NOT TRUSTWORTHY

We were searching for a small truck, combed the area and found a small GMC used truck at Joe Ball. I noticed that there were 4 new regular radials on the truck and mentioned to my son, who was purchasing the truck, that because it was close to winter he would need 2 rear snow tires as the truck was not 4wd. We negotiated a price and trade in value but I mentioned to the salesman that for some reason they had replaced the two new rear regular treads with snow tires. Which was OK but I asked the guy, as part of the deal, to provide us with 2 new regular tires to match the front ones for after winter. He said no problem and before delivery he would have 2 new treads put in the bed. When it came time to sign the papers and pick up the vehicle there were no tires in the back of the bed. I met with the boss and he told me "he would make it right". I was also assured by the finance guy that Joe was a stand-up guy and not to worry. We signed and after a few weeks and no call from them I called the salesman. He was rude and arrogant and hung up on me after I simply asked him about the promised tires. I immediately called the boss. He apologized for his salesman's poor attitude and said again, he "would make it right, give me a couple weeks". After 2 more months I emailed him to no response. Another email, another call, no response. I sent a letter, no response. This is NOT a stand-up guy or a stand up dealership. They promised us 2 extra tires and now since they have secured the sale they feel they can ignore a customer. Joe Ball never did 'make it right", nor does he honor his word. This dealership and its personnel are phony, lying, arrogant unprofessionals. STRONG BUYER BEWARE. This is a dealership that once they secure the sale all bets are off. There will never be a time that I would ever consider shopping at Joe Ball. We regret buying this vehicle there and urge all potential car shoppers to avoid Joe Ball GMC.

A wonderful stress-free experience!

The sales staff of Joe Ball GMC went out of their way to help my husband get the vehicle that he wanted. They were the only dealership to find the specific type of truck that he was interested in. Bill B. found us the truck from a dealership in Ohio. Matt worked out a fantastic deal for us with incentives and our trade-in. The whole experience was one of no stress, no pressure. Matt showed us around the dealership, and took the time to explain all the features of our new truck. Everyone we met there was friendly and helpful. We will be sure to do business with them in the future, and highly recommend them. With free car washes to boot, they are a sure bet. They even told us to take in our other vehicle (not from Joe Ball!) for free car washes anytime! What a great place!

Shady dealer. Please take the time to read my entire review BEWARE

This dealer wrote up a sales agreement for a GMC Seirra 09. We obtained our own financing. The contract was written up based upon the sales agreemnt supplied by the dealer. The truck needed to be shipped from their sister dealership in NY. After many promised deliver dates, we got a call stating that we could pick up our truck on 6/20/09. Due to working schedules we could not pick up the truck until MOnday 6/22/09. With bank check and person check in hand my husband picked up the truck. When he got home he said this is not the truck that we looked at. Sure enough we checked the VIN # from the original sales agreemnt we gave to the bank and the sales agreement from monday night. The VIN #'s did not match. The dealer pulled a switch. The promised truck was sold and they tried to slip in a different truck with less options at the same price. We called the bank tuesday morning to find out what our options were. We were told by our bank that the deal is not valid. Since the loan was based on the original sales agreement. The check needs to be returned and the loan needs to be re-written. We contacted the dealership. We were told by JOE BALL himself that HE WOULD NOT GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK. We called the bank again today (6/24/09) the finance person was on vacation. The dealer tried to fax a new sales agreemnt. We only found this out when we called back yesterday and the finance person said we got your fax. However we did not fax anything. They tried to send a new agreemnt as if it was a simple clerical error. This dealership is refusing to give us the bank issued check and our down payment of $2500. We have file a compliant with the BBB and attorney generals office. We have an appointment setup with our attorney. IF YOU STILL WANT TO PURCHASE A VECHILE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, READ YOUR INFORMATION CAREFULLY AS THEY MAY TRY TO PULL A BATE AND SWITCH ON YOU!
