You cannot trust anything they tell you. Whether you are buying or selling your car, avoid Riata Ford at all costs! Riata Ford contacted me and made a “sight unseen” offer for a car I was selling. The offer was a little low, so I asked if they could increase their offer at all. I explained that I was selling the car to cover medical expenses, that I didn’t have the time or luxury for games. The salesman then told me that if the car is as described, he might be able to get me more, but his manager would have to see it in person. Riata Ford is 30+ miles away from where I live. I told them that I would need to take off work to bring it to them. I expressed concern at the idea of adding additional miles to the odometer (it has really low miles and is advertised with specific mileage). I repeatedly stated that I did not want to waste my time with a convoluted sale. He assured me it would be simple and straightforward. When I took the car to the dealership, the manager and multiple other employees complimented the car up and down and acted like they were amazed by the condition. At that point they claimed the best way for them to get the highest price for me was to put the car up on dealer auction. “Don’t worry, it will take an hour or less. But we need to take it in the garage and inspect it.” I should have asked more questions. They made it sound like in an hour they would be able to tell me how much more than the “sight unseen” price they would be able to give me. Not so. After waiting an hour, the salesman came back and told me the car was up on auction and I could leave. He promised to call me within an hour with a new price. I never heard from him again. For two days I tried to contact him via phone, email and text. He ghosted me. He did pocket dial me once by mistake though. I then called the dealership to find out what was happening. Conveniently, everyone involved with the car was “out that day”. The new person checked the auction (I didn’t even know they were still trying to auction the car), and dismissively told me the most they could give me was $6000 LESS than their “sight unseen” offer. The “sight unseen” offer was never real. I can’t say for certain what their strategy was, but it seems this was all just a ploy to try to auction my vehicle and take a percentage of the sale. They tried to exploit my situation, not caring that I’m selling to cover medical expenses, that I had to take off work, or that I had to drive 75 miles round trip. 3 hours of time wasted thanks to their shameless bait-and-switch deception. Do not do business with them!

We all know what an experience buying car can be, having said that I wanted to take time out to write a review about Riata Ford. These folks at Riata were amazing, courteous, friendly, honest, and extreme professionals. I especially want to give kudos to Mike Olguin...prior to me even drivng the truck I bought, Mike and I negotiated on the price of the vehicle and came to an agreement. I showed up, test drove it and liked it so proceeded to do the paperwork. While signing the documents, it became apparent that there was a slight misunderstanding on one of the accessory item pricing that was installed on the truck. I was sure that the price we negotiated included the accessory and he was sure it didn't, so I decided to forego the accessory and live with it. When Mike realized that I was dissapointed, he took it upon himself to include the accessory at no additional cost to me. I was really impressed and grateful for what he did, and further enhanced my impression of Riata Ford. In a day where we see less and less customer service, and everyone buying most everything on line, the folks at Riata still provide the good old fashioned customer service that keeps bringing back shoppers for an amazing experience...way to go!!! Total time spent at the dealership was a little over an hour...Also, wanted to say thank you to Garrett for the amazing service...

Riata Ford's Internet Manager, Dee Yeo, replied to my query promptly, answering fully each of my questions and provided in depth details explaining fully every detail about the 2019 F250 Super Duty Diesel that I purchased from her a couple days later. The final paperwork had no surprises or added fees because she was patient in going over each detail before the signing. This was the most enjoyable vehicle purchase I've ever had and there have been many over the past 45 years. I highly recommend Riata Ford, Manor, TX and Dee Yeo to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. She knows the business, the market and the merchandise better than anyone I've met. What a surprisingly enjoyable process and an incredibly well appointed and functional vehicle! Thank you,Dee! Great working with you to make this deal come together!

Too good to be true. For several years I'd been searching for a particular truck/suv. Recent year, low miles. I found it, posted on Craigslist by Riata Ford. It was on their website too. I decided to have a look. Drove it, looked it over. Seemed great but I wanted my mechanic to check it over. Riata arranged to deliver it to my mechanic and pick it up after the inspection. Without much pressure to buy. Less than any past experience. Things worked out nicely. Truck was great. There was a cosmetic issue that Riata took care of without hesitation. Garret, Sara, and Ryan worked out a great deal and Ryan walked me thru all the paperwork and found great financing. The whole time, they were all friendly, upbeat, and really cared that I was happy with the deal and the process. In past car purchases, I was exposed to every sleazy sales trick in the book. I got none of that at Riata. In the future, I'd go back to Riata without any hesitation.
