onI went to Hyundai to find a new car to purchase, and found Ashley and the rest of the staff I met to be very friendly and helpful in getting me the right vehicle for me with a very reasonable down payment and monthly payment. I'm very satisfied with my car and would recommend Hyundai to anyone wanting to buy one.

2018 Hyundai Sonata
by 11/25/2017
onThe staff is extremely friendly. Charles was great, however, I did feel like sales prices were not known and we had to wait a lot for those to be checked. Also, I was under the impression that the car that I test drove and eventually bought was going to come as is, however, the rearview mirror was changed out to a lesser version.

Great experience with purchase
by 06/20/2017
onOur Sales Representative Charles was excellent, a very much no pressure experience. A well thought out test drive that allowed us to experience how the vehicle handled in both normal city traffic and on the express way. Charles was very knowledgeable about the Santa Fe, and it's operation. He pointed out about the cars gas mileage and handling options. Charles discussed the difference between packages, again in a no pressure way. Discussing financing was very easy, and the entire process was smooth

Internet Quotes

onBeware of their e-qoutes. Quotes include rebates that only apply to limited situations. If you are a Uber Driver that recently graduated college, while in the Military and previously drove a Hyundai you might qualify for some of the rebates included in the equote.

Best car buying experience!
by 01/22/2016
onI have never had such a positive car buying experience in my life! I found my 2016 Sonata on line and handled most of the communication on the phone and computer. Everyone I spoke with or had any dealings with were personable, not pushy, and very helpful! I drove over and traded my old Sonata, which I loved by the way, and drove home my new 2016 in less than 2 hours. These folks know how to make your car buying experience a good one! I would recommend this dealership for both sales and service to anyone! gabesgranny03

onI had purchased a car last year that was giving me lots of problems. They were able to get me out of that car and into a brand new Elantra GT! Brian Lehr was my sales person and he was very polite and knowledgable. I recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a great car for a great price.

DISHONEST. Avoid at all costs.
by 11/03/2014
onUnder no circumstances should you deal with this "stealership." They are extraordinarily dishonest. When you catch them being dishonest, they attempt to convince you that you just don't understand what's going on. In my entire history as a consumer with access to the internet, I have never felt the need to write a review until now. I have been looking for a truck in the Anderson area. This dealership had a pretty decent looking Dodge 1500 with low-ish miles. I went in and asked the salesman how much the truck was. He told me 15,400. I test drove the truck and applied for financing. During the entire test drive, the salesman wouldn't shut up about how much better and bigger his truck was than this one, and that I should buy a real truck. The salesman told me I was approved for financing, and handed me a piece of paper that said, "Purchase Agreement" on the top, and told me to sign it. I asked for a moment to look over the numbers, and he just kept pushing me to sign it. I am extremely glad I looked at it closely. Magically, the base price of the truck had increased to 17,000 (remember, they had told me the base price was 15,400), BEFORE taxes and their BS "admin fee" of $500. The bottom line price on a truck they quoted at 15,400, was now almost $18k, before financing cost. I asked the salesman about the increase, and he said, oh, no, that's just the taxes, and again pushed me to sign it, but finally admitted the price was wrong. I asked him what the APR was on the loan, and he wouldn't tell me. I asked him if someone there would know, and he said no. I did the math myself based on their payment plan, and the cheapest/shortest version of the loan came out to be 145% of their claimed cost of the truck. I asked again about the price, and the salesman said, "dont worry about it. It'll be 15400. just sign the paper." When I reminded him that the paper said $17k and I would be signing into owing them that amount of money plus tags and fees, he replied, "I said don't worry about it. just sign it." He refused to print a new agreement with the correct price on it. He again refused to tell me the APR of the loan or to direct me to someone in finance that would know. I walked on the deal. Not one, but TWO salesman followed me out to the parking lot and cornered me, telling me over and over how good of a deal it was and that I would never find a deal this good again. That they had 3 people who wanted to buy the truck if I didn't (the truck is still sitting there three weeks later, with good reason). They literally blocked me from getting to my vehicle to leave. Two weeks later, letters started showing up to my house. When I applied for financing, they sent my application to a minimum of 10 different lending companies. Every single one of those now shows up on my credit report as an attempt to get a loan. It now appears on my credit that I tried to get 10 loans in a single week. They did not tell me ahead of time (or ever) that they would be applying to multiple institutions on my behalf. I called them to speak with a manager about the situation, and I was told by the head sales manager that I was lying, that if i had asked for the APR they would have told me, and treated to a bunch of circular, evasive tactics to avoid the fact that they had been dishonest and had mangled my credit report in the process. First I was told that the purchase agreement wouldn't have tied me to anything, then I was told that it was a commitment to buy, but not a binding agreement on the loan, then I was told that it was a commitment to buy for the price on the agreement, but that I wouldn't have been asked to sign it without knowing all the details...which is a straight lie, because not only did the salesman repeatedly and aggressively push me to sign it, he refused outright to give me the information I asked for, or to amend the agreement to accurately reflect our verbal agreement. Do not deal with this business for any reason. Buy your car from someone else. Anyone else. If I could possibly give this place negative stars, I would.

They want to sell cars
by 07/20/2007
onThe sales person and the sales manager both were interested in selling a car. They did not pressure me, but they did not ignore me the way the Lexus and Toyota's dealers did. When they called, they had something new to offer for me to consider. The trade in process was a little disconcerting, but that happens at most dealerships. In fact, Upstate offered me more for my car than the Toyota dealership had the year before on an Avalon. The sales staff really needs to learn more about the cars they sell. This is especially true for dealerships that have one person doing internet sales on seven different makes. It would help if they spent time on the Edmund's Forum sites to find out what people are saying so they can have the answers.
