Dishonest Dealer

by SamPatel on 10/09/2017

Bought a van for my wife for our 15 year anniversary from Huffines Chrysler. Initial experience with sale person Adam Ortiz was pleasant. As part of the sales the customer receives a "We Owe You" agreement stating items that are negotiated as part of the overall deal. I was supposed to have replacements for two broken external plastic pieces shipped to me once Adam ordered them. Two months later no replacement parts and Adam Ortiz and his floor manager Eddy do not respond back with my repeated inquiries. Once they have your money you are no longer a customer but just a past completed transaction. I have ordered my own replacement parts out of my own pocket. Would have sued for breach of agreement but not worth for how much the parts are. I will say the back office finance rep Mikael Hays is one that I will leave positive feedback on. He is accessible even after the sale with additional warranty services that I purchased. Dishonest dealer for not delivering on written sales agreement. I am telling all of my DFW family and friends not to do business with the Huffines name.

Dont Waste Your Time Or Money

by bwilliams31 on 01/31/2012

Don't waste your time or money! I bought a car from them on January 2nd 2012 and it has been on the back of a tow truck twice since then. I have not even had it a month and haven't even paid the first car payment! When I called my sales the associate, Zac Stanley, to talk about the situation he acted like I was inconveniencing him. He never offered up a solution the first time. I had to tell him what to do. The second time, he told me I was acting unreasonable when I was stranded for the second time in a month in a new car and passed me on to someone else. It was a horrible buying experience and I am still dealing with the fact that I don't have a car that works!

First time buyer, and horrible experience.

by mcollins89 on 07/25/2010

Went into dealership, with hopes of purchasing a new vehicle, but i was sadly mistaken. I originally brought in a trade in, that was priced at $2,000 cheaper than the blue book value, which already had me hesitant, and then the sales pitch started. I had brought my mother in as a co-signer, which I was told gave me some extra help on my deal. First he took our info to his sales manager, and came back with an offer $100 more expensive than I wanted a month, and I denied it. Then he went back, and came back with the same offer. He told me that I needed to come up with another $1500 dollars on my down, to get the payments I wanted, so I left. I spent the next day selling my trade in car, and ended up with the down, I was told I would need. I then called the sales rep back and gave him the news. He told me he would re-submit with the new offer and let me know. Two days of bs later, and I finally called the finance department, only to find out that no paper work had been submitted, and even with upping my down the payments would stay the same with no explanation. Complete waist of time, and so unprofessional. I wouldn't recomend them to anyone.

Typical Sleazy Car Sales

by chigirlintexas on 12/17/2007

I went to Huffhines Jeep in Plano, interested in the 2008 Liberty, They had one with the options I wanted, color, etc. I drove it, and came back a few days later with my spouse to see if we could make a deal. The typical sales shenanigans ensued, starting with an extremely low offer for my trade and then a ridiculous offer for the Liberty itself. I had told the salesman what I expected to pay (since I had done a lot of research online), and he came back with a payment almost $200 more per month, but telling me it was going to be okay, don't worry. He came back after talking to his manager with the same deal he presented the first time. It was a joke. He kept telling me, don't worry, I'm going to give you the deal you want.....then never delivered. Then the sales manager came out to talk to us, and it was more of the same. It was more than just a waste of time; it was insulting to my intelligence. It's too bad; I had heard that Huffhines dealerships were fair to deal with, but I guess there's lousy experiences everywhere. I would not go back to this dealership.

Great experience

by joeh9845 on 11/20/2007

I bought a new Dodge Ram 2500 from Huffines in Plano. They were wonderful to deal with and they were able to get me in this truck cheaper then anywhere else. I will defiantly buy my next truck from them.
