2022 Sonata SEL

This was our second time coming back to Jack Giambalvo Hyundai, and we couldn't be more pleased. Ed was an absolute gentleman and exemplified every quality a good salesmen should have. Knowledgeable about his product, great customer relations, listening and meeting your needs, all without being pushy or over the top. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. (The first one 3 years ago was also great!) I've bought over 20 cars over the last few years (New and used dealers, carmax, and private sellers) and I've never been in and out as fast as Ed and Dillon worked with us. We walked in and left keys in hand in under an hour! With the initial appointment of securing a car a few weeks ago, going over trade, finance approval and questions taking only another hour or so at most. Definitely recommend coming to see Ed for your next Hyundai purchase and if you're lucky you'll get the absolute legend, Dillonto do your finance. In this post 2020 car buying world, it's more than likely they won't have the vehicle you want on the lot. I'm sure if you are willing to drive, you'll be able to find it somewhere else. But don't settle, this is one of the few places that isn't marking up vehicles over MSRP, and isn't adding in bogus deal add ins, accessories and packages. Save your money, and let Ed and the rest of York Jack Giambalvo Hyundai team get the car you really want, for a price you actually want to pay.

Disappointed

I had been mislead about what vehicle I could purchase. I was also told to have an certain amount of money to put down on a vehicle and the bank would approve. When I got there with my the right amount i was shown cars that hasn't been discussed over the phone after my credit as been ran. The dealer had poor people skills. He never gave me clear directions. Then I was told I could get a co signer to get the vehicle in was interested in. I gave my down payment to the dealership and was greeted and congratulated for my purchase. The next day everything was submitted by me and my co signer they wanted another copy of his pay stubs. Instead of coming to my co signer the dealer called his jobs headquarters and came in his office and hand him the phone without given any knowledge of who my co signer was talking too. My co signer felt disrespected and mislead some backed out of signing anything for the vehicle.

Terrible service

I had a 9am appointment for an oil change. At 10am I went to see how much longer it would be and they didn't even move it yet. So I left.

So unhappy

I had been researching Hyundai Tucson for almost 2 -3 years. Fell in love with the new 2016. Obsessed over it for months. Went back and fourth between a few dealers and decided that I was happy with my dealings via telephone and email with York dealership which was 3 hours away. Started out working with Ed Snyder than worked closely with Diego Rivera. Diego was great, then set a date on 2/19/16 to sign paperwork on my new Hyundai Tucson on 2/27/16. Despite my excitement I went to my local Honda to see how much they would offer me on my trade for a car with a V6 engine. Honda offered me 4000 for my car. Told Diego about this, and wondered if he could re-assess my car from the 2300 he already said he would offer. He said his manager would take a look. On 2/27/16, we get there, he assess my car while I take the Tucson out again for a ride. I'm really not feeling 100% about the ride itself. The Torque takes a minute to kick in and their seems to be an acceleration jolt when the turbo does kick in. Diego says he can't give me more for my car. Ok, maybe ill go check out Honda. He says what if I can give you the 4000 for your car and bring your payment down, would we have a deal. I said YES despite the horrible 5.58% APR he was giving me while my credit was 731. He came back within 4 minutes and says sorry no deal. I said, ok I'm going to check out Honda. Then the man takes 15 minutes to find my keys to my car...really...who loses someone's keys on their car...... Finally finds my keys and says you know those guys at Apple Honda are pretty rude, you should watch out for them. I said, well Diego if I don't make it back tonight, you can sell the car I really wanted. He said well once you leave we'll have to sell it if someone wants it. HMMM really Diego, bc you've held the car a week for me at this point. So I walked away. Needless to say a car that I wanted more than anything, I have wound up going against bc of how dumb people are. They let me walk out of the dealership because they wouldn't give me $15 less in my monthly payments. It wasn't anything extreme that they couldn't do. Honda did it with a $35,000 car, gave me 5100 for my car and a 2.99% APR.... AND BY THE WAY DIEGO!!!! Apple Honda was overly Nice, gave us lunch, took my mother home bc she needed to get to work, and hooked me up with an awesome deal on a brand new 2016 CRV Touring. FALL IN LOVE WITH A HONDA BC THIS DEALERSHIP WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME.

2013 Hyundai Accent GLS

Everyone I had contact with at this dealership was very professional. They were willing to negotiate a price via email. They gave an out the door price including all dealer and tax and tag fees that they stuck to as well.
