Big [non-permissible content removed] and a waste of time

onAfter spending time filling out an online credit application, I received an email telling me that I was approved for financing. I drove 40 miles to see what type of vehicle that I could get. I spent over 2 hrs at the Chevrolet dealer only to be told that I needed to go to the preowned store. After spending 45 minutes at the preowned store, I was ushered off to the Dodge dealership and told that they could get me financed at every step of the way. After over 2 hrs at the Dodge dealer, I was told that I needed to buy a new car in order to obtain financing, I was then called into the finance manager's office and told that they could not get me financed. What happened to my pre-approval ? I spent all day getting jerked around by these people and they all think that it is a joke.

onWhat a ripoff! Claims no haggle pricing, what is posted is what you get. What they dont tell you is the cars they have posted at such great discounts are not really available! After driving 54 miles with checkbook in hand to buy car, after two conversations with Becky that day about availability and pricing, I was called when one mile away and what do you know? The car "just sold" but they had others that were similar but not "as low of a price". After telling her numerous times, that I would not pay one more cent than was listed on the website for an equivalent auto, and please do not waste my time by having me still come in if this wasnt the case, she finally relented and apologized that the other car had sold and hung up. Total scam. Do not bother. I do not know how these people get up every day and look themselves in the mirror. Lying to people multiple times to make a sale. Disgusting.

onThe salesman was new and understandably needed aid with the paperwork, once I decided to purchase the Dodge Charger SXT. The sales experience was normal to average, but took longer than I had expected. The problems began the day after, when I was informed that my brand new vehicle had been damaged and repaired while on the lot; and prior to the sale to myself. This was not disclosed at the time of the sale, and nothing was taken off the original MSRP except for the factory rebates offered at the time. I found out later that this constitutes Dealer Fraud. In recent dealings with them to buy the car back, after filing complaints with the BBB and the PA Attorney General's office, they have offered to buy my car back for ~$2200 less than I owe and roll that over into the purchase of a new vehicle at full MSRP. Also I was called a liar when I told the sales manager that I found a vehicle (same exact options) I was looking at, to replace the Charger, for $4900 less than the MSRP(Buchanan's Price). At first glance they appear to be helpful, but it is more of a condescending arrogance, and they are really not willing to stand by the product if it will hurt their bottom line. In retrospect Dodge has been only slightly more helpful, but are basically useless and do not stand by their repeat customers to settle customer/dealer issues. If nothing else happens by my posting of this other than to make people aware of this dealer's practices that is fine, but please be aware that a better deal can be had at another dealer despite Buchanan's Lowest Price Garauntee. I was told directly by their sales manager, "We do not practice taking anything off of the MSRP price." Check out [another dealership] of Maryland OR anywhere else!!!

onJonathan was very easy to deal with and made the transaction happen. Great personality and very friendly. He is honest, which is something most sales people do not possess. He stayed late to close the deal. Way to go, Jonathan!
