Not bad, not great

Few minor things that they failed at. Spilled oil in the engine body when they did the oil change and didn't clean it up. Got 4 new tires, they didn't put in new valve stems and they didn't put caps on the valve stems. Asked for life expectancy on the brakes while tires were off. They forgot. They also left some type of grease on all the rims that they didn't clean off. Spent almost 1500 in all. Expected better from a dealership.

bad experience

purchased a used 1994 corvette last summer. the tires, while they looked fine, turned out to dry rotted and the belts were bad. it was vibrating badly at highway speeds. I later discovered several oil and transmission leaks, which they had to have known about and did not disclose. I live in Charlotte, NC, so dealing with these issues in person would have been difficult. they ignored all my electronic communications. (also) they sent me off with the car without filling it with gas. In 0ver 40 years of buying cars that was a first. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone for anything.

Disappointed in quality of service

I took my diesel Chevy to Pendarvis because the motor was smoking. They determined that the injectors needed to be replaced. It took them 3 weeks to do the work. I asked the service manager for updates, but they never called. In the next 2 months/5000 miles after service, I had trouble 3 times on items that were related to the work they had done - Ac did not work after service, fuel leak, oil change light not reset when oil changed. Since I was traveling, I had to use other dealers for repairs. My cost was over $1000 because of careless work. When I returned home, I called and spoke to Robert Pendarvis about my problems. He apologized, promised to do better, but refused to consider compensating me for my problems. I will not do business with this company again.

Best Dealership in Edgefield, SC

We had truck shopped for weeks and had been held hostage by many sales people at other dealerships. Because my husband couldn't find exactly what he was wanting locally, we had decided to travel to Edgewood to see what was available. We were going to stop at another dealership, but my husband saw the Pendarvis sign in the distance and decided to start there first. Immediately, we picked out at least four new trucks that hit all of our requirements. The owner, Richard Pendarvis, and sales person, John K, were very upfront and honest about our trade-in and the final cost on each vehicle. We came back the next day, and bought a new 2014 Chevrolet 1500 LTZ fully loaded for a lot less than the local dealers had wanted. We are very pleased with our purchase and our experience with Pendarvis.
