Disappointed in the time and expense

Brought a truck in last Thursday due to ALL 60 codes firing off as a fault. They stated they looked at it on Thursday and then needed more time and money to look at it on Friday. Monday afternoon they noticed that a single fuse was causing the whole problem. it would make sense to me that if all codes are firing, then it would need to be a fuse that is prior to all the other fees. That is causing the problem.. Cost $825 in five days of downtime for a single fuse issue. I found this to be excessive in both aspects. Would definitely like to have a better explanation Why the time and money for something that is electrical caused by single fuse and was so hard to diagnose
