Horrible experience. Came into dealership telling them I wanted to finance vehicle at end of lease. After waiting almost 3 hours later, alone and no word other John Gile lying to me that I was next in-line, I was passed off to finance to a guy who starred at his computer and wouldn't look me in the face. I now realize it was because he took advantage of me and gave me a bad deal. If you are in to dealerships that give you the runaround and play tricks on you, Cool Springs Toyota is your dealership! Buyer Beware. Carlos recommended Jim Gile, so he’s likely just as bad. After 3 hours, I couldn’t think straight and they told me I had to take Gap insurance. Nice lie. Jeremy might have been his name. That’s the tactics they are trained to do, don’t get suckered like I did. Toyota of Cool Springs is as bad at trying to pull one over on you as Beaman Toyota. Just didn’t expect them to stoop to that level. Lack of inventory has led to them to take advantage of people in deals. You’ve been warned,

I never would have dreamed I could have fun buying a car,but the folks at Toyota of Cool Springs made it more than fun. Our salesperson,April Cromety was very professional, not pushy and she made it a very good experience. Love our Highlander!

I would have replied to this request earlier but for some reason the e-mail went to spam. My complaint would be with the Toyota Corp. for not making/having available Highlander Lim. Plat. in Predawn Grey Mica with Almond interior and for designing the new Saddle interior with no Saddle on the doors (looks like Saddle seats were just put in a Black interior IMHO) My buying experience took two trips to Toyota of CS over a 6 weeks period. My wife and I were at the time of the first visit still somewhat unsure of color combination we wanted among those available and the only Highlander we considered was at a dealership too far away and over target price once the service dept. added an option we wanted. Regardless, my experience with Mr. Williams was such that I wanted to contact him when we decided to buy. We settled on a Blizzard Pearl w/ Almond interior of which a few were available in the area according to the helpful Toyota website. It is somewhat amusing that I had found the Highlander we wound up buying on an area dealer's website and Mr. Williams didn't see it on the dealers vehicle finder. We attributed this to a confusion over specific options we wanted. (I did not get a finders fee LOL). I had researched both the value of my tread-in and what would be a good price on the new car. After adding estimated taxes considering what I wanted to pay for the Highlander and what I wanted for my trade-in I made an OTD offer just under my budget limit. Mr. Williams presented the offer and it was accepted. Could I have bought the vehicle for a few dollars less? Possibly, but I hate negotiating and prefer to make a firm and fair offer and being prepared to walk. After the two dealers decided on a swap the paperwork was completed, Mr. Williams went himself to make the swap with the other dealer and even with 3+ hours of driving time we drove our new Highlander home from Toy. of CS 9 hours after beginning the process. I have bought 25+ vehicles in my lifetime and Jeff Williams is equal to, if not better than, the best sales persons I have dealt with. Friendly, personable, takes time to get to know you and gives you a chance to know him, not pushy or in a hurry, and definitely doesn't try to make you buy something you don't want (a sure way to make me walk away). As for a the buying experience, including working with Fernando Nunez as closer, I would, as a retired teacher, give Jeff Williams and Toyota of Cool Springs an A+. I'm hoping my experience with the service department will be just as enjoyable as buying the vehicle was. I would recommend Jeff Williams at Toyota of Cool Springs to anyone considering the purchase of a new Toyota. Since I kept my last Highlander 7+ years it will hopefully be a while before I trade again but when I do I'll be looking for Jeff Williams at Toyota of Cool Springs.

Excellent Buying Experience!

My buying experience at Toyota of Cool Springs was like it should be at all dealers. I gad researched 4Runners thoroughly and knew exactly what I wanted. Sales rep Steven did not attempt to up-sell me and there were no "gotchas" at any time. I got the vehicle I wanted at a reasonable price. Sona in the Finance department was efficient and personable and made no attempt to hard-sell me on financing or on the supplemental warranties ans such. Overall, a very satisfying process.

Pretty good

Recently purchased a used vehicle. The sales guy was super nice and I appreciated no high pressure sales tactics. Felt like they were shooting straight with us for the most part and the warranties for used vehicles are very good. They did not want to haggle/ budge on the prIce of the vehicle. I have heard that this dealership is more pricey than some of the others in the middle TN area. Overall good experience.

I had researched several Priuses online from several dealers, looking for a used one from 2015 with low mileage. Once I started working with Jerri at Cool Springs, I realized that with their great deal that I could get a new 2017 one of just the right model and price, which stopped my search for a used one. She and the finance people were great to work with and very thorough in explanations of extended maintenance, etc.

Bait and switch

I called at 9:31 am to see if the car I found online was there. I was assured it was, my husband and I drove almost two hours to the dealership. We got there, the salesperson tells us that it sold last night! They then proceeded to suggest several other cars that were a minimum of $5500 more to $8000 more. We left. The car is still on their website and 8 just called again and was told yes come on up for a test drive! I don't like being lied to. I don't like the bait and switch technique which is illegal! So,if you are on th e website just know the Prius V for 11485, has been sold for at least the last three days.

Van catches FIRE!!

We purchased a "certified Toyota" sienna van from them... 12hrs later the engine caught fire (with our small children inside, thankful nobody was critically injured) and burnt the entire van down to its frame and wires! The owner and mgmt had no immediate response to help, and would not release any documents including bill of sale and service records for the vehicle as we were working with our insurance!In the meantime they informed us that the "sale never went through due to financing (conveniently they just never processed it this next morning because they received a call that this happened) and we were NOT entitled to any information on the van. After weeks of engineers and investigators inspecting the van, at our residence, the dealership continued to not return any calls. The owner George Girjel, could NEVER be reached and avoided returning the messages we left for him. There are many shady details that this company is hiding, and the careless customer service they have provided during this difficult time is outrageous! Not to mention that they have been in possession of our trade in vehicle all this time as well!! Toyota USA seems to show NO REAL interest to help either, especially knowing that the dealership sold a vehicle with a open manufacturer recall on it! I hope this will help another family be cautious and steer clear of this Toyota dealership.

My experience

Just purchased a used vehicle from them over the weekend. Overall, the experience was good. The only thing I have a problem with is the ever changing pricing on their website. One day the car is listed for one amount and either later that day or a few days later, the price increases. Then a day or two later, the price drops again. And then, yet again, the price goes up. When you go to the dealership, the response is, we have to go by the current price on the website. You ask why the price change and you get some [non-permissible content removed] answer about a service being done. Well, most "services" don't cost over $1,000 unless it's something fairly major which should have been taken care of in the beginning.

Cool Springs Toyota was a revelation of how a public business should be run. My dealings with them by phone first, and in person later, were not what I have known in the past. Alan, my sales associate, their inventory and facilities were outstanding. I would visit again just to watch them operate.

I have taken my RAV to Toyota of Cool Springs for several years for service - they have the best service department (DC Baker being the best) so when I decided I wanted another RAV I talked with Jason regarding exactly what I was looking for then ended up working with Alan Markle when I did finally get out there. Also with JD Smith to finalize the deal. Even though it was a very busy Saturday they were the best. I have purchased several cars/SUV's and this was the best experience. I knew I wanted to have my service there as I stated earlier - now I know the wonderful people that helped me on the actual sale side. Reasonable, friendly and go the extra mile to help. When I am ready for my 4th Toyota I definitely will return.

Corolla LE Purchase

I came to this dealership and was assisted by Mike Lalonde in purchasing a a 2016 Corolla LE for my daughter. Mike was helpful from the moment I arrived and had the two cars I had picked out ready for me to test drive upon my arrival. I was extremely happy with the service offered by Mike. He answered all my questioned and explained to me the added bonus of oil changes and tire rotations free for the first two years. I feel like I got a great price for a great first vehicle for my daughter and I am thankful to Toyota Scion of Cool Springs and Mike for his help in my purchase.
