Liz Roop helped me after a very difficult decision to file for bankruptcy, I didn’t know that keeping or “reaffirming” the old debt of my car payment would not help me to rebuild my credit until I spoke with her. Not only was she polite, but Liz is probably one of the most hard working women I know. As a career woman myself I have the utmost respect for her and Sames Bastrop, my experience securing funding for a new car, the selection of my new car and even down to the smallest detail of having my new plates mailed to me… I would absolutely recommend this dealership to my friends and family who are in the market for a new car, even if they aren’t in the same financial situation that I was in!

Salesman and Finance were very friendly and easy to deal with. We bought two vehicles. There were no dealer add-ons or markups. I did my research before I went in, on one vehicle we got KBB price, which I expected, on the other vehicle, we got better than recommended KBB price.

The folks at Sames Ford in Bastrop, TX made this one of the easiest car buys I have experienced. We told our salesperson the type vehicle that interested us and he gave us a ride on a golf cart to the vehicles that matched our desire. We picked our car and were soon on our way in a new Edge. It always takes some time to get paperwork done, but the folks at Sames made sure we were comfortable all the while. Even though we arrived at Sames late in the day, we were able to drive away in our new car that same day. Oh, and the price was great, too!

Oil change

This is the second oil change I had done on my 2015 F250 Super Duty. When I purchased the truck the oil fluid was at the second hole then I did my first oil change and they only filled it midway between the 2 holes. I brought it back and then they filled it to the second hole stating that it was low. Then on the second oil change it happened again but this time when I brought it back in they said that is what is recommend. The problem I have with this dealership is being inconsistent. I read the owners manual and it states anywhere between the bottom hole an top are correct. So why I ask did the truck come off the assembly line filled to the second hole and why did I bring they filled it to the second hole on the 1st oil change but not the second.

It was a pleasure buying our new SUV from Sames Ford in Bastrop from the time we started looking to the final signing of paperwork. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Sames Ford to my friends and the 2016 Edge Titanium we bought is an excellent vehicle! Our sales person was Chester (same fellow we had when we bought our 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium) and we couldn't have had a better one. We totally enjoyed our buying experience with Sames Ford of Bastrop!

Honestly, I was on my way to Austin to look at buying a totally different car. I had a friend who told me to test drive a Ford Fusion before making any decision. So, on my way to Austin, I pulled into Sames Ford and was quickly welcomed by Michael Ochoa. I quickly explained I was ONLY wanting to check out a Ford Fusion I had found on the website. Michael gave me the option to test drive the car and off we went. I was so surprised at the way the Fusion drove and how roomy the car was. I needed to purchase a car with better gas mileage than the car I currently own, which is a Ford Mustang GT. I immediately knew my time was too valuable and the Ford Fusion was the car for me. The most important part, I was never "pressured" or felt uncomfortable during our negotiation process. In fact, we laughed and it made the experience awesome. Needless to say, I am now the proud owner of the most beautiful Ford Fusion and felt that I truly was important to them and NOT just another sales deal. In fact, I took a stack of Michael's business cards to hand out to friends who might be looking for a new or used vehicle. Again, let me stress, I thought I had to travel to Austin to get a good deal, but Sames Ford allowed me to get a great deal and more importantly, I'm proud to say, I shopped and bought locally!!! Keep up the great work and most importantly, keep the sales ethics you have. I never once felt pressured, because this was MY DECISION!! Thank you and yes, you have a new customer and will be sending my friends your way in the future and when I need to trade-in, I'll be back. Thank you, Crystal Williamson

I enjoyed my experience at Sames. The customer service was great! They made sure I was 100% happy and comfortable with my decision. The only thing i wasn't too happy about is that I took my car on Friday to have it detailed because it was too late Thursday, and when I got it back it still didn't look like it was detailed at all. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I have a 2013 Ford Fusion that had a safety recall issued. Took it to Sames and the service team was very friendly and informative. I appreciate the informative part especially. Apparently the Fusion was also linked to another recall and the team took care of that also. I would have liked to be told about the 2nd service recall before they worked on it since I was waiting in the lobby. Only thing I seriously didn't like about Sames, was the large group of sales men huddled together in the entryway. I pulled up and all of them were watching me. I wasn't a comfortable feeling.
