New car better than a used

by MSantosB on 06/29/2017

We went in looking at used car and ended up leaving with 2 new Nissan Altima SR Midnight Edition! Chris Guillory is the man to see and so knowledgeable. TJ went above and beyond getting us approved and out of there with what we needed. I recommend anyone looking for a affordable vehicle visit this dealership you wont be let down!

Horrible experience

by SgtMaj2015 on 09/13/2015

My husband decided to trade my car in for a 2015 Nissan Roque as a gift, even financed with Nissan dealership! Everything went super nice, until my husband drove it home, where I noticed the defect. I noticed a 2 inch diameter paint defect left of the license plate covered by a Fort Worth Nissan sticker!! Also noticed small paint chipped off they could not hide by the sticker. Unbelievable! Husband immediately called Chris the sales person, he said he would call in the morning, Saturday of Labor Day weekend, he didn't! Husband called Saturday afternoon, and since Chris was probably too busy selling cars, he spoke to the manager, Dwight. He said Chris will call to have the car taken in Tuesday the 8th August with specific time, to have it fixed. When Chris called, very apologetic, he said to call back Labor Day for the time to turn in the car and receive a rental car. Husband called LaborDay, left a message on voice mail. NOBODY called back. Here comes Tuesday, my husband is calling, numerous people to get an answer, and had to wait for a call back to turn the car in! Seriously! Today is Friday, 4rd day with no new car, no call to let us know the status. And again, husband called just to find out the status, it would have been nice to have our new car over the weekend. After many attempt to speak anyone that could give us an answer, he demanded to speak to the manager Dwight, my husband explained how very very bad this customer service it. Finally Chris calls to let us know tomorrow will be the day to pick up our car, really, 5 days without anyone explaining this might be a while, or give us an update. You have our money, why should we matter now.. That is how we feel, very disappointed and frustrated with Nissan. First time buying a Nissan, probably the last, and will warn consumers to pass up this dealership! Update: Saturday no car, till Monday

WARNING: Bait and Switch!

by goofygrin on 04/15/2012

The pricing online was very good for the car I was interested it. However when I received a call back from my inquiry, I was informed that $1495 of forced dealer add ons was added to every vehicle. This included "paint protection", wheel locks and tint. Obviously this is NOT a $1500 value! There was no changing this policy or removing this straight and unsavory profit from the price of the vehicle. I obviously did not purchase a vehicle from this dealer and any savvy consumer should avoid them as well.

Nissan of Fort Worth is Excellent!

by rushg on 02/21/2010

I never thought buying a new car could be like this! I bought a Nissan Armada at Nissan of Ft. Worth. I walked in there, not expecting much, but they surprised me. My sales guy, Alex, greeted me and got right to work. Took me on a test drive and I was sold! Explained all the features to me because I was trying to decide between two different models. Then we went to the price negotiation part....very surprising! I got a good deal and a fair price on my trade in. The thing about it is, they did not treat me like they were trying to pull one over on me. I knew a little bit about their cars...and they treated me with respect and courtesy. The professionalism of this dealership and the guys that work there made this purchase a great experience.

Fellow Lockheed Employees and Local Teachers: Beware of this Dealership

by newby7 on 08/22/2009

OMG! We are shocked at the deceptive practices of this dealership! The salesmen are [violative content deleted]; they lie, cheat, and steal. We had a deal and they backed out and still kept our deposit. Avoid this dealership like the Plague!!!!!! The tax office was very interested in the fact that they charge customers more for TT&L and put the money in their pockets. The Tarrant County Tax Assessor Collector agrees that a potential audit is in order. Don't do business with these [violative content deleted]!

Very satisfied. Jimmy Sanchez did a find job

by vose on 06/28/2009

I am a difficult and suspicious customer, so anyone who can get a thumbs up from me is worthy of some respect. I EXPECT to be snookered, and I am not so foolish to believe that someone else might have been able to make a better deal, in terms of dollars and cents. However, for me, buying a new car for the first time since 1972, at a price more than double anything I have ever paid before, this is much more than just money. I was very surprised by the patience this young man showed in my questions and when I challenged him on some issues with which I had doubts. He did not back down when I insisted that I questioned the convenience of some of the specials presented on that day. He came across as honest and considerated, and I found that refreshing. He was obviously anxious to make this deal, and I was openly hesitant, but I came away feeling that I was dealt with fairly and honestly. They are in the business of making money, and I cannot fault them for that. They were anxious to move the last of their 2009 cars, but not at anyone's expense... mine or theirs. I think we both came off with a fair deal. I did not find anyone there who was either pushy or rude, including the managers, who were consipicuous by their absense. Others may have found this dealership troublesome. I did not. Maybe I was lucky, maybe they were not lucky, or maybe they are making the effort to improve. Regardless, I am pleased to have met Jimmy, and at this point, would not hesitate to recommend him to others. If I were to say anything negative, at this point, it is the follow-up calls I begin receiving immediately after my first visit. The first one was within 20 minutes of having left the dealership. Since, I have received 3 calls to my work number, after telling them repeatedly to NOT call me at work. Time will tell if they have the nerve to do it again!) (Note that I waited almost a month before posting this, as I wanted to be sure there were no nasty surprised. I think it is time ot post my opinion.)

Horrible Experience

by sfitzwater on 08/14/2008

We are up on 3yr. lease vehicle (05 Pathfinder from a different dealer originally) that we are now purchasing and got the big time bait and switch pulled on us from the finance managers. Interest rate discrepancies, ext. warranty issues (not the plan they told me I was getting), transfer fee of $500 (my bank is $25?)! Just an all around bad experience. To top it off, picked up the car from the service dept. that day after spending $300 on simple maintenance before we hit the road to go to California (from TX) and I double checked their work the next morning and 2 things they charged me for were not done at all! Oil and filter change and a cabin micro-filter replacement. I was floored! Back up to Nissan to pitch a fit and wait another 1.5hr. Service Man. claimed his mechanic did not see the request for the filter because it was on the last page (bull) and claimed the oil filter was dirty because he did that service before the rad. flush and it was dirtied up in the process. Bull again since the oil itself was dirty?! Had them redo all the services and magically the oil was 10X lighter. I change my oil on time and change my own oil all the time and know what clean motor oil vs used motor oil looks like on a dipstick. Left very upset, requested they put labor charges back on my card and left never to return or recommend them to anyone. Bad experience, sloppy service (from both service dept. and sales), and all in 1 day! Very happy I didn't get any ext. warranty because I would never trust them working on my vehicle again!

do not buy from this group....

by sbarber0012 on 12/27/2007

I leased a 2002 xterra from them . I felt I got ripped off on that deal. I went to turn it in and look at another xterra. I was treated rudly when I showed up with my edmunds price sheet. They did not have the color we wanted. My wife left them a 500.00 deposit when it showed up in a day or two. A week later no xterra. So we looked and bought a 2007 highlander. Called thornhiil nissan to get the deposit back for the vehicle that never showed up. I am still waiting for the refund check. Its been close to a year...Not to nention nissan finacial called me up asking for the 12500 payoff for the 2002 xterra. My 2002 xterra only had 43000 miles in four years. I was told I owed nothing buy thornhill nissan. They never turned it in to the finacial dept. I almost had to file a stolen vehicle report due to their stupidity. They are not to be trusted. I like nissans but will never buy another one due to this dealership. They stole my money and tried to ruin my credit.
