Sold me an unsafe car while I was almost 9 mos pregnant, wouldn't return calls when it was found to be a total piece of garbage. The repairs so far have been almost half of what we paid for the car. I would NEVER recommend buying a used car here.

My wife and I bought a new 2015 camaro SS from Serra in Madison. In the first 6000 miles it lost 8 quarts of oil, and we couldn't figure out where we were losing the oil. We took the vehicle in and were told by Steve our salesman that it seemed normal and that his 2008 jeep leaks a quart every thousand miles. After insisting that he was completely (and yes he is completely wrong) it's not normal for a new car to lose a quart of oil every 800 miles approximately based on my math. So we were finally sent to service where they only agreed to change the oil and start a consumption test. Because as we all know people make up stuff like this all the time, and all of the information on the Internet concerning GM's active fuel management system problems and how it's connected to oil massive oil consumption is all just made up also right? Well once the oil was changed the oil loss went away for about 1000 miles...... Then, we find puddles of oil under our brand new Camaro. So now the speculation on my part, what we are going to do from here,and what you should do as a consumer. We are going to take the vehicle to Freeland we haven't decided yet. I'm going to watch them drain our oil into a container and have it tested for whatever was put into our brand new camaros motor without our permission to stop the leak for the 1000 miles that it didn't leak after the oil change. Remember we couldn't find the oil leak before it went to their service Dept. Now we have puddles on the ground from what is presumably a blown rear main seal from the addition of a sealant additive. These people are dishonest in my opinion and I'm entitled to that opinion. Our car was manufactured in Canada from what the door sticker states so much for American manufacturing huh? Ed the service manager is rude and inciteful and provoked an already irate customer in my opinion. Steve our salesman in my opinion is not truthful and he makes excuses in an attempt cover up this mess Serra created by not properly addressing the situation and potentially damaging our vehicle further. The dealership in general is poorly ran and seems like a bill Heard type of outfit in my opinion. Why you the consumer should do is steer clear of Serra Chevrolet. You should consider buying a different brand all together actually. Chevrolet should have died long ago and were it not for the US government they would have. My wife wanted and SS really bad and I of course wanted her to get an Audi. My 2015 Audi A-6 lost 1/2 a quart of oil in the first 3000 miles and hasn't lost a drop since. That 1/2 quart can be connected to the seating of the internal parts and distribution of oil into areas where it wasn't already. So if you need a new car buy an Audi, buy a Ford, buy a Mazda, but if you must just absolutely buy a Chevy do not buy it from Serra. You WILL be disappointed! Don't trust them they are in my opinion all [non-permissible content removed] they serve because they do not serve the customer. Serra = horrible customer service in my opinion. We will see them in court if I have my way and they will pay dearly for their lies, excuses and attempts to pass the buck all the while hurting the customers that keep them in business. I neglected to mention their false claim of a 4.7 star rating on their website. Just look on the Internet and not their site to debunk their claim
