VW Beetle Convertible

The day we purchased our car we were only checking out the new dealership. We had been considering a Golf in a 2-dr and spoke with the salesperson, Cindy, about the Beetles. She told us about the new classic and we were very interested. After the test drive we were considering the possibility that we would make a purchase that day but were not convinced we would get the right amount for our trade. After the test drive we somehow got on the subject of the VW Beetle convertible and that we felt it was out of our price range. We walked over to a blue one and the drove it out for us. We looked at the sticker and it was lower that we expected. So we sent home to get our trade and see what might happen expecting nothing. We decided to work on the convertible and stated what we were looking for in price. We discussed this some and ended up reaching a decision that we felt comfortable with. While the dealership was preparing our new car, we went to sign paperwork. What a great experience, we spent more time just talking with Ryan than signing. The manager, JJ took us on a tour of their new facility which is extremely nice and in turn they are very proud of it. When it was time to accept our new car, Cindy went through the vehicle with us and we were on our way. Overall I have to say this was the best car buying experience we have had and we have purchased many vehicles through the years. Looking forward to visiting the dealership for service.

Phenomenal experience

My wife and I had been looking for a Golf tdi recently and we had plans to go up to Portland to do our car shopping. Our past experiences locally had been fine it's just that we had always received a better price form the the larger dealers in Portland. This time was different though. I called around to a couple places and found what I was looking for a steel blue golf. The sales guy at the auto mall told me yep I have it and I have the lowest price you will find. ($2500 less than everybody I called) when I got up there the car was white and not what I was told. I wanted a manual and this thing was an automatic. Needless to say I was very upset and so was my wife. We then called VW in Salem and they said they had one. I asked if they could match the price and the sales manager politely said no but he would sell it to me for the same price he would pay. He was very down to earth and a straight shooter we later found out that he was retired from the army and carried himself very professionally. So we left Portland and headed back down to Salem. By the time we got to the dealership the car was spotless full of fuel and ready for us to take it home. These guys made it so simple that we will be replacing our second car there next week when our Sportwagen comes in. I can't speak highly enough of the new management and the outstanding way we were treated. Keep up the great work guys you got it figured out.
