Aggressive

I purchased a vehicle for an employee as a thank you for being awesome . So I was told the vehicle was ready for pick up so me and my employee go up to the dealer meet at used cars and walk up to the main building . We get there and I was told paper work is ready 5 minutes in and out awesome ! 20 minutes go buy so I walk back to ask for ken in finance gentleman across from kens office said sir can I help you he was staring at me me like I was a price of crap that had just stepped in his hive I asked where ken was he said sir you need to go back to the waiting area in a get the hell out my area we will get to you when we get to you manner. I said so sorry to disturb you and did use the wtf superlative. He walked out of his office walked up to like he was about to assault me face red visibly shaking and said sir you will not use that language in here I apologized and walked away turned and stared at him in disbelief he said son you staring me down I said nope just trying to facilitate in my head what happened . I have sent emails with a hopeful response but have not received any . I buy 2 to 6 vehicle a year since 2009 and now feel that all the changes that have been made at Bill Utter Ford have really let customer service go . Its taken me 2 months to write this review and have sent email left messages about my concern but I have not heard anything or seen a response .they let him leave with out plate on the vehicle said here’s the keys go . I had to drive back up to the dealer to get the plates and put them in the vehicle .

Very poor customer service

We had to deal with 2 different salesmen. I had called twice. And neither one would call me back. The front desk lady was rude as well. When we were in there talking to Saleman and financing gentlemen. We had explained to everyone that we were buying the truck for my work vehicle. And they put the truck in my finance name as the primary not in mine. They did not listen to our needs. No communication. Customer service after the sell was bad. We will not be buying from Bill Utter Ford again.

First time to experience the cliche "sales man experience"

I did my online research into the vehicle that I wanted at this dealership. After five wonderful car buying experiences, I finally had a very poor one at this dealership. The salesman repeatedly promised me multiple things that once I was there in person, I found out were totally false and completely made up. Had I not planned ahead for worse case situation, I would have been stuck at the dealership, an hour away from home with no car, no deal and having to uber home. I reported this at the time I closed on the paperwork, I provided the texts as proof of the lies, and did not receive a call or any acknowledgement at all for the poor sales experience. I would not recommend this for ANYONE. Ridiculous that such poor service and poor performance from a salesman would be tolerated by a dealership of this caliber. Too sad that substandard performance is accepted and thereby encouraged.

Fantastic Customer Service

Today I came in to BUF to find out why I still haven’t received my license plates on my car I purchased back on June 27th 2018. The receptionist Brittany welcomed me and started trying to help immediately. She was able to track down why it has taken so long for the tags to come in. (Car was purchased used and they were waiting for the title). Brittany made sure I was taken care of and assured me that the plates should come in before the new temporary tags (my 2nd ones) expire in January 2019. She did all of this while still handling her regular duties with such professionalism! Thank you also to Kim who also greeted me voiced concern over the long delay. Then put my new temp tag on my car. Great guy!! These two should be commended for outstanding service to your customers. Sincerely, Gayla Howell

No pressure sales. Sales folks are pretty low key, yet very informative on vehicles. I got much more for my trade in than I expected, and certainly a great deal on the new F-150 I purchased. Very pleased with my new truck and the service that comes with it.

Mitch Trimmer

Forget what you normally think of when you hear car salesman. Mitch Trimmer is the car salesman you want to deal with. No pressure, very knowledgeable about the trims, and a witty sense of humor made this car-buying experience enjoyable. When it came to negotiating a final price, Mitch and the Bill Utter team were fair and exceeded my expectations. Denise in the accessory area was also great. You can tell people are happy to work there (which you don't get in other dealerships). Kudos to Bill Utter and staff.

Long Distance Purchase

Adam R. was amazing to deal with. I found my 2012 Mustang Convertible listed on their website, we decided to make the purchase. We live 5 hours away and Adam went the extra mile, processed everything over the phone and as we pulled in at closing time, our car was waiting for us with just a few minutes of paper work to complete. Great service

I just had repairs done to my truck at Bill Utter Ford. Assistant Service Manager Stephen L. met me right away in the service bay when I drove in and I have to say I am very pleased with the work, the service and the quick turnaround time. I was very pleasantly surprised at the low cost for the repair and want to express my appreciation to all those who had a hand in it and especially to Mr. L. who kept me advised on the status of the warranty coverage and the repair. I have been a devoted Ford owner for over 30 years. The friendly professionalism, the care of the customers and the attitude of the dealership was noticeable. This is the second time I have done business with Bill Utter Ford. I have been very satisfied both times. I will be returning to the dealership for my new vehicles and service. Steve Tennyson

Great Customer Experiance

This is the 2nd time attempting to write this review. We shopped all over the metroplex and were headed the WOODS Buiick GMC in Denton and only stopped by because we saw a 2012 Taurus online. We had quite a few choices between 2013 Fords Edge and Taurus, Lincoln MKX, Buick's LaCross and Enclave and GMC's Acadia. While test driving all of these vehicles one of the salesmen from another dealership mentioned that Ford was offering additional discounts above the 2013's. We stopped by just to see the car and be on our way. We did and went to the other dealership, although the salesman wasn't happy about a potitial sale walking out the door. I explained that the best deal for the best vehicle was going to earn my business. We took out the LaCross first and the car road very well but the AC didn't even move or daughter's hair in the back seat, so we passed and moved to the Enclave, wow Buick has sure come along way in the build quality. The CUV road great, fit us well and had plenty of options. Definitely near the top of our list. Next was the Acadia, it was an instant pass, noisy is how we best describe the CUV. So at the top was the Lincoln MKX by far followed by the Taurus and Enclave. So now for the money part, if money was not an issue the Lincoln would be the one,, but money always plays into the decision so the payments now come into play. Both the Lincoln and Enclave were the same payment and the Taurus was a $100 per month less due to the incentives. Because all dealerships new we were shopping they all did their best but we kept going back to Bill Utter (4 times) and comparing the others to the Taurus, and the car kept betting the others in ride, the salesman understood and kept saying do what you think is best for your family. We did and bought the Taurus from Bill Utter.

Wow....fast, fair, inexpensive

I have been looking for a Fiesta for my daughter to take to college. I've purchase several cars in the past and gotten mostly good deals through a rigorous and draining process. On a lark, I used edmunds to request a quote from multiple dealers. While most places responded with mis-direction and vague promises, Bill Utter Ford responded inside an hour with a quote for a Fiesta equipped exactly as I listed, at a price that was under the edmunds TMV. Through the email contact I set up an appointment the next day. There was no back-sliding or attempts to switch. The money was set at a reasonable level, and I spent an hour or so touring the facility, meeting the great employees that support this top notch dealership. There was nothing left to do but make a deal. The specific car will be transferred this week, and I expect this to be the beginning of a great car buying/owning experience. This is not a place that reorganizes and switches key staff every other month, but rather a place that long time employees can be proud to work. I expect that staff is treated with the same courtesy and respect as potential customers. It pleases me to see a family owned dealership prosper with these values.

Being a first time buyer

I went to Bill Utter Ford, after leaving another dealership, and was greeted with a big smile by Jared Sanders. He was very polite, kind and courteous with his greeting. I told him about the whole situation about the other dealership and he said "well lets see what we could possibly help you out with then here." We sat and talked about what we had discussed at the other dealership and he did say that "well if they could only do the best at that mark, then we might be able to do that." I said ok and then told him what I was looking for, he then introduced me to the 2010 Ford Focus, which was a very nice little car and we discussed all the options they had to offer at that dealership. One thing that he said which I was really really pleased with this comment is, "I don't want to run and ruin your credit and sell you a car that you are not 100% satisfied with, so I want to make sure that before we run the application, to tell me if this is the car for you." Now that part made me feel good because that rarely happens at a lot of dealerships and that told me that he wanted my business. So the car that I test drove I liked the feeling of it, but it was missing a few things I would of liked more, so he helped me look for the car that I would have liked. Unfortunately, they didn't happen to have the car that I wanted on the lot, BUT a friend of mine who happened to work there, Kitty Fallen, found the car that I was looking for at another dealership and both Jared and Kitty did there best to get that car over to Bill Utter just for me. I went ahead and sat down to go ahead and do the credit application. Best news I have heard all day was that I was APPROVED!!! By the way, I did this on my own with out a co-signer because I already had well enough credit established, just for consideration purposes. I was so excited that I had a smile on my face the remainder of the day. They told me that the car would be there the next day so after getting off of work the next day, I went to go and sign all the paper work with them. Don the financial man who helped me with that answered all my questions without any hidden quotes. He was straight up forward with me, and I really enjoyed that! After everything was done, my brand new Ford Focus was sitting right outside for me to drive it off the lot and I couldn't hardly wait!! I thank all the people that work at Bill Utter Ford for taking care of me like a very valued customer, and if anyone who is reading this review, I recommend Bill Utter Ford 100%! Also I recommend that you be helped by either Jared Sanders or Kitty Fallen. Two people who I will do business with anytime!!!

Excellent Customer Service

My wife and I have been searching on Autotrader for almost a month looking a SUV for our family. We decided the Ford Explorer was the way to go, so we started looking and calling other dealerships about their Ford Explorer's to see which dealerships would give us the best price. Unfortunately, the dealerships that had the Ford Explorer's were a good 75 to 150 miles away from us. So I tried calling different dealerships to hopefully talk to a sales person that would work with me on price to give us a reason to drive the distance and possibly purchase a vehicle. About 90% of the sales people from these different dealerships would either, not come down the price at all, act rude and some would not even call me back about giving me their best price on a vehivle, except for one. I happened by chance to see this ad from Bill Utter Ford in Denton Texas about a 2009 Ford Explorer from the Autotrader website. It was 72 miles away and I had pretty much given up hope trying to ask another sales person on the phone to give me a good deal on a vehicle. I called one of the sales person name Phil and I tell you what, he did a fantastic job in answering every question and worked with me to get the Ford Explorer down on a price that I wanted to pay. In all my car buying experience, this was the most pleasant and unpressured buy that I ever did. I am very pleased with my purchase and very thankful for the Bill Utter staff treating my family like a valued customer. I would highly recommend Phil in helping you purchase a vehicle. He did an outstanding job. Thank you Bill Utter Ford for a delighful experiance!!!!!

Buying a truck at Bill Utter Ford was one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences that I have had. Everyone that was involved in the sales process was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even when I came back to get the tags, they were friendly. They treated me like I was in to buy another vehicle. Our salesman, DoyleChaffin, was attentive and courteous, even when we did not go in there to buy a car. He answered our questions, ran the numbers over and over for us and was very patient and he did not pressure us in the least. I would definately buy a car from Bill Utter again. I love them!!!!!
