Redefining the pre-owned car purchasing experience

We recently bought our 5th car from Texas Cars Direct and the reason that we keep coming back is the service! This place absolutely redefines the "pre-owned car" buying experience. Pete and his group of salesmen are top notch. Our most recent deal was handled by Kyle who treated us like we were was his only customers, even though I know they do a lot of business there and he most certainly did have many other customers. In the case of our most recent purchase, we reserved a car that was "coming soon" and the arrival and make-ready process to just a bit, but Kyle was on top of things and kept us apprised of the process. The indoor lot is amazing and just plain fun to visit. You never feel any sales pressure (at all) and the cars (typically ranging from almost new to 3 or 4 years old) ALL look pristine. . .like a new car lot, reflecting their high standards. Once you decide on a car, there are no shenanigans and it has been our experience that they can have you out the door and on your way to dinner in about an hour. We've had great luck with all of our cars from TCD and cannot recommend them highly enough. We will most certainly be back for our next purchase!

I came in , knew what I was looking for Kyle was very helpful & patient with me , he kept in touch & kept me updated with the vehicle . I really wanted the car & his great customer service made me trust him even more. I also has was pre approved with my bank but Texas auto beat the rate & gave me a better deal. Thank you I love my car (Mercedes Benz c 300)

Great Inventory and Sales Experience

We’ve been customers of Texas cars direct since mid 1990s. We just made fourth car purchase from them yesterday. It’s always a pleasure. I love my Mercedes C300. Make sure to put a refundable $1k deposit on the car you think you might like. They sell fast. Many times, they are reserved before the car gets to showroom.

I bought a 2015 Mercedes GLK350 from Texas Cars Direct. I didn’t know them and I am an out of State buyer. I did some checking and read the reviews so I felt comfortable moving forward. The entire process was simple an painless. The car was as described and arrived faster than expected. I had it shipped since I am in Illinois. No pressure sales and quick follow up. I will definitely work with them again when I need another car.

My experience with Texas cars direct was one of inconsistences, poor customer service and nonchalant customer relations. Even though the product was great the delivery was very bad.

So, the car that I wanted was posted on July 4. I called at 9am on July 5. No answer. Thought why not call at 9:05. No answer. Fine, waited until 9:15, no answer. 9:30 no answer. 9:45 no answer. 10, no answer. Thought, lets try texting. finally called me back and texted me back at 11:30. My text was, I am planning on buying a plane ticket to come look at the car. That is me saying, I want to buy the car. They come back to me and leave a message. We just got the car and it is in intake and should be ready in 7-10 days. I then try to work with him with are the tires and brakes good. Response. Im not sure. We just purchased it and havent been able to look at it yet. (Then why is it listed on three separate websites.) So, I call and I talk to Adam. Hey, I want to come and look at the car. I get the same story, well we just got it and it wont be ready. He said he couldnt do anything until it is through intake. I then ask how I can get that expedited. He said it is what it is (paraphasing that one). So, I was like how do I reserve it. He said that once it comes out of intake, you can reserve it for 1 day for $1000 and 5 days for $2000. I was like can someone call me after it gets ready, I will come down. Well, called again today and spoke with Kyle trying to get a timeframe for me to fly over and buy this thing. Guess what, well someone put a deposit on this one. What the crap... This is the worst customer experience i have had in a long time. It would be fine if I was ordering a bowl of chili, but no, this is trying to give them $26k. Do not shop here. It is not worth it.

Kyle was fantastic, I had already picked out a few SUV’s I was interested in but due to our current trade in I was unsure how it would work. He was so efficient in breaking down the financials for us and very knowledgeable on all the loans! We decided on a car that same day, picked it up two days later (due to our time restraints.) It was a quick and easy process of signing and getting my new Mercedes! I can not thank Texas Cars Direct enough for the customer service provided! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a luxury car to go directly to them!

This place is the only place I will ever buy a car from. They have the best quality cars for the best price. The staff is extremely friendly, and they make the process so easy. They do not treat you like a regular car sales guy. They didn’t pressure me, they let me test drive on my own, and they didn’t use sleezy sales pitches. They let me pick the one I wanted, and the price was so reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Kyle Murphy and Mike Creech were fantastic. Great guys!
