Tradeline Motorcars

My wife and I arrived at Tradeline to look at a car, but we weren't sure if we were going to buy. All of that changed due to the incredible customer service from my salesman, the manager, and the owner. The sales manager, Bob Shoemaker, did a great job of earning my business by doing everything he could to address any issues I had with the car, get me what I was looking for on my trade, and giving me a very good price for the car I was looking at. The process was smooth, efficient, and had me extremely impressed. These guys are what all dealerships should strive to be like. There was never any pressure or feeling like they were trying to be greedy. I would love to buy from them again!

WARNING!! WARNING!! STAY AWAY FAR AWAY from this place. We traveled from Corpus Christi to purchase a truck from this place. We put 10,000 cash for downpayment and they told my husband he was approved took our money and gave us the truck. A week later they call saying they got approval from another bank with a cheaper payment and rate and that he needed to go in to sign papers. He is self employed so had to stop work to travel up to Carrollton to sign paperwork on new finance company. Then that following Wednesday Bob the manager calls him again saying they got another bank to finance but this time the payment and term/rate was higher and they wanted my husband to go back and sign papers again. My husband then told them no he wasnt going to do that deal and dont understand how they could keep changing banks like that. Bob then told him ok then he could take the truck back and they would refund us our downpayment. We drive up to Dallas once again my husband having to miss work to go return the truck. When we get there another guy in the office asks for the keys acting like he was going to check out the truck then Bob tells my husband that he is not going to give him the downpayment back because the bank called him stating his checks are fake. My husband owns his own construction business how can they be fake when he is the boss and pays himself. So then Bob is stating that the police department in Dallas wants to press charges on my husband for fraud checks and that his bank wont give him the money back to give to us and that they are holding it. When my husband told Bob well if he did something wrong then to call the police right there and then, but Bob did not want too. So my husband and I walked out and then called the police ourselves. Everything that Bob had said was a lie we even called the banks that we supposedly got approved from and they all said they never received any paperwork from this dealership in regards to getting financed. We have gotten our lawyer involved and sent the dealership our demand letter. As we can see this is not the first time this dealership has used the fraud checkstub excuse. I hope they do right by returning our downpayment money but I warn you to stay away from this dealership and go elsewhere with trustworthy people.

Abel Segovia went above and beyond to take care of my wife and I !!! We went to several dealerships weren't able to facilitate needs of a Navy Family, although we often hear the catch phrase "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE". we're often treated poorly when it comes to our basic needs....But not at Tradeline Motor Cars. God bless Abel, Tradeline and most assuredly God Bless America!!!!

Very poor experience with sales associate Mike Ervin, who was both vulgar and condescending. I’ve never had such an unprofessional interaction with a salesman. Buyer beware.

Tradeline Motors This is my first negative review of any business or product. I’m in my 40s and give every business the benefit of the doubt. Anyone can have a bad day or a bad batch of production. Tradeline Motors is the exception to this, I was lied to on multiple occasions throughout a month long ordeal. We had to ask our bank (USAA) to contact Tradeline multiple times on our behalf. Ryan at Tradeline hung up the phone on me after explaining he was the acting manager and would not assist in refunding payment. Facts: 1. We never took possession of the car. 2. Told car was being detailed and car was not ready 3. Told car’s AC not working, car not ready 4. Told car’s engine light came on ,car not ready 5. Told piston is damaged, car not ready 6. Told cylinder is damaged, car not ready 7. Asked for a refund for vehicle not delivered, told it would happen immediately. 8. Two day later told refund was in process. 9. Five days later told refund would happen by end of business. 10. Two weeks later, refund still not yet given, told one of the owners has gone on a Vegas vacation. Hung up on. 11. Had to get USAA involved. 12. One month after car not being delivered, no return phone call from owner (requested 6 times), the bank received a refund. Small dealerships are throughout Texas save yourself and your bank the aggravation of dealing with people like this. If you do business with Tradeline, ask them about my experience. I am sure their response to this review will be full of smoke, mirrors, and feigned concern. Buyer beware, you can do much better.
