onRecently bought a 2016 Sorento . I must say if your looking to buy a car you can't go wrong with Charlie as a Salesman. Aaron the Sales Mgr and Chas in Finance made buying a car simple and pleasant. Would recommend Kelly to anybody!

Misled

onMy family and I have always had good service through Kelly automotives until a recent occurrence. I received a call from a sales person staying they are having great year end savings and I can get out of my lease early and into another lease FOR THE SAME PRICE I AM PAYING NOW OR LESS if I trade in my current lease. I drove 2 hours and spent 3 hours at the dealership today to check out this "awesome deal", to find it was all a lie and a waste of my time. After test driving cars, looking at numerous different kinds/colors, appraising my current lease, etc. I was told my payments for a new lease would be almost TRIPLE what I pay now AND my allowed mileage would be less than what I have now! The entire time we were working with the sales person he knew my current payments and I stated I must stay at this price or lower. I then was informed that even when I come back in 6 months when my lease was up that I would need to return the car, put down the same amount I did before (a lot of money), and start over as a new customer pretty much to get the payment I do now. What incentive does this give me to stay with this particular company??? I am normally not one to post bad reviews, but this is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS to me. And I would like to speak with a manager.

onI purchased a new Kia Sorento on 2/28/14 with Jason Z and was very happy with the experience that I had there. Especially with Jason who was very helpful and pleasant. This was my 3rd car purchased from Mike Kelly's and I will definitely be giving them my business again. If you are planning on stopping by Kelly's I would most definitely ask for Jason who will take care of you and leave you walking away a happy customer.

onMy wife and I bought a car there yesterday, and I must say, it was hands down the best dealership experience I've ever had. Let me preface this review with this: I don't write reviews, this is my first and my wife and I don't have the best credit, so we knew going in, that it wasn't going to be easy. Most experiences I've had at dealerships are the same. The sales person has a sleazy way about them and sees you as a dollar sign. Mike Kelly Kia did NOT do this. There were actually three people working with us and ALL were respectful (dispite our credit issues) and treated us great. They really worked with us due to our credit issues and we left there in an amazing car within our planned budget. They didnt' try to over extend us to make more money on a sale. Honestly, I WILL buy my next car there and recommend it to anyone... VERY CLASSY AND PROFESSIONAL!!! THANKS MIKE KELLY KIA!!!

onOur vehicle purchase was on a brand new Chevy Aveo 5 door, on April 8th. As Joe Bratkovich (salesman) was going over the car my father in law noticed a tail light was out. We opted to leave it there to be fixed the next day. I went in with my in laws to pick up their new car and get my husbands'. Turns out it wasn't done because of some wiring problems and they needed to order parts. Was called on Saturday from Joe just updating that it was still being worked on and it would be done Monday. So we went and picked it up on Monday, it was still daylight. My husband drove it to my mom's and took them for a test drive, by this time it was dark. My husband noticed that the car's instrument panels were not lit up. So I called and asked to talk to Chaz Diehl, we were told he wasnt there. So we told them we would be right back up with the car. By this time I was furious!! I called and asked for a rental and they told me they would talk to Chaz, and he would take care of it. Meanwhile we were told he wasnt there!!! So day by day they still didnt have it working, so at this point it was a week. My husband didnt even want this car anymore. My husband said he wanted a new car and Chaz told Joe to tell my husband he was being unreasonable. I talked to MaryBeth Young, whom was very nice and helpful. We told her what was happening. Our wonderful salesman Joe also helped to fill her in on what was going on. She then went and talked to Brendan Kelly ( I hope I spelled his name right). He then called me personally and asked me what was going on. He said he was sorry for all the problems and wanted to know what he could do to rectify this situation. I told him we didnt want this car. That was Thursday morning a week after we bought the car, he then called me again by lunchtime and said this is what he would do. He said he called the bank which we financed thru and told them to stop the transaction until he talked to them again. He also said we were free and clear to walk away from this deal, and WE DIDNT have to buy another car from them. If we decided to buy another one he would work with us as best as he could. I talked to my husband and we were impressed by how he handled this situation, that we agreed to buy from them again, as long as we didnt have to deal with Chaz. So we met with Joe and Brendan, they didnt have a manual car there so they searched and found us the one that my husband wanted. We ended up buying a Chevy Cobalt XFE. Joe updated us on the location of the car and tonight (4-19-10), we picked it up. I was called again by MaryBeth to see how things were going and to thank me for taking my time to tell her what was going on!!! How nice is that!!! Brendan Kelly was also there tonight and again thanked us for giving them the chance to fix this problem. Something I have heard consistently from all of them is that they are not there just to sell a car, they want a customer for life!!!!!! They have showed us many times thru this transaction. I would recommend this dealership to everyone I know!!! Please go see Joe Bratkovich, he really cares about his customers. Even after we were told we didnt have to go thru with the Aveo sale he was still concerned about US, not about the money he will make from the sale. He told me something that really touched me. He said for him to sell he must believe in what and who he is selling for...I can say for a fact that he has ever right to believe and be proud of who he works for. I know Mike Kelly who is the owner is running for Congress and if he handles things in Congress like his dealership is run, he will do right by us. Of all the people we interacted with there was only one person that I had problems with. All in all Mike Kelly should be proud of his employees, especially Joe, Mary Beth and Brendan!!!! So when you are looking for a new vehicle go no further than Kelly's. They will treat you great and be sure to look up Joe Bratkovich!!!!! Jus

onLast year I wanted to purchase a 2004 Caliver. The car was in like mint condition. It was one of the mechinacs cars I was told. Melissa was also my sales women. She was wonderful to me. The guy in financing called me 2 times and said that my car loan was approved and I could go get it. So I left work early to get it. When I got there he said they need additional information. So then the infomation was given. But I was sent home without the car. I called the next couple days and finally was told to come get the car. So again I left work early. Again I got there and he needed more info. I still didn't get the car. The point is I was told to pick up car 3 times and every time I went I was given the run around by the pushy and very rude Financing guy.Not to mention I spent hours there. And whom ever the women is that hangs on his shoulder, whats her purpose? I'll never refer anyone there. Go across the street to Bagiler they are nice and easy to deal with.

Salesperson great- management and car bad

onThe sales woman (Melissa) was very nice. I took several trips to the dealership and each time she had the vehicles ready for me to test drive or to look at. When I finally chose a car the story changed. Another person handled financing and warranties. The guy was sooo pushy and rude. While a Hyundai has a 100,000 mile warranty the guy kept pushing for us to choose from several extended warranties and we had to choose right then. High pressure sales tactic. We did not buy those. The next day, I discovered that the cruise control has no control while driving down a hill. (Other cars I have had downshift when going down a hill in order to keep at the designated speed.) I set the speed for 50mph and the car went 60. I called the dealership and no one (except the salesperson) would help with this issue. No one in management would help or could be found when I called or came to the dealership. The mechanics from this dealership and two other Hyundai dealerships insisted that the cruise control "operated as designed". Going through the better business bureau, the dealership must now repurchase the car. That took five months; I will lose about a thousand dollars, but, I am glad to be rid of a car that is, in my opinion, unsafe due to the cruise control. I will never go to Mike Kelly Chevrolet and Hyundai again. Also, The finance company was unbelievable. The phone number on the bill did not allow one to talk to a person. The system never recognized my account number and asked for a password that I never set and if they set it, it was never given to me. When I finally got through to a person I told him my financing question. he said I can't help you with that and hung up instead of referring me to someone else or transferring me to someone else.
