Silverado Service

I have always taken my Siverado to Beatys Chevrolet in Knoxville TN. The service is exceptional. Their pricing is fair. Scott in service does a great job getting your vehicle repaired or serviced. In and out as quick as possible.

Beaty Chevrolet has always been good to me. When I moved to Tennessee in 2015, they were the ones I trusted with my Equinox. When I had an accident, Beaty was the place I went to purchase a new vehicle. They made it happen. They are pleasant and a pleasure to go to when something is wrong, or if I just need an oil change.

I have to start by saying my husband and I hate car shopping with a passion....but with my beloved Honda almost 100,000 it was time to start looking.. I found what I wanted at Beaty. I contacted them by email to ask questions. I got a response quickly from the internet manager. When we went to see it it was a cold nasty day. The internet manager took his time to answer all our questions in a professional manner. He was friendly, knowledgable and kind. They have an incredible inventory on all makes and models. He was upfront about our trade in value and what he could do on the Equinox also letting us know about any special financing offers from the finance companies. The finance man was kind, treated us with respect, had a good attitude and was patient to answer all questions. I am glad it is over, we got what we wanted with decent terms and felt good about the experience. We will be repeat buyers again when my teenage daughter is ready for her car. We like Chevrolet because of the Onstar feature and love the way they look. We felt good about how we were treated - which we all know how important that is. We have had horrible experiences at other dealerships feeling bad for days by the way we were treated. Not at this dealership. Lots of customers around on this black Friday. We were expecting it to be slow since everyone was at the mall....

Horrible experience!

9-08-09 My husband, our 3 children and myself returned to Beaty after finding a conversion van we liked this past Sunday. We got there around 8 pm (they close at 9) and drove past 3 salesmen (one being the sales manager) to get to the van but yet, 10 minutes later we had no salesman to assist us. I HAD TO GO GET ONE MYSELF! When I returned to the van and my waiting family with the salesman he didn't even give a simple "Hello, my name is __", nothing! Yet he had the "courtesy" to point out the listed price and said he "Just wanted to make sure we saw it". By the way, it was advertised for 1k less online. His lack of tact continued with repeated remarks about how he'd like to go home so he could see his wife and kids. I asked him if, by chance, he had a flashlight so I could get a better look at the engine compartment(it was dark and cramped). He replied that "this company has been around for 78 years and we're not going to sell a vehicle with a bad engine..". While that might be true, what sort of buyers would we be if we didn't even look at the engine? I really don't think it's his place to tell us what we should or should not look at if we were the ones considering the purchase of the van. During that short amount of time he repeatedly questioned us about if we were going to finance, buy with cash or trade THREE times in 10 minutes! Shortly after, my husband and the salesman went for a quick testdrive and when they returned the entire family went for a testdrive. However, before we left, the salesman offered to watch our children. While I appreciated the offer it's my opinion that any reasonable parent would NEVER leave their 3 small children with a stranger they know nothing about! I politely declined yet oddly that seemed to frustrate him. After our testdrive my husband and I were much more serious about buying the van, excited even! We were ready to start talking numbers. My husband parks the van under one of the lot lights to get a closer look at the engine and the rest of the van. The salesman huffs and says, "There's no point in standing around nit picking a 10 yr. old vehicle to death.". Oh yes there is if you're asking almost 9k for a 10 yr. old VAN and comments have already been made that related to we didn't need to look at the engine because they've been around for "78 years". Just seemed as if the salesman was hiding something. A bit later he continues his disgrace with, "OK folks we're at the point where we need to come to a decision". RUDE!! I said, "Excuse me?!". His response was, "Well you've had plenty of time to look at this van we..(I cut him off at this point). Frustrated, my husband tossed him the keys and the salesman scuffs,"I knew this was going to happen!". He proceeds to display his lack of tact by complaining that we've been there for 40 min. and we "should've done something by now". Then it went all to heck!! In fact, I would say the situation exploded into an UGLY display, IN FRONT OF OUR CHILDREN!! In the middle of his little episode the sales manager pulls up, after he graciously mentioned he was the manager I proceeded to tell him all that had transpired while the salesman continues his belligerence with my husband. Part way through, the salesman then interrupts my conversation with the manager! I politely ask him to wait while I speak with manager...the salesman continued his squawking without correction from the manager. In my opinion the salesman lacked even rudimentary skills needed to function in ANY sort of public related venue. I feel that it is a shame that such a salesman as that would even be employed at Beaty. I should mention that we were prior customers even! We bought a NEW 2005 Tahoe Z71 from a different salesmen, so in my opinion it's an even BIGGER shame to think that he would be allowed to treat prior customers in such a horrible manner! I'm also puzzled as to why the sales manager NEVER spoke up or offered to be of any assistance during this. Now I know why we've b
