Do NOT miss out on a great opportunity!

I found a 2022 BMW 5 series sedan on Edmonds.com. And based on the reviews I almost missed out on a gorgeous car and excellent service from my salesman Carrien Echols. This was my FIRST time ever buying a vehicle online and he walked me through the process. Carrien is a professional, kind, and knowledgeable of the car that I purchased. Please check this dealership reviews on Google as well. The whole team from day on took exceptional care of me.

Typical 50 shades of grey from this dealer

Just bought a Volvo xc90. Car is great but they don’t get credit for that. They presented the purchase agreement and surprised me with a $1495 WPP fee. Not disclosed anywhere on their website and I called in advance and drove from a few hours out. Not only having an appointment and talking to the sales guy a couple days prior the car wasn’t even cleaned up and washed when we showed up. After we haggled through their BS fee they went to “detail” the car. NOPE!! They made us wait two hours so they could install a GPS device in the car that they said was already in it. We were waiting with our young children and I only realized all this until after when we got in the car and I could tell the OBD port was messed around with. These people should be ashamed of themselves. I would never return this dealer, at closing it was the typical hard sell on a warranty. I paid cash to avoid even more BS from the “finance” guy who looked to be even worse then the sales guy who I could tell was somewhat embarrassed by the tactics of the dealer he worked for.

Touche' on Shady practices - Buyers Beware

They don't deserve your business go elsewhere. You've been warned. After I had recieved a signed buyers order I wanted a pre inspection. The salesman recommended a business, but after some research of "bad reviews" mostly that that company didnt check anything just kicked the tires, I asked that the car be transported to Audi for a pre buyers inspection. They agreed as this would be at my expense. The price was right and any issues would not have been a problem because of the car fax just had to be sure. So I went ahead and signed the buyers order and sent to my credit union. My credit union reached out to their finance department and the buying process began. They dropped the car off on a Thursday and Audi let them know the vehicle would have to stay overnight. Everything was good. I'm excited. Keep in mind I'm 4 hours away buying a car sight unseen. I get a call the next day on Friday from Audi saying Wells Auto Group sent a third party inspector to attempt to inspect the vehicle while it was still in their shop. Audi said this was very unusual and I should caution these type of practices. The service manager said "they are attempting to sell the car from under you". I then call Wells Auto Group and I asked to speak with store manager to find out what was going on. And thats the straw that broke my back. Paul was very unprofessional, over talking and demeaning, threatening to hang up in my face multiple times and told me a signed buyers order or check from my credit union didnt mean anything. Cash or their financing takes precedence no matter how far along I was in purchasing the vehicle. I asked what would it take to hold the vehicle he said no amount of deposit can hold anything. Cash is king and if they have a potential cash buyer everyone else gets crapped on no matter if we've signed documents or not. With those words I called Audi and let them know I would no longer need the inspection although it had been completed. Audi of Dallas said they would never do business with Wells Auto Group again. I found a newer less mile Audi S8 with an immaculate service record on Carmax and saved myself the hassle. Carmax knows how to treat the customer. They have reasonable extended warranties and every penny that they made was well worth it. No matter how good a price is my respect won't be comprised.

Shady Business

I can NOT believe what just happened at this dealership. We were excited and ready to purchase a vehicle. BUT... We spent two hours to get to the point of... no deal at all... even AFTER negotiations and terms... after signing most documents. Why? Because they refuse to honor the word of their salesperson, who knew (and we have witnesses) that the vehicle we were purchasing had a significant coolant leak. From the start to the bitter end... it was known that the leak would be repaired before we took delivery. In the end... again, AFTER I had already signed several documents in the finance office... they decided that they would NOT fix the leak, but only “refill with coolant”... thereby not honoring their word... and then try and send us on our way. Wow. Shady. This was likely because I am a decent negotiator and then also refused to purchase their third party warranty, meaning they would not be getting that extra commission. When I refused, the finance guy’s entire demeanor changed. Sadly, the manager left the dealership during our negotiations and left the finance guy holding the deal... who proceeded to shred the documents we had already signed. WELLS AUTO GROUP: The vehicle was to be delivered on Monday or Tuesday of the following week... after the leak was repaired. YOUR representatives came up with that. Not me. We were disappointed that there was this UNDISCLOSED MAJOR PROBLEM that WE DISCOVERED... so we couldn’t drive it home for this reason and agreed to, a) have you deliver it, or b) salesperson offered to meet us halfway after the repair had been completed. Now, WHY would we not just drive it home same day if the problem was only “low coolant” and you were only going to refill it with coolant? Why would anyone agree to a deal on any vehicle... especially an intricate German engineered vehicle... knowing that the dealer expected us to buy on the spot WITH a significant coolant leak? We wouldn’t. And we didn’t. We had a two and a half hour drive home after this disaster. Plenty time to consider... 1) What if I were not an intelligent and informed buyer? 2) At what point did the dealership REALLY decide to be dishonorable? Before or after we showed photos of how significant the coolant leak is? Before or after we declined the warranty add-on of over $5k? 3) How many others have you sold a vehicle to KNOWING of significant problems? 4) How far down I-35 in the middle of the dark evening would we have driven before the vehicle completely stopped due to your negligence? 5) How many other customers will actually suffer the fate we would have... when the vehicle would surely have finally stopped on the side of the highway, dead due to an undisclosed major mechanical issue? 6) Does anyone in charge of this dealership have any integrity? Buyer beware.

Service

Purchased a 2012 Audi Q5. Purchasing process was quick and good, however, no update on tags after 30 days other than being told you have a 60 day paper temp tag. And the service center they use for oil changes overfilled the oil in the Audi (they don't come with oil dipstick) which caused the low oil pressure warning to come on. Had to take my car to an Audi dealer for them to troubleshoot warning and was told oil was overfilled so they had to drain and refill oil for the cost of another dealer oil change. Costly disappointment.

Everyone in this dealership is very friendly and very helpful. I flew all the way from the east caost to buy this specific car and it was everything they said it was. After speaking to nia, jose and Frank on the phone they got everything ready for me the day I came and got the paperwork done. they pick me up from the airport had the car ready and deal was done just like that.

PORSCHE PANAMERA

Purchased May 11, 2018 what was to be my DREAM CAR for my 50th BIRTHDAY. Two weeks in the check engine light comes on, I call Wells Auto and spoke with Finance Manager (Frank) who agreed to the repairs for a TUNE-UP totaling 300.00 plus. Now you would think they would have done this before placing the car for sale along with an OIL CHANGE. Because just 1 week later another light comes on for LOW OIL/OIL CHANGE, I didn't bother worrying Wells Auto (Frank) because at this point I didn't want to appear to come across as petty/worrisome buyer. I have had this car little over 2 months the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT has returned, this time it's the FUEL PUMP totaling $1976.00, I call Wells Auto (Frank) and I'm basically told if we repair every car returned within 2 months we would be out of business, but I will pass the message on to the owners. No return call nor a response to my site message to Wells Auto Group. What I have learned since buying this Porsche Panamera is the a DIAGNOSTIC CHECK can be given and the readings can be re-set to appear the car has no issues. Hmmmmmm, could it be I was sold a car that I have driven only on the weekends (PLEASURE CAR) since I've taken ownership and less than 900 miles... This was to be my DREAM CAR and I appeared very nervous upon delivery of vehicle and (Frank) said to me "Don't Worry You're Getting A Good Car", him saying that SOLD ME and I felt confident with my purchase. Although the car is beautiful with very low miles it has been nothing shy of GOOD to me. I have spent restless nights and worry since taken the first CHECK ENGINE LIGHT appeared and now I'm at a 3rd with NO HELP from Well Auto Group (Frank/The Owners). My suggestion to any BUYER (S) take any HIGH MAINTENANCE car in to “your” trusted mechanic for a true diagnostic reading to avoid this nightmare. The world of a safe car buying NO LONGER EXIST, folks seem to be in the business for themselves. I have to wonder if this had happen to him (Frank) what his take would be if he was forced to shell out more money for a car he has just purchased. #notGOODBUSINESSPRACTICE

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!!!!

After driving 400 miles and test driving and looking at multiple cars at multiple dealerships, we finally found a Mercedes we wanted to look at Wells Auto Group. I gave them a call to make sure the vehicle was still available and talked with Faris, which would also be our salesperson upon arriving. Faris was very nice and also texted me the address to the dealership so I could easily Google the directions. Upon arriving at the dealership everyone was very nice and accommodating to my family. Faris was very quick to have the Mercedes up front and ready to test drive within minutes of us arriving. After the test drive, my wife was in love with the car so we went back to close the deal. Back inside the dealership we met the owner and several of the sales staff in the waiting room and all were extremely nice. Faris and I discussed a deal and within 45 minutes, everything was agreed upon, signed, & we were out of the door. This was easily the fastest and best car buying experience I've ever had. I will definitely be buying another car from them in the future.

I had a great experience purchasing a vehicle here. Honestly, this team is amazing. I purchased a Maserati and I took a trade in that was a good truck but, it needed a lil painting. Between Nia as my saleswoman and the owner of the car lot, they worked with it and I drove on back to Louisiana just as happy as I want to be. If you're shopping for a car I would suggest you start there first. Nia, you were great!!!

Horrible

Horrible customer service. They sent me on a wild goose chase. Could not get in contact with the owner and my phone calls kept going to voicemail. Will not go back here again to ever purchase a car.

Outstanding service

We purchased a very clean 2010 Ford Escape from Wells Auto Group. My son took it for a test drive and really liked it. They gave us a fair price and excellent service. Then, literally "Lemon Car joke" happened as the car lost power on the highway 20 minutes after leaving the dealership; luckily, Wells Auto Group was amazing! We took the car back and Wells fixed the issue quickly and thoroughly. We would recommend Wells Auto Group to anyone!

Bad Experience

I sat in the office with the finance manager, made an offer on a vehicle, finance manager countered, I accepted, and we began the process of purchase. After 20 minutes or so, the manager came back in and stated that an employee had offered $300 more at the same time that he was unaware of and asked me to match it. I said, OK, I'll pay the extra $300. After waiting another 20 minutes, I am told that the internet is down (it had been raining very hard), and apologized for the delay. I waited another 15 minutes and was told that he wasn't sure how long it would take for the internet to come back up and that he would be in touch. This was at 11am on a Saturday. I didn't hear anything back on Saturday and they were closed on Sunday. I didn't hear anything on Monday so I reached out to them that evening. I was told that the internet was still down. Same story on Tuesday and Wednesday (I had to call, no communication from Wells Auto Group). On Thursday morning, I sent a message asking for an update to the finance manager. No reply. Finally on Thursday night, I wrote the finance manager and told him I was highly disappointed in the way I was treated and the lack of communication, and that my feeling was that the vehicle was sold to the employee or some other person who offered more money. I also mentioned that I would not be buying a vehicle from this dealership. He wrote back and apologized for the lack of communication and that he was so bogged down from the internet being out for 5 days. The next day (today), I noticed that the vehicle is listed as 'sold' on their website. Interesting. I'm sure they are good people, as they have many good reviews. I have purchased many cars in my life (more than my wife would like)....and I have never, ever had anything like this happen to me at a dealership. You be the judge.
