Worst car buying experience of my life

Buying from this dealership was the worst experience, but because I was not able to get my down payment back and because I needed a vehicle I had no choice but to purchase from here. And because I purchased a new car I was not offered a cleaning, wash nor gas. The vehicle was left on the side of the building, I was handed my keys and told “It’s ready! Thanks, bye”. The customer service is ridiculous and they really make you feel worthless for buying a used instead of a new car.

Best customer service!

My husband and I have been looking for a used car for our daughter, who just got her license. We went to several local dealerships, only to be lied to, shown cars above our budget, and made to feel that our $8,000 cash purchase was not worth their time. But, when we walked into World Car Mazda Kia and spoke with Jose "Jet" Tavarez, we were immediately impressed. He wasn't trying to "sell" us on a car. He educated us on the car. He was amazing, patient, and completely devoted to us. He even printed a "sold" note for the car we purchased, congratulating our daughter from us. Then the sales manager came out, just to meet us and talk about our pending purchase. We even met with the service manager, Jeff, who truly listened to our (minor) concerns about the car, and was very genuine with his interaction with us. They have made a customer for life! In fact, I have a "date" with Jet this time next year, to buy a brand new Kia Stinger! Thank you to all who made our used car purchase such an enjoyable experience. And I can promise we will be back, not only for new car purchases, but when the time comes to purchase used vehicles for our 3 younger children. This dealership is the epitome of what all car dealerships should be!

Mauricio got me in a Kia forte when I really needed a new car- he is awesome. He was so helpful and easy to talk to. I told him what I needed and he helped me find the right car for me. The whole experience with the team was great. I took it for its appearance package and the car looks wonderful- I am a happy camper. I will do business with them in the future FOR SURE. Perfect No Hassle Service(Thanks Heather Thrasher)

I recently bought a 2014 Kia Optima from World Car Kia Mazda of San Antonio. It was and easy carefree car buying experience led by Heather Thrasher. Heather was easy going not pushy at all and full of valuable information for me about every car I looked at... I was easily able to find the car that was right for me and at the right price. I love driving it. Thank you for your diligent and tireless efforts to make my car buying experience a great one. Not to mention going out of your way to deliver the temp plates...you are truly a class act and and extreme professional at what you do. I Will definitely be buying my next Kia from World Car Mazda. Customer for life.

Much could be better here

Went in knowing they were just down the street from my work, and came across a vehicle that I actually liked (a 2014 Lancer). Did some research on it, and turns out their price was a bit higher than FMV for a dealer. (Not a big deal, right? That's why you negotiate.) Anyhow, so I start to talk it over with Mary and one of the managers, and they tell me that they 'price to sell' and 'can't negotiate.' Being a reasonable person, I understand that sometimes companies pay too much for their cars, etc., so I thank them for their time and am on my way. At this point, they'd still have a 5 star review, if not for the following: Next day they call me back, asking to have me come in again and telling me that they are willing to negotiate (okay, that happens). I come in, point out FMV, and tell them that is my firm offer. They offer me $250 less than their original asking price (and $300 above FMV). I explain why that is not acceptable, point out the damage on the vehicle, point out a competing offer I have open from another dealer for a newer version of the same vehicle (with lower mileage and a cleaner title) for a fraction more than they're asking ($700 more, to be specific, for a year newer and 30k mi rather than 55k...oh, and automatic rather than manual). I tell them that I will make one final offer...I'll pay them $50 ABOVE FMV, and not a penny more. They wander around helping other people for another 15 minutes, then tell me "you do our price we already gave or no deal." Not only is this a complete waste of my time, but it's insulting. So, THANK YOU for wasting my time, World Car.

Excellent Service

I bought a used Dodge Ram truck back in December 2016. I had seen it online on a Saturday morning, so I called and spoke with Heather Thrasher. She told me they had just posted it and that the reason there were no interior pics was that it had not been detailed. I told her i would like to see the inside prior to driving down there. She told me she would go take some for me and text them to me. She did and I liked the truck, so my wife and I took a road trip to San Antonio. . The whole time Heather was communicating with us and when we walked in the door and we asked for her, the other salesperson said, you must be James, heather is expecting you.. She was not pushy at all and did an excellent job. we feel in love with the truck, and purchased it. As others have posted, the only issue I had was the time it took from us saying yes to getting the papers ready was a lot longer than I thought it should have been. Very Impressed

I am very impressed with the EXCELLENT service from all the staff at World Car Kia, especially from my sales person Mary Melchor who made my experience stress and pressure free. I recently purchased my first new vehicle from World Car and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fast and reliable service. Mary was a wonderful sales woman who treated me with respect, stayed open minded and didn't treat me like just another customer but like a friend. I am very meticulous and Mary kept and open eye making sure my every want/need was met, my new 2016 Kia Optima has all the luxuries I wanted, an affordable payment plan and a very low interest rate all thanks to Mary!!! She took very good care of me and I am extremely satisifed with the outcome of my visit; I HIGHLY recommend her for anyone looking for an outstanding car buying experience!!!

Awesome Service

My wife and I were in the market for a more family friendly vehicle since we now have 3 foster children and one of our own on the way. We found a used vehicle we liked at World Car Mazda. We made contact via the internet, they called several times to ensure me the vehicle was still available since we live in Port Lavaca and would have to travel 2 1/2 hrs to get to the dealership. We brought our oldest foster child with us and everyone treated him very kindly. They helped entertain him as buying a vehicle is a long process. Mary was very nice and helpful during our purchase. I was very leery of driving a good distance to look at a vehicle but the folks at World Car Mazda made it a good experience. Thank you

Excellent Service at the Fredrickburg Location

My name is Phylisha Edouard and I was looking for a car due the fact that my previous car was totaled in an car accident. I had not purchased a cra sine 2007. I looked up online for a Mercedes C250 and I foun one with a little over 6000 miles on it at the4220 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio. I sent in an email late Friday Night and phone them that morning and was greeted by Kelsey Powell. Kelsey Powell was an excellent Sales Consultant. I drove three hours and found out that the vehicle had been sold 3minunets before I got there. However Kelsey being the awesome Sales person she is would not let that be the end. She went and spoke to her General Manager who took it upon himself due to the fact that I had driven three hours to purchase the vehicle, to not only come out an apologize for the confusion but also to allow me to purchase the vehicle. I was so happy I came to this dealership at 4220 Fredericksburg, San Antonio which took a bad situation and made it into an incredible situation. I love my new car and will gladly recommend customers to this dealership. I want to say thank you to the General Manager Jim and Kelsey the awesome Sales Consultant for making me the proud owner of a Mercedes C250.
