Expect a repeat customer, Colonial!

If you're in the area, and looking to purchase a Toyota, this place is the ONLY option. Not because there aren't other Toyota Dealerships, there are, I looked. I priced. I made it my DUTY to see who would do their best to truly rise above and be the best choice, because, buying a brand new car is a big decision, and one I didn't take lightly. I wanted exactly what I asked for, and I wanted treated well in the process. Check, and check! A couple of the other dealerships regularly hounded me to return and look at their inventory, attempted to convince me that other things they had on hand were good options, even once I made it CLEAR what it was I wanted! They even called me multiple times per day, and just generally treated me like another chunk of commission. It was frustrating. I can honestly say, I did not encounter this issue at ALL with Colonial! (Head on down to my paragraph about Jeff for my sales experience!) The place is phenomenal! The guys and gals here are nothing short of amazing! From Judy at the front desk (who takes my calls even if I lose service and drop them five or six times, always with a pleasant smile in her voice!) to Tom in the Service Center, to the folks in Sales, who remember you and give you a smile and a wave, it's a pleasant experience from the moment you step into the showroom! No pressure, no "salesy" pushes. Just a great group of folks who want you happy with your experience. And they succeed! Jeff W was my salesman, and folks, ask for him by name. He genuinely understood what I was looking for, even after looking at three totally different vehicles with him, three totally different times. I made sure to find him before we committed, especially after all the searching and mind-changing I made him deal with! Even then, he was right there, doing everything he could to ensure customer satisfaction. When he found the perfect car, one that fit my specifications, he sent me an email, and I had a small window for compromise when I did decide on what I wanted! I gave him a call back right away, we got our trade-in ducks in a row, put down a good faith payment, and he came through 110%! The man even personally drove a dealer trade to a dealership many miles away to deliver my car back to his own dealership. Top notch guy! Now that my husband is looking to purchase a Tacoma, we will definitely not settle for anyone else as our sales guy! I could gush over his wonderful job for far more than 7500 characters! A job done flawlessly, thank you, thank you, thank you Jeff! :) I just had my first routine oil change done, and the service center there is also top notch! The guys are super friendly, and they squeezed me in without an appointment with very little notice because, admittedly, I had procrastinated, and I needed it done! Excellent customer service once again! There is not a thing I could say about this dealership in a negative manner. There is not a question in my mind that I would return for another purchase, and I honestly plan to in the near future. I highly recommend them to anyone in the 50 mile radius! :) maybe even further, if you're sick of the dealership games! I honestly love this dealership. Tremendous experience, best people out there, and they sell Toyota! What more could you ever want?! :)

What A Sucker!!!!!

I really dislike writing this review because I am the type of person that it is much easier for me to turn the other cheek than it is to complain. I would like to start out by saying I truly enjoyed the service I received while purchasing my 2008 Avalon this past February (2011). The salesperson was incredible, easy to work with, and courteous. The problems I encountered were after the sale of the vehicle. Prior to purchasing this auto one of my major concerns was rust due to the fact this was a local vehicle. The salesperson stated that the car was toyota certified and had paint protection therefore all issues with rust or any paint related issues were covered for ten years. Upon receiving the auto I noticed rust on the inner lip of the fender well. Otherwise the car was great and I didn't worry too much because the auto was shipped prior to me purchasing and with such a tremendous show of good will I felt comfortable in receiving the car and that colonial would take care of the issue. Beside the salesperson had assured me that the car had paint protection and rust had been discussed in two seperate prior conversations. Well needless to say, once I announced my issue the whole ten year paint protection guarantee was out the window. The salesperson was very sympathetic and apologetic but told me I was on my own with my issue with rust. I was not only disappointed in colonial toyota but also in myself for receiving the vehicle knowing there was rust present and for trusting the salesperson. What a sucker!!!!!!!!! I am currently seeking legal advice as to my options for pursuing the matter further. Wish me luck as to it appears that I have a good case based upon the paint protection being listed in the advertisement which would lead the average consumer to believe the car would at least be free of rust.
