Waste of Time

Contacted them about getting a Civic and was run through multiple people giving me a bunch of spin. The primary salesperson lied to me outright a few times. I don't think they realized that I'm sitting here and can see the inventory myself. I was told the color I wanted was sold before getting to the lot, yet over the next few days it still magically showed as "in transit." Truth be told, they just wanted to try and pressure me into buying one of the white ones they had in stock. Then "somehow," the salesperson says that he just "found out" another one had been ordered and was due to be delivered. How convenient. Keep in mind the original one had been "in transit" the entire time, so it was just all a tactic to dump a color I didn't want on me. They mistook desire for desperation apparently. Fast forward to when it finally gets delivered, and after explicitly telling them multiple times I did NOT want any of their packages on the vehicle, they decided to install it anyway. The package they installed included three accessories, paint/interior protection, pinstripe (wow what a deal), a "free" 10yr/150k mile limited engine warranty (because Honda engines are so unreliable, right?), free car washes free for life, and first schedule maintenance. Absolutely NONE of this pushes the actual value above even $750, and this is a $4k package. The three accessories (mud flaps, floor mats, and trunk tray) are the only things worth buying, and I did NOT want mud flaps. Of course, calling this out I get the "sorry for the confusion." They straight up ignored my desires after giving them a $500 deposit and figured they would just leverage me to get the package. Wrong. And if we had made it to financing, the loan would have undoubtedly been packed or some other tactic pulled. I would pay $4k over MSRP for a non-bullcrap deal start to finish that simply gives me what I want with the financing for which I actually qualify... and not financing where somehow all loan calculators in existence cease to function accurately. I didn't even cross the start line, and they started piling it on. This dealer reinforces every stereotype. Buyer beware.

Poor customer service

It's unfortunate to write a poor review on something that could have been worked out. I purchased a 2018 vehicle at Music City Honda, and the salesperson left the dealership shortly afterward. I did not receive a second key fob from him at the time I purchased the vehicle and was not even aware there was not a second one until I was leaving and out the door. They will not provide me with one because there was nothing in the paperwork to specify that I was to receive another one. I've spoken to many people now at the dealership, but the person I wanted to talk with refuses to return my call: the manager, James Poole. I will not refer your business to my friends even though I like my car. This seems like a very small expense to a large dealership and a gesture of good faith to ensure everyone is happy with their purchase. Again, it's just regrettable that such a seemingly small item would get in the way of an otherwise pleasant experience.

Great experience

Ben greeted us at the door, and from there everything was smooth and easy. The manager, the financial person and, especially Ben who spent the most time with us are very professional and straightforward with the process. I’m very happy to have chosen Music City Honda dealership !

Avoid!!!!

182 point inspection? The car literally tells you when you start it that a brake light is out, and they didn't replace. I am an out of state buyer, and it took 3 months to get license plates because they didn't do the title correctly. They do not answer the phones, and have no voicemail system. I've since sold the car I purchased, and I've been trying to get the money they owe me for my cancelled extended protection plan for 2 months!!! WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER, NOT ONLY FOR AN AUTO, BUT FOR ANYTHING!

got the odyssey

My wife and I spent the whole day other day looking for a vehicle. We went to four different dealerships. Three of them were just what I expected. I am not much on car salesman and the first three dealerships only strengthened that. However, Mike Ward, at Honda has made me reconsider. He was very accommodating and not pushy. He even seemed sincere when he asked about our family and such. Thanks Mike for making our vehicle purchase easy and comfortable. We would come back to him in a heartbeat. I gave it four stars because I still hate to pay the money...although we feel it was a good deal. Lol

Just bought an Odyssey

Purchased a 2016 Odyssey today at Music City Honda. We went to four different dealerships the day we were looking and three of them were just what I expected. Not big on dealerships or car salesman but our salesman at Music City, Mike Ward, has made me reconsider my thinking. He was very nice and was not pushy. Felt like the questions he asked about our family were sincere and, although I'm sure he makes money by selling vehicles, was very accomadating and did not try to rush us into our decision. I would recommend Music City Honda to a friend because of the way he treated us. I rated it as four stars because I still hate to come up off the money for a vehicle. Hahaha

Wonderful Customer Service

This dealership is awesome! My husband and I arrived here close to their closing time to check out some vehicles. We ended up buying a new CRV with the help of Mike Ward. We felt terrible that we didn't realize what time they closed. The staff was great though and they stayed late to help us out. Amazing customer service. Great place. Thanks again to Mike Ward!

Still Waiting on a Call.!!!!

I initially called Music City Honda in Madison Tn. about a vehicle that I saw on Cargurus. Was told that particular vehicle would not be for sale due to Safety issue , (Crosstour) although still listed on Cargurus website, for sale at a higher price then I initially saw it as ...I was then told by a manager that they would find me another vehicle without safety issues and get back with me in about 30 minutes. I've been waiting for 2 days for a response . i called to see what progress ihad been made in finding my next vehicle and was told she discuss my plans to purchase a vehicle with her manager. And they were still working on something for me and would get back within an hour.....( they have my home and cell # ) Well I it's been 48 hours later still NO CALL FROM THEM.!!!! I called them back today Saturday 1/27/18 .... This afternoon and was told from the manager that she would call me back in 1 hour and now it's 4 hours later... 4:30 p.m. ....Still haven't heard back from a salesperson at Music City Honda Madison Tn. , Im in disbelief that being a potential buyer that a Major For Profit Dealership would not return a calll back to a customer....Disappointing.!!! I would like to Thank Wolfchase Honda for your Business!!!!

Amazing Experience

We came in late one night when everyone was trying to go home. We thought we would just walk around a look at vehicles without being bothered. We ran across the most amazing salesman ever, Justin Scott. I will never buy a car from anyone but him again. He even sells used cars. I have no reason to go anywhere ever again. GO SEE HIM!!!

Unacceptable Customer Service from Hayden Moore

I visited Music City Honda on Saturday December 10, 2016 in attempts to trade my current 2014 Honda Accord Sport which i had leased at this same dealership 2 years ago for a 2017 Honda Accord Sport. I spoke with a gentlemen i believe named Norman or Chris. He was very helpful. I expressed to him the per month cost i needed to be at and he was trying to work with me.I understood i was over with my allotted miles however i advised him of my proposal. He walked away to explain my offer to his manager Hayden Moore. They were roughly about 100 feet away and i could clearly hear Hayden Moore being very rude to him stating "Its not our fault he has added all these miles unto his leased vehicle. Somebody is going to have to pay for those miles." Chris/Norman approached me to deliver the news they could not accept my offer ti turn my vehicle in, in exchange for a new Honda. I explained to him even if my offer was accepted i would not do business with this Honda dealership. He approached Hayden Moore and advised him i had heard there conversation and Hayden Moore approached me in attempt to explain himself and he made the situation worst by degrading his employee and saying "this is his first lease and i needed him to understand the lease process." Quiet frankly Hayden Moore should not be in a position to manage with such a poor customer service attitude not to mention a poor manager. Sad to say this was not the same experience i had 2 years ago with Bill Steed and i will not be doing business with Music City Honda nor recommending anyone there.
