond dirty and needed to be replaced! They kept my truck overnight again and charged me another $1200 ($350.00 part with $800 labor) to complete the rest of the charge. I have requested an appt with the General Manager to no avail and now that I have recall work to be done on the Cruise Control - I am seriously debating whether trusting this dealership to do what's right the first time. Very disappointed.

Dishonest Dealership

by Joeynelly2011 on 03/03/2018

Beware, these guys will tell you anything to get you in the door. I had been emailing back and forth with Rubi, the online rep. I told her what I wanted in terms of a discount off of MSRP, she answered in a way that eluded me to think they would sell me the vehicle at that discount. I had previously mentioned that I lived 40min away from Tomball, and I didn’t want to waste my time and gas if they weren’t going to sell me the vehicle at the price I wanted. To little surprise, when I arrived at the dealership, she passed me off to a random sales guy that gave the ole “they don’t even give me that amount off of a car” response. I asked to speak to Rubi, and she wouldn’t see me. What total garbage customer service, and bold face lying to get me in the door. Someone tell Tomball Dodge that this is 2018, and those oldfasion bait and switch sales tricks don’t work anymore, and the total lack of customer service, that’s unbelievable. To make things worse, I communicated to my sales guy that I was very upset and disappointed, never once was a manager called to speak to me. I am never going to purchase a car from Tomball Dodge, and I suggest you guys don’t either. There are too many dealerships out there, there is no need to be lied to and manipulated

2 hours for an oil change?

by DodgeChal2015 on 04/27/2016

Stopped in last Friday to get an oil change around 2 PM. I was told it would be at least 2 hours which means probably longer. So I left and on Sat in the middle of the afternoon, I stopped at a Kwik Kar place at Lake Conroe and 20 mins later I was done. The Tomball Dodge was a free oil change since it would be my first. To me my time is more important than hanging around a dealer for a couple hours for a free bee. You only get what you pay for IMO

Transmission leak and recalls.

by SamZaz8 on 12/25/2015

Nathan Kendall was my service rep and he did an outstanding job. I had previously had the exact same issue with my transmission and it was supposedly fixed at a different dealership. Apparently it wasn't and I got horrible customer service there the whole time so I chose to go to this Jeep dealership in Tomball, TX. They were beyond helpful and set me up with a rental, which the previous dealership claimed they could not do. Mind you, my vehicle is a 2014 and still under warranty. All repairs were done in a timely manner and I'm very satisfied.

Hot rod mama

by hotrodmama1 on 10/09/2015

I was so tired of looking for the right deal, my husband said just go to Tomball Dodge, it's unlike any car buying experience. So that's what I did, didn't get my door opened all the way and there was a young man holding an umbrella, just in case it rained. I already knew what I wanted, finding it, out on that big lot, with all those pretty colors was going to make me change my mind. And that's when Servando Diaz, met me at the door . Told him exactly what I wanted, but they didn't have the color, boy am I glad they didn't have that color. It started pouring down rain and we jumped inside the car of my dreams. 2015 Challenger R/S Hiemi, which I never even gave them a second look because I'm way past my fast days. So I thought the longer we sat, I knew that was my car. The price was out of my range, but lower then every where else. Servando sinced how much I wanted my car. So he sent me to lunch, so he could do what ever it was to make me the happiest Hot Rod Mama! The price was crunched. I was in it to win it!! Then this real young man from after market came and got on my nerves to the point I said yes what ever it is, I'll take it. Just go bother someone .else. To finalize the deal was B.J.Meeks!!! Loved my Day with Tomball Dodge, I haven't had that much fun in a while! HotRodMama

my new Challenger

My salesman, Kevin McGrew, at Tomball Dodge was accurate, articulate, and knowledgeable about all the questions at time of sale and his follow-up while my car was on order was exemplary. I would buy from him again. My dealings with this dealer have all been positive.

Great Experience

by drazil9999 on 03/02/2015

I went to Tomball Dodge in response to a letter that I received in the mail with no hope of being approved for a new car. However, my sales man, Elvis Davila, did everything he could possibly do to get me approved. I was very impressed by the short time it took. I have previously bought cars from other dealerships that took all day to finish. This time it was only a couple of hours. And I really wasn't expecting to be approved for a brand new car but I was. I am very happy with my purchase. And it even (accidentally) is my favorite color! I would definitely recommend Tomball Dodge and Elvis Davila to any of my friends.

Stay away from this place

by drich2679 on 01/06/2015

Do not go to this place unless you want to get hammered on your trade. Luckily, I do my research and knew what my truck was worth beforehand. They did not value my truck properly (with the correct trim package) and would not come up on their offer. I went to Texan Dodge and, without them knowing what I wanted for my trade, was offered my asking price without any haggling. If you do go to this dealership, do your homework first and don't believe what they say your vehicle is worth. They almost had me doubting my research.

Padded the BILL

by somadd1 on 10/23/2014

2011 dodge charger I took my car in for a safety recall. Had to leave it. Was called at work with safety recall completed but found a defective speed sensor on right rear. Told them I can do it, just sell me the part. I was told it was a very involved process including removing the wheel well to access. Didn't have that much time so I agreed. Tech logged .6 hours on recall and 1.5 hours on speed sensor (total 2.1 hours). Dash cam recorded 62 minutes from time it was driven into the shop and parked after a test drive. Looked at it when I got it home and I could have changed it like I told them I could without even lifting the car or removing the tire. Was charged 195.00 for 20 min of labor on a 19.95 part. Do yourself a favor and get your service done somewhere else. JP Cypress TX

False Advertising

by Gathmor on 08/14/2014

Seem like this dealership has a track record of false advertising and bait and switch as others have reported the same thing that happened to me. Received an ad in the mail, called the dealership to confirm it was legit and that they had a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I wanted. When I got into the dealership everyone acted like they had no idea what I was talk about. I showed them the ad and asked for a price quote on the SUV I test drove. Three salesman and almost 2 hours later they still would not even print out a price quote. Only wanted to know what my trade in was and what I wanted my car payment to be. What a Joke, the last sales guy said that the ad was not a lie per say just a loser of a deal for the dealership. I never got the car and never been so frustrated, this dealership must make money just taking advantage of people who are young and don't know any better. Deceptive sales practices are just wrong. I would seriously go looking for a Jeep somewhere else. [HTML removed]

Brake Scam

by mgraving on 07/02/2014

Around the 1st of May I brought my car in to have some sensors in my Jeep Patriot worked on. In addition to this the connection to the battery was bad and there was battery acid all over the battery and connection. I had asked Sammy over and over if the battery needed to be replaced. He said that they checked it and it was fine. Well, a week later the battery was dead and needed to be replaced. I had also asked to have my brakes looked at since they were squealing and they already had the car. The next day I was told that I needed all new brakes/roters and I gave the go ahead to have the work done. I picked up the car and drove straight home (I live very close). The next morning I drove the car and it sounded like the front wheel was coming off with loud grinding and squealing coming from the front. I took it back to the service department who told me that the front wheel / brake assembly had been put back together wrong. A week or two later the brakes were squealing again so we brought the car back and was told by Sammy that "they would take care of the back for us" and that he would "put on all new hardware". What that meant I have no idea since I had paid for all the brakes/roters to be done. We leave the dealership and within a week the brakes are squealing again. Again we bring it back and they spray something on the brakes. Again, the brakes still squeal. Over the past 2 months we have been in the dealership at least 4/5 times trying to get this taken care of. Last week we were told (for the first time) that the brakes put on were "cheap Chrysler brakes" that due to the metal in the pads "always squeal" and that if we had put on more expensive brakes they wouldn't squeak. Why would anyone sell brakes that squeal?? I never asked for cheap brakes. I promise you had anyone said to me "we can put brakes on that sound like we never changed them at all or we can put on more expensive brakes that don't squeal" I would have gone with the more expensive brakes. This Anthony fellow tells my husband last week that we would have to pay (labor and material) to put on the better brakes if we didn't want the ones that squeal. After some arguing he said that he would put on the next step up brakes at no charge so see if that fixes the problem. He gave me a rental car so that he would have the Jeep long enough "to drive it around and make sure there was no noise". He must of drove it no further than a couple feet because I had barely left the parking lot before they started up again. As of today the problem/noise is worse than it ever was.

Professional Service and Outstanding Attitude

by hrdcorpsmarine on 06/11/2013

I have purchased 2 autos from Tomball Dodge and both times the process was a good experience. The sales people are knowledgeable and helpful. Mr. L. was especially knowledgeable about his products, and exhibited a friendly and helpful attitude. I would certainly look him up at the dealership should I choose to buy another car. It's always a 5 star experience at Tomball Dodge.

Horrible, they don't wanna sell anything

by shortmedic69 on 04/26/2013

DO NOT GO HERE unless you plan on paying near sticker price. I went in after seeing a 2012 truck online I wanted. I had planned on paying cash for it. I went in already knowing the internet price. They came at me with the sticker price after asking for the invoice. I told them no way that I already knew the internet price and wanted to make a deal. I offered them 5 grand less than the internet price Cash and they refused to sell me a truck that has been on their lot for over 15 months and is now over a year old. They have over twenty five 2012 trucks on their lot. I now see why they still have that many and No other dodge dealer in the greater Houston area has any. Don't waste your time going here.

Dealer who actually deals!

by Sakanuts on 03/29/2013

After getting jerked around by Cecil and his cronies at Orange Texas Dodge trying to buy a truck, I traveled to Tomball Dodge. I was able to deal with a professional, Jeff N., who worked hard to earn my business. Probably the best deal I've ever got. Recommend highly.

Great vehicle & great sales staff

by trucknewby on 12/04/2012

I locally for a great price on a Ram 2500 pickup. Then I tried checking prices on the internet and found a great deal at Tomball Dodge. They stood behind their offer and provided and excellent, seemless sales experience. I'm was wary about purchasing a vehicle at a dealer who was over 130 miles away, but they were worth the trip. I would recommend them without hesitation and their internet sales leader Leandre L. Although, he was off the day we picked up our vehicle, he insured that an associate took great care of us. If you live anywhere in the Texas region, I would definitely give Tomball Dodge a chance at your business.

Tomball Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

Thank you Mr. Leandre Liggins for assisting me in the purchase of my 2500 diesel Ram truck. I have never before owned a diesel vehicle. Leandre Liggins is knowledgeable; expaining in detail features of the truck as well as answering questions I had about the truck. I felt he truly wanted to help me. He is polite and friendly, making what could have been a very stressful experience, a smooth process. Thanks again Leandre and The Tomball gang (Chris and Frank). I have been blessed with a new truck and new friends. E. England
