I was very nervous about purchasing a new automobile because I wanted a new car that I felt was well made, safe, had a lot of zip yet got excellent gas mileage, and has all the new safety features and creature comforts - and of course was very nice looking and comfortable. But being a 65 year old man who my Fianc'ee and soon to be wife jokingly calls a Dinosaur because I refuse to give up my flip phone, I knew I was going to need a lot of help learning what I needed to learn to purchase a new car in 2018 with all the features that the new cars have. I was buying it primarily for Eva (my Fianc'ee and love of my life) so I wanted it to be very safe, very comfortable, and a beautiful car that she would be proud to drive. And I really needed help to get up to date on the new car computers and navigation systems and all the things that make the car safer and really a pleasure to drive. So I knew I had a lot of questions and a lot to learn. So I was a little overwhelmed but excited about all the features that are now available on these new cars that make them so safe, comfortable, and a pleasure to drive. I had seen and heard about these new Kia's and how nice they are from friends and relatives who own a Kia. So I went over to Jim Shorkey Kia of Uniontown and began what I thought was going to be a difficult task of learning and understanding what I needed to know to be confident in purchasing one. I had heard that the staff there was top notch, knowledgeable, fair and honest. And that is exactly what I needed - and I my age I have little tolerance for fast talk, fluff, or high pressure sales pitches. I know a good salesman when I see one because I was in sales myself for over 40 years. So I didn't want someone wasting my time with a lot of nonsense - I wanted straight forward honest information to enable me to buy a car that was all that I wanted and needed at the best possible price along with the security of the 10 year warranty that I had heard so much about. And since I had also heard a lot about the good staff and kind and courteous treatment at Shorkey I felt I could do very well there. I happened to be friends with a salesman there and had heard how well my friends a family members had been treated by him as well as the rest of the staff when they bought or leased a car at Shorkey. So I ask for Nate Biddle. And Nate was so very patient in answering the many, many questions I had and gave me actual hands on training and information using all the many features the car I was interested in had - making sure I got the features I needed and wanted and was happy and comfortable with using them and knowing that I got "exactly" the car I wanted that was perfectly custom tailored for Eva to proudly and safely drive. I purchased a new Kia Optima LXS with all the features anyone could ever want or need and got a super deal on it from Nate as well as a free extensive education about the vehicle I was about to drive home in. As well as the security of the warranty and even 0% interest on the loan since I chose to purchase instead of lease. The lease program was a good deal as well but I opted to purchase the car. And Dani the finance manager patiently went over other options like gap insurance to make sure I would get the "full" value of the car in the event of an accident, and the comprehensive package that would give me a 10 year warranty on literally everything including the drive train, minor electrical features like wiring (even light bulbs -lol), and also the more expensive or major features like the back up camera, forward camera, GPS navigational system, stereo system, side warning and approaching car systems, and every single other feature it has. So for just a couple more dollars we are completely covered from bumper to bumper for a full 10 years. I was able to drive away with a dream car with absolutely no worries at all with a payment that fit my budget. "AWSOME" - And I gotta tell ya it's a head turner too! Eva and I are so happy and have such a peace of mind knowing we got something really special that we love and that just regular folks like us could afford. We couldn't be happier - Nate made it happen for us and I am so grateful for his help in doing so. But this is no advertisement. This was my actual experience. This is straight honest feedback on my experience. And we are so very grateful to everyone out there at Shorkey for this happy bright spot in our life. You'll see us around town - we'll be the older couple in the dark gray Optima LXS that you will be able to see the big smile on our faces even thru the tinted glass acting like a couple teenagers in their first car. I went to look at a Kia Rio just to get a "feel" of the car. I had no idea I would be walking away with it. I owe it all to Mike Weight. He was so great he went of his way to help me get my first car. I would definitely go back and do more business with Kia.

Just bought the outback, still checking out features. The Staff was willing to answer a lot of questions, even though very busy with other people. It resulted in dealing with several sales people. In the end, they were able to comply with our time schedule.

I would not recommend buying any of their used vehicles at any of their locations. I do not care for their big warranty the lifetime power train one because it doesn't cover what normal power train warranties cover at all. Maybe I had a bad experience but I know I will not recommend them and I will not go back to them.
