First time buying a vehicle

I recently Purchased my first vehicle from five star on their opening day at their new location. Tim Provau walked me and my fiancé through the process and worked with us to stay within our desired budget. He was was personable, knowledge on the vehicle and if he was unsure he was honest and simply asked someone who did. He and Damon Davis never made us feel rushed and took their time late into the night to tie up all the loose ends and go through the long paperwork process. Everyone had an upbeat attitude and made the experience a great first time buying a car a good one. I would recommend going and checking out five-start and their vehicles. We were happy with their services and happy they made buying our new Pathfinder an easier process than we assumed.

Unhappy Customer

I went to Nissan of Florence with a trade in and thought everything would go smooth as it did, prior to coming there. After completing the paperwork and waited for a day for my car since it was not in the inventory. The incorrect car was sent. I was then led to believe the correct car was coming right away but I had to wait 2 days. In the meantime my paper work was incorrect that no one thought to have changed, my plates from the trade in was never completed to transfer to the new car, my trade in has not been paid and the other financial institute call me to advise that the account is delinquent and will show up on my credit report if its not taking care of in the next two weeks. I'm so upset with Nissan and will not recommend this location to no one whatsoever due to the lack of due diligence of handling my situation in a timely matter. I reached out to the sales consultant, the manager and the owner and still have the same issue a month later and nothing has been taking care besides what I have done. I tried contacting Florence county to advise of the matter and there is nothing I can do my hope and pray everything gets taken care of soon.

Natalie was amazing!! From the minute we drove into the lot, she was out there helping us. She helped me find the car I wanted and then helped me get the best deal. She made my experience of buying my first care amazing!! She gave me extraordinary customer service! She even bought me a smoothie during my test drive! Definitely the best sales representative I have ever met! She didn't force anything on me and let me make my own decisions! Loved her! Felt like family!

Nissan Rogue

We came in to just test drive and get a feel of a Nissan Rogue and didn't think we would be able to get approved. Natalie was amazing!!! She got is approved and worked with us to get the vehicle we wanted. She let us test drive and look at as many cars as we wanted and didn't rush us at all, she was very patient with us and made this expierence all about us and very enjoyable. Natalie is the best sale rep that I have ever done business with and I was very pleased with how personable and thoughtful she was. It is usually a painful process buying a vehicle but I have absolutely no complaints, I never though yes is enjoy the process of buying a vehicle. Natalie was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better sales rep!

Most unethical dealership in South Carolina

I expressed interest online in a 2004 Frontier, I was contacted by dealership and made an appointment to see the truck. The day before going to the appointment the salesperson contacted me to confirm appointment and stated truck was ready for my inspection and drive test. I drove the 60 miles one way to inspect and drive the truck. When I arrived at the dealership the salesman informed me truck was actually in another state and I would have to purchase the truck before it would be brought to 5 Star of Florence. The next day when paperwork was written price was $1000 more that online quote. After driving truck home at 9 pm on night of delivery I discovered an oil leak the next morning, I was told the truck had undergone 150 point inspection, guess none of those inspections included underneath the vehicle. I have written letters to General Manager of 5 Star of Florence and to Division Vice President of Nissan, Sales & Marketing and Operations U.S. All of these statements are documented in writing. I have no argument with Nissan, it is this dealership that is a stain on the Nissan brand name. Please do your due diligence before you buy for Five Star Nissan of Florence.

Extremely Impressed

On Friday 13,2016 I went to Five Star Nissan at 2185 W. Evans St. Florence SC 29501. Phone (843)665-8467, or (843)253-0789 for sales and service. I Arrived around Noon. I met with the Sales Professional Alex L. Bentley. I really didn't expect much, as it was a dealership and I stay away from them because of so many disappointments with dealerships from the past. I was surprised at the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Alex introduced me to everyone in sales and financing, then we proceeded to get down to business. I look and found what I wanted. Did my test drive then started with the financial loan approval. I didn't expect it to go through, but the financial manager not only got it approved but got me an APR 10% less then I was paying on the vehicle I was trading in, saving me a whole lot of money. Then the paperwork, I was expecting ton's, instead only a few documents, and all I had to do was read and sign. They even took care of the transfer of my vehicle tags, saving me a trip to the dmv and waiting in those long lines. I live about 70 to 75 miles from them, but I'll say it was worth the trip. I drove away with a new 2016 Nissan Versa SV in about 4hrs. time. Needless to say I was extremely impressed and pleased with the efficiency of everyone involved. If your in the market for a new vehicle, Five Star Nissan is the place to go. By the way, I had told them I only had enough gas for a one way trip to get there, Alex told me if for some reason the deal wouldn't go through, he would refill my gas. Now that's what I call service. So give them a call and share in my experience, Make sure to ask for Alex.
