Buyers Beware if you buy a used vehicle

Please beware of any trust or expectations you might have buying a used vehicle here. I purchased a used vehicle and was told that the extensive check was completed and performed by the sister Toyota dealership. 500 miles later , my check engine light comes on and I am now looking at $9719 in repairs. Transmission and u joints. No one can answer how this might have been missed during their inspection. Their attempt to resolve was to buy it back at 60% of the purchase price and buy something else at full retail.

Run away from this dealership!!!

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! This dealership is full of [non-permissible content removed]; they are the epitome of the “stealership” stereotype! I purchased a brand new 2015 Rogue, and within the first year of owning the vehicle the nightmare began. All of a sudden the car would not start. I would attempt to crank it, but nothing would happen. At times you could wait 10, 15, 45 minutes and it may finally start, but eventually it left me stranded several states away from SC. I thought it could be battery issues, and I would rush it to the dealership, but no codes ever came up. After MULTIPLE (4+) visits to Crown’s service department and nearly 3 weeks “in service” they FINALLY found the car to “sputter” upon starting, and replaced something within the computer. I felt like finally there was some resolution, but to my dismay, nearly one month after the computer fix, the car wouldn’t start again. Needless to say, I rushed it to Crown Nissan and as always, they promised to “tirelessly” work on the car and give it back to me. I was told that a Nissan Engineer was in town and PERSONALLY inspected the car to make sure there were no other issues to report on the car. I finally gave in and decided to file a formal claim with Nissan North America, because I couldn’t rationalize a 16-month-old vehicle being this unreliable and requiring so much work. The dealership did NOTHING to help me! I was even advised by the service tech to get rid of the car because there were too many problems to have on a new car. Eventually, I found out that the Nissan engineer that “inspected” my vehicle was on-site to service another person’s “problem” other than my car. If you have to call on corporate-level engineers and technicians to investigate issues with car after car, it starts to seem that the dealership could be the issue. At one point of this nightmare, I attempted to get rid of the problem and trade it in (not faulting Crown specifically for this headache), but visit after visit with the sales team, the numbers always increased on my possible new monthly payment. Now, by “increase,” I mean they went up by nearly $100/month, and I would STILL be several thousand dollars upside down. Crown wanted nothing to do with making it right or helping to put me in a more reliable vehicle. There was no attempt to come close to breaking even; everything was “well, we can do this, but add nearly 2 more years to a loan repayment – a loan repayment that was originally 5 years, so now I would be looking at a 7 year repayment.” I may be a female that doesn’t know cars and their technical terms inside and out, but I am an intelligent woman that can determine when a financial deal is a mistake and complete scam. Shame on you for selling me this car and for washing your hands of the problem. I will never purchase a Nissan again and will let all my contacts know when you purchase at Crown you run the risk of a bad car more often than not. FIND A BETTER PLACE TO BUY YOUR CAR.

Worst Customer service

We went to this dealership because a friend recommended, my sales person Mr. Ramirez was very courteous and knowledgeable, however when we were taking to the back to close the deal we had to work with Mr. Matt Whitaker who was the worst person to work with, it all started good but when I declined to purchase an extra warranty he got very angry, he offered me the car and the warranty for $230.00 and after I declined the guaranty he went I changed the price and gave me the worst deal he could and up my monthly payment to $235.00 without the warranty, at that point after waiting for 4 hours for this car I just wanted to get out of there so I just finished the deal, since I had agree in a price between $228.00 - $238.00 but after telling him no for the 20th time and before we left he wished that our car broke down and that we had to pay $5,000 to $6,000 in repairs, my 14 year old son was really scared after we left. For these reason I'd not recommend this place to anyone and instead of being a Nissan ambassador I will tell everyone to never buy a Nissan or any of their brands vehicles, I have convinced the friend that recommended this place not to go back there for his maintenance or repairs.

Excellent Experience

I recently leased a new 2014 Rogue at Crown Nissan. I had a great experience working with Paul Deahl. He helped to meet all of my needs throughout the process, helped me to get a great price and went above and beyond my expectations. Made the process easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend working with Paul.

Surprisingly amazing

Recently widowed, I was terrified to go buy a new car. I knew I had to though. When I came to the dealership, I was welcomed with friendly salesman and patience. I test drove a car and fell in love with it. When I decided the features I wanted and didn't want, I told them. They found me a car. They were so incredibly friendly to work with and truly made this a comfortable buying experience. Frank even bought me flowers!! It was such a beyond wonderful experience, that I will send everyone I know to them!!

An easy, no hassle experience and the deal was done before I arrived on the lot. Sales person (Jonathan E) was attentive and thorough, and even came in on his day off to meet me coming in from out of town. Best price by far!

Very Satisfied with my purhcase of Altima from Crown Nissan of Greenville

I was working with sales person Michael K on the phone for 2 days and we finalized the car, all the options, price and I was able to find the color and options I wanted in the Altima. Michael was very good to work with and he was very courteous, honest and did everything he can to get me the car at the price I wanted. I drove from Charlotte, NC area to get the car and it was worth the trip to get the car I wanted
