NJ Drivers stay away!

I bought my Mazda from them, and they said they would take care of getting the NJ registration for me. NOT! It has been well over a month and I still have no registration. I keep calling the dealership and all I get is a run around. The NJ DMV has no record of anything from these folks concerning my car. So now I am stuck with a car I can't legally drive. THey have their money and they just don't care.

Sleazy and unprofessional

I recently looked into buying a car here and within 10 minutes of being inside I got flat-out hit on by an employee. I called 2 hours ahead of time to say I was interested in checking out a particular car there and when I came in, they made me wait 25 minutes before telling me that it was parked behind some fence they couldn't open for me. When I asked to look at a different car, the manager said it was "just outside" but the sales guy gave me a gross smile, a creepy handshake, and then made me wander through the lot in the freezing cold and couldn't find it. He finally located it but the dude was clearly not as sharp as he used to be. When I asked to see the car's maintenance records and CPO checklist, they made me wait around for a long time but couldn't find that either. They kept me there for 2 hours, looking around for cars, missing documents, and then trying to get me to talk about financing before I had even seen the car I wanted. When I came back the next day, I finally got to see the car I was interested in. During the test drive, the salesman encouraged me to speed through the roads surrounding the dealership. When I made a comment that the cops must being really lax, he joked about them getting kickbacks for staying out of their way (?). He then mocked me for being concerned about the rust on the underside of the other car I looked at the previous day. The car I wanted was hard to find, they had it, and so despite having a gross experience, I entered into negotiation with them. They really, really tried to pressure me into financing before even talking about the OOTD price. I left and will never, ever, come back.

What A Wonderful Surprise

Recently, when my car broke down I was caught between the proverbial "rock and hard place." I couldn't put a couple of thousand dollars into a 10 year old car. I didn't have enough cash to buy a used car outright (nor did I want to get another used car) and I certainly didn't have enough to make a new car payment affordable. I still needed a car.....and soon. Most notably, I did not want to have to deal with car dealers! I called Pacifico, on a whim, and reached Cynthia Crum, Business Development Manager, Pacifico Ford Mazda & Hyundai. I explained my situation to her and also emphasized just how much I didn't want to go through this. From the start, she helped me feel comfortable enough to consider the option of leasing. I had discounted this as a viable possibility due to concerns about my credit as well as anticipating a large down payment. After speaking with Cynthia over 5-6 days ( I really drug my feet on this.) Anyway, the point of this comment is to express my complete surprise at how easy the people at Pacifico made it for me to lease a beautiful new Mazda 3 Sport at a price I COULD afford. I never expected to wind up with such a wonderful car and such a wonderful deal I am totally delighted with the way Cynthia and James Fischer (salesman) helped me through the process.

A new type of dealership

I never thought in my wildest dreams I would ever say this about an auto dealer: It was a pleasure meeting and doing business with everyone I encountered at Pacifico. Straight to the point, none of the usual remote huddles with the sales manager (the sales manager's desk is right on the floor. If you want Colleen involved with the negotiation she is more than happy to join the conversation), and the car is everything promised.
