One of the single most disappointing experiences in car shopping. I have been in the market for the past three months to try and find the perfect second car that I can use to help take mileage off my primary vehicle. I was specific on what I was looking for, and because of those specifics, I finally found the vehicle on Cars.com sitting at Car City LLC. I initially contacted them through Cars.com, asking if the vehicle was still available. I received a response within 24hrs from Nick, who did reply that the vehicle was available. I replied with another email asking about certain specifics on the car, as well as telling him that I was out of state amd would need to discuss transportation of the vehicle back to my home state. I never received a response after that. The next day, I decided to call them to discuss the car over the phone because I never got a response. It was answered by Nick, the person who initially replied to my email. He was nice at first until I asked about getting a Pre-Purchase Inspection. His demeanor changed quickly. Since I was unable to personally inspect or test drive the vehicle, I wanted some independent eyes on the car that can tell me the real issues, and since the car was an Audi, I asked about having the car inspected at an Audi dealership that was approximately 9-10 miles away from his place of business. He told me under no circumstances that they can take the car to the dealership for the PPI. It would have to be within 1 mile of his dealership to have the car taken to another facility. I argued that most test drives are in between 5-10 miles, so what is the difference in taking it to Audi. He again, said no he would not accommodate my request. I then told him it was very concerning that a seller would not allow an inspection that a potential buyer is requesting. I told him that I would not do business with a company that hides their vehicles. That is when he nonchalantly said, "oh well. I got off the phone with Nick and started thinking about our conversation, and it started to bother me. I called back to Car City and Nick answered the phone again. I asked Nick if I can speak to the manager on duty and he said that he was the manager. I then asked him who the owner was and wanted to speak with him. He said that the owner was not there. I demanded a phone call back and he said that he would discuss it with the owner and that if he agrees to bring it to Audi, I would then get a phone call back. I said that was not acceptable and that I wanted a phone call back irregardless. He said that is not the way it works. It has been over a 5 days since my initial contact and no phone call. It strikes me very hard that a dealership will try to make it very difficult to obtain an inspection prior to selling the car. I also find it very disappointing that Nick is the voice for this business. There is no professionalism that comes out of this place, and therefore, will never do business with them. Take my experience as a word of caution to those of you who are considering purchasing a vehicle from Car city LLC. I would completely walk away and find something on a different lot that treats you with respect.

The experience of buying a car from this dealership has been an absolute nightmare. They sold me an unsafe car that had almost no brakes on the rear, the cash down payment that I made was mysteriously lost and they tried to charge my credit card (unauthorized) an additional $1850!!!! They are dishonest and frauds! I would warn anyone from going there to purchase a vehicle.
