Worst Service Ever!

This was the worst vehicle buying experience I’ve ever been through. The process to get pre-approved was easy because I just had to fill out a form online. My salesman “Ab” (Abraham) was personable at the start. He was telling me how my vehicle would be available within a week since it was in transit. He was not mindful about my working hours and I had requested some time off for two separate days. The first day, he agreed to meet with me on a Wednesday at San Marcos, Texas, in mid January 2022 which is a halfway point between the dealership and my residence in San Antonio. Since I had requested time off, I was available that day. He didn’t text me at all during the day which is where the nightmare began. I texted him saying that I would be at San Marcos by 6:30pm or around that time. He texted me like at 6pm saying that he was not going to make it today. I had to persuade him to meet with me like we had intended since I was already ten minutes away from San Marcos right after rush-hour traffic. I waited around San Marcos and ate dinner at a local restaurant. I didn’t receive communication from him until like 9pm saying that he is running late because he got “held up” but I practically had to beg him at this point and told him that it had to be done today since I requested time off from work and I even offered to meet him in Austin, Texas. He ended up meeting me at a Walmart in Austin and I signed a contract for the truck I purchased… or so I thought. He never provided me copies of the contract or paperwork and he took forever to get back to me. I actually had to call him or text him multiple times in order to get a response from him. I even had to speak to a sales manager named Mark several times just to receive some kind of information. The vehicle at the time was listed at around $46,000 on a contract that I had already signed and agreed to. AB told me that he would be able to have my truck transported to my home as well when it comes in. I was told that my first payment would be in March 2022 which I didn’t mind because I thought I was about to have my truck within a week. A few weeks go by and I do not hear from anyone including the manager that said he would check on the status every day. I had to personally call Chevrolet directly because AB would not answer my texts or calls. I just wanted to know where my truck was. I called weekly and bi-weekly to get updated information on my vehicle which is what the dealership should have been doing. I basically did their job for them. So a few months go by and they offered me another truck but I told them that I wanted the one that I signed for and that I would wait. At this point I didn’t even know if they were still going to sell me the truck but I had given up hope. AB calls me late March 2022 saying that my truck was available. He said that he or the dealership would not be able to transport my truck as initially agreed upon. I drove to Elgin, Texas to sign the contract but the price of the truck actually went up about $2,000. There was never any financial compensation or additional compensation for my inconvenience. The sales department at Rush Chevrolet is really lacking communication with their customers and I hope they get retrained on how to do their job. I signed the contract and purchased the truck because of the features and body color. I had reached out to 12 different dealerships before I drove to Elgin because I was hoping I would find the truck I wanted. If any other dealership had the truck I wanted, I would’ve purchased it from them instead. I’m definitely not purchasing anything from them ever again and I’ll let all my friends and family know how horrible this process was.

2021 Chevrolet Spark

I scheduled my 1st oil change online. I received many a confirmation online, text, and voicemail. I arrived 30 minutes early. No one expected me. I had to show my many texts confirming my appointments to prove I am scheduled. I had to prove my appointment. I felt ad though I was an inconvenience.

Lag and poor performance from 2014 Chevy Cruze.

Took the car to two other dealerships. Car has never ran right since shortly after we bought it. No one could fix it and it just got worse and worse. Rush FIXED it the first time!!! the car has never ran better, including when we drove it home the first time.

My First New Car

I came to Rush Chevrolet because I was in desperate need of a new vehicle, but I didnt have high hopes. I heard a radio ad for Rush Chevrolet in Elgin. This was a one stop shop for me in the car search. The process was long and arduous but so well worth it. I got a great salesperson by the name of Bill Ford. Bill walked me through every step of every application process and helped me get to know my new Chevrolet Spark before I drove off the lot. This was my first new car. I'm happy I listened to my gut and the radio ad! You have a great team of people here.
